“Nous avons passé de magnifiques vacances à la villa Geana. Nous étions 11 personnes de tous âges et tout le monde a adoré. La villa est spacieuse, très bien équipée, très propre et idéale pour se reposer. Le jardin est magnifique et très bien entretenu et la vue sur la mer est tout simplement grandiose. Quel bonheur de se réveiller le matin face à ce paysage. Malheureusement à cette saison (fin octobre 2014) nous n'avons pas beaucoup profité des extérieurs et seuls les plus jeunes et les plus courageux se sont baignés dans la très belle piscine. De beaux souvenirs de vacances en famille, merci . ”

“I would like to start with a BIG THANK YOU for the little space of Heaven!!! Yes, the villa is more than you see on the picture. Is large, bright, modern, very clean, warm welcoming, same as the owners. In terms of cutlery, kitchen ware, glasses, has everything. Swimming pool is perfect for chill, the little one had her own play ground, the teenager has slept almost nights on the swing outside, men did BBQ, women enjoyed cocktails:))), and lots of music. Lie on the sun loungers on the night...you will feel between the stars...amazing!!! We had a little wedding party, only ordered food and drink and had a SUPER PARTY!!! I would highly recommend to come with your family and friends, and to enjoy a perfect holiday!!!”

“We were three generations: grandparents, daughter and son-in-law, and three children aged 6.5 years, 4 and 2.5. The villa was ideal for us, quiet, but close enough to the seaside town of Georgiopolous and within walking distance of several tavernas down the hill where we often ate and, a short drive from Kournas where we also ate royally. The shallow, sectioned off part of the pool was great for the two youngest children, and the garden and balconies were pleasant to sit out in. Our host visited to make sure all was well and made us feel at home. We would recommend this villa without reservation and found Charnia Rentals to be helpful and efficient. Thanks for a great holiday!”

“Wir (Grosseltern, Eltern und Kleinkinder) waren Gäste im Oktober 2014. Sehr freundlicher Empfang obwohl wir mit grosser Verspätung eintrafen. Ein Früchtekorb und Wein als Willkommensgeschenk. Sehr aufmerksam! Das Haus ist sehr grosszügig und tadellos sauber. Man hat genügend Platz, auch bei 6 Personen. Gut gefallen hat uns der Garten mit seinen Granatäpfelbäumen. Genügend Platz für die Kleinen zum spielen. Sehr geschätzt habe ich auch die Aufmerksamkeit, dass Luftmatratze etc. zur Verfügung standen. Zum Meer spaziert man in ca. 7 Minuten. Dort hat es dann einen Kieselstrand. Das Haus ist ideal gelegen, um die Westküste (Balos Strand, Elafonisi Strand) auszukundschaften. Ein Auto ist empfehlenswert.”

“Wir benutzten das Haus im Oktober 2014. Grosseltern, Eltern und Kleinkinder. Die Lage war für uns so traumhaft schön, dass wir auch viel Zeit im Garten verbracht haben. Das Haus steht für sich, eingebettet im grosszügigen Garten und Hügeln. In der Nacht ist es ganz ruhig. Der Strand ist ca. 4-5 Min. per Auto erreichbar und sehr, sehr schön! Ganz empfehlenswert für kleine Kinder! Beste Betreuung durch die Besitzerin. Sie hat sich sehr Mühe gegeben, uns mit Ausflugstipps bedient und geholfen, unseren Rückflug zu organisieren. ”

“Beautiful location, villa was equipped with everything needed. Weather cooled towards mid October but still braved the pool. Suggest some local information would be useful in folder, nearest shops, restaurants etc. We had visited area before but anyone new would take a couple of days to find best bakery,shops etc. Tavronitis was our favourite. Falasarna beach seemed to have sun when Xirokampi was overcast. Would recommend to anyone. We loved walking through olive groves, a walking map of 3 or 4 circular routes would be useful.”

“We spent a very relaxing two weeks at Metochi Villa in October. The villa is very well appointed, comfortable and well laid out. The owners were lovely and the villa was kept incredibly clean throughout our stay. The pool was a bit cool that late in the year, but we still used it! Fantastic views out over the bay in a quiet location, but still only five minutes from the main National Road. We were recommended a few places to visit by the owner, and all were worthwhile. The villa is in a great place to explore the west of Crete. Chania is only 15-20 minutes drive and there are plenty of shops and supermarkets local to the villa. Highly recommend trips to Chania, Rethimnon, Samaria Gorge and Knossos, and there are nice beaches at Elafonisi and Sougia if you don't mind a drive. Some nice tavernas in Tavronitis and surrounding villages for evenings. Lovely villa and would recommend it to anyone visiting Crete. If possible, fly into Chania airport, but it is only two hours away from Heraklion. A car is essential, so either airport is suitable.”

“With our 2 teenagers we stayed 1 week at maritina, and it was a great pleasure for all of us. The house is exactly as it looks on the pictures. Very spacious, comfortable, with a stunning view over the west coast and so quiet ! In the middle of these olive trees you realy can feel like a landlord overviewing his estate :-). The kids loved the pool, even if it was already a bit cool. We loved the terraces, the barbecue and fire place. From there you also have many possibilities for daytrips in the area. Samaria and other smaller gorges, Falassarna beach, Balos beach, and for sure, Chania. Also the taverna we can recommend in Xirocampi. Just order a bit from everything, you will not regret it. Thank you very much Manos, for your hospitality ! Thank you for the wine, the olive oil, the good time we had at your house !”

“It is a perfect house. The pictures doesn't lie. Perfect poole, perfect service. We where 8 people at the age from 2 to 60 years old and we all had a great vacation. We where happy that we had a car because the house is on a hillside but therefore it has a beautiful view. . We would absolute recommend this house, we are sure that wee will come back again..”

“We spent a week in October in this beautiful villa and couldn't rate it highly enough! It was spacious, very clean and comfortable. My kids loved the pool which even in October was warm enough for swimming in. There is a local mini-market and bakery within walking distance of the villa and we ate at a local restaurant - Monica's which was lovely. We also hired a car through Chania Rentals which was great - met at airport and car was just outside and easy to drop off again. Would highly recommend the villa for a lovely holiday. ”
