“Just wow!! There were 8 of us, 5 adults and 3 children, and it was absolutely, utterly perfect. A beautiful house, with a bonus pool house/annex with everything, yes everything you could possibly need, from mozzy plugins with tablets, toiletries and loo roll to herbs, spices, oil, vinegar and coffee - a real home from home. The house has ample space for everyone, and with equivalent number of bathrooms to bedrooms, meant no queues! Me and my husband slept in the pool house, also thoughtfully decorated, well equipped and comfortable - affording us a bit of space. Easy walking distance to shops, bars and restaurants and the beach. Catch a bus from the end of the road, every 20 mins, to try many, many other beaches and towns along the coast. The owner, Stella is exceptional. We arrived to find she had not only stocked up with the basics, such as milk, water, butter, bread and jam, but went on to bring a beautiful birthday cake for one of the group whose birthday followed a few days after we arrived. The housekeeper Effie, was also lovely. Nothing too much trouble. We had a truly wonderful holiday and would definitely return. Thank you Stella, so very much. ”

“First of all, communication with the owner was wonderful. The villa and the surrounding area are a very special place. The landlady welcomed us so warmly. Drinks, fruit, and pastries were prepared for us. The house was decorated with great love. The garden is a true dream. Here, you can find plenty of peace and relaxation, secluded in the olive grove. A small family of cats lives on site that loves to be fed. This made our vacation at the IO Villa even more enjoyable. I 100% recommend this villa and the friendly communication with the owners. We will definitely be back. Thank you for the wonderful time ❤️”

“If you are considering a villa holiday then please make Aquila your’e choice. The house itself is stunning, well maintained and a gorgeous mix of modern and traditional style. The owner Artemis kindly met us with the agent Niki on arrival and gave us a lovely tour…they are both on hand if you have any issues/questions and answer very quickly. The location is slightly isolated so you will need a car to get to a large enough supermarket to do a big shop but there is a tiny shop and restaurant within a 10 minute walk. A generous basket of treats was awaiting us on arrival and the villa has all you will need to cook day and night. The views are breathtaking and it felt like a home from home… we only left the villa on a single day! Without a doubt we will be back and I can’t wait. ”

“The best villa we have stayed in in over 25 years of villa holidays in Greece, Spain and Portugal. The whole process of booking and arrival at the Villa was excellent and our hosts could not have been more helpful in meeting us on our late night arrival, providing a brilliant welcome pack which we were unable to finish in the week. The location high up on the hillside provided stunning views in all directions and the sunsets were amazing. The Villa was great, 4 bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms ensured everyone was equally catered for, great beds and furnishings. The kitchen and lounge area were fully equipped and were spacious. The outside space was grassed (allowing for some friendly Padel/pickleball games) and provided several different seating areas and the many loungers, bean bags and chairs was a really nice aspect. The pool at about 12 metres was big enough to swim some lengths or float on the provided airbeds and relax. A great place to stay in every respect and it is very possible that we will revisit this stunning villa again in the next couple of years.Thanks so much to Artemis and Nikki and Chania Rentals. P.S. “When we arrived we were greeted by Stella, who was an amazing host the whole 2 weeks we were there. The villa was beautifully decorated and very clean as was the garden and pool. Nice and quiet area with not far to drive for the nearest taverna. Views are lovely from where ever you sat on the property. Thank you for making our stay so relaxing. ”

“This was one of the best holidays we’ve had, the villa, welcome and facilities are 5*. If you’re thinking about booking this villa, my advice would be to book it now, you won’t regret it, the standard of the accommodation was superb. We received a great welcome, a fabulous welcome pack and the villa was so clean. I would recommend anyone that wants to visit Crete, come here, the tavernas in the village were excellent also, both different to each other, but both great. You will need a car, but that means you can tour the island. The team that manages the villa were also great, we had no problems but they checked in with us every week. ”

“Villa was stunning, the views are outstanding, the villa is clean and spacious (has been updated since some of the reviews/the photos were taken). Had an excellent week here with the family, was enough room for us all, outdoor areas were lovely and the pool was big and clean. Was met at the villa by Stefanos who gave us a tour, he was also contactable throughout the week for any questions we had. would thoroughly recommend this home to anyone looking for a place to rent. ”

“Séjour exceptionnel en famille (2 adultes, 2 enfants). Villa parfaitement adaptée et conforme aux photos et à l'annonce. L'accueil et la relation durant le séjour ont été parfait. Commerces et restaurants à proximités. Lagon de balos et plage Elafonissi facilement accessible. Nous recommandons la villa et nous reviendrons sans hésiter ”

“We spent about 10 days in here, around early July. I cannot explain how lovely the place was. This home served it's purpose perfectly. Every room airconditioned, a few minutes drive from beautiful beaches, this is a spot I would recommend to anyone. The host was incredible, we were greeted with some traditional Greek food on arrival, and delicious olive oil, seemingly from the farm that we were staying on. So grateful to have been able to stay at such a lovely place. Hopefully we get the chance to come back. Thank you Katarina! <3 ”

“Wir verbrachten als Paar zwei Wochen in der Villa Resi und auch wir können uns nur an die bereits geschriebenen Bewertungen anschließen: Die Villa Resi ist eine sehr schönes, qualitativ hochwertiges und neues Haus, in dem es uns an nichts fehlte. Besonders erwähnen möchte ich den tollen Pool und die geschmackvolle Gestaltung des Hauses und Außenbereichs. Antonis, seine Frau und Kinder waren sehr zuvorkommend, immer erreichbar und einfach perfekte Gastgeber. Alles hat prima geklappt. Vielen Dank für zwei unvergessliche Wochen in der Villa Resi, wir werden wiederkommen!”

“Zwei wunderschöne Wochen haben wir in Giannis Villa Victoria verbracht. Giannis ist sehr herzlich hilfsbereit, gibt super Tipps, ist immer für uns ansprechbar gewesen. Das Haus ist schöner als auf den Bildern, wir fanden Willkommenssnacks, Getränke und Gewürze vor! Alles top sauber, wir wurden immer gefragt, ob wir eine Reinigung oder Handtücher möchten. Highlight ist der super saubere Pool vor der grandiosen Aussicht auf den See und das Meer! Wir kommen wieder. Es gibt nichts Negatives zu berichten.”
