“<p class="text-node">Three generations of us, youngest 6 months to oldest 73 years, booked the villa near Maleme for a one week stay in late Spring. The experience was excellent from booking through the agents to the kind and helpful property owner available when needed. The villa was clean, well equipped, and comfortable and the location suited us well, being outside the town but within easy distance. The added benefit was the perfect weather to make use of the private swimming pool on site. Definitely to be recommended!</p>”

“<p class="text-node">We had a wonderful week at Joseph Villa. The villa is in an incredible setting, with breathtaking views across olive groves and Lake Kournas, extending to the sea and mountains too. Enjoying a morning coffee or evening Mythos next to the pool with such a stunning backdrop was truly sublime. The villa itself is well-equiped and Giannis (the owner) was there to greet us with an amazing welcome package, including milk, bread, pasta, cheese and cakes. The beds are all comfortable, there's AC in every room and Giannis provided a high chair and cot for us too. The villa was easy to find and communication throughout the booking process was seamless. We would return to this villa next week if we could, it's a very special place.</p>”

“<p class="text-node">We stayed at Aquila Villa with the eight of us at the end of April, beginning of May. And to be honest, we rarely left the villa. To have the pool heated was the best decision as it was quite cold some days, but we could still do some swimming. We also enjoyed the house itself, really there's nothing that we felt that was missing. The nearby village was also fun, we had lunch or drinks there a couple of times. But the biggest surprise was the sunset every day, one of the best we've ever seen!</p>”

“<p class="text-node">Wer auch immer diese Bewertung liest, ich kann Chania Rentals vollstenst weiterempfehlen! Wir waren vom 16.04. - 27.04.2026 auf Kreta und hatten unsere Villa über Chania Rentals gebucht. Nach anfänglicher Skepsis wegen der geringen Anzahl von Reviews, kann ich nachträglich sagen, dass diese komplett unbegründet war. Die Villa war wie beschrieben und die Kommunikation und Zahlungsabwicklung lief reibungslos, wir hatten tatsächlich gar keine Probleme mit irgendwas. Nicht nur war das selbe Objekt am Ende preiswerter als z.B. auf anderen großen Portalen, man unterstützt am Ende auch die Region die man besucht und nicht internationale Großkonzerne. Beim nächsten Aufenthalt würde ich wieder hier buchen.</p>”

“<p class="text-node">Wir waren bereits zum zweiten Mal in der Villa Markos und es wird sicherlich nicht unser letzter Aufenthalt gewesen sein. Das Haus liegt in einem kleinen, ruhigen Dorf mit zwei sehr guten Tavernen. Die Aussicht auf die Souda-Bucht ist einfach fantastisch und man kann die Ruhe und die schöne Umgebung in vollen Zügen genießen. Wir wurden jedes Mal sehr herzlich empfangen und haben uns sofort willkommen gefühlt. Besonders schön waren die liebevollen Begrüßungsgeschenke wie Wasser, Kekse, Obst, Raki....... Vielen lieben Dank für die schöne Zeit – wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!</p>”

“wir waren vor wenigen Wochen das zweite Mal in der Villa Victoria und es wird ganz sicher auch ein drittes Mal geben! Hier stimmt einfach alles. Der Kontakt mit Niki und die gesamte Abwicklung mit Chania Rentals war sehr angenehm und professionell. Die Villa selbst ist ein Traum: Die Lage, die phantastische Aussicht, der Pool, die Möblierung, die Ausstattung, seien es Küchenutensilien, Waschmaschine, oder... es fehlt an nichts! Wir haben die zwei Wochen sehr genossen und freuen uns schon sehr auf unseren nächsten Aufenthalt!”

“Just wow!! There were 8 of us, 5 adults and 3 children, and it was absolutely, utterly perfect. A beautiful house, with a bonus pool house/annex with everything, yes everything you could possibly need, from mozzy plugins with tablets, toiletries and loo roll to herbs, spices, oil, vinegar and coffee - a real home from home. The house has ample space for everyone, and with equivalent number of bathrooms to bedrooms, meant no queues! Me and my husband slept in the pool house, also thoughtfully decorated, well equipped and comfortable - affording us a bit of space. Easy walking distance to shops, bars and restaurants and the beach. Catch a bus from the end of the road, every 20 mins, to try many, many other beaches and towns along the coast. The owner, Stella is exceptional. We arrived to find she had not only stocked up with the basics, such as milk, water, butter, bread and jam, but went on to bring a beautiful birthday cake for one of the group whose birthday followed a few days after we arrived. The housekeeper Effie, was also lovely. Nothing too much trouble. We had a truly wonderful holiday and would definitely return. Thank you Stella, so very much. ”

“If you are considering a villa holiday then please make Aquila your’e choice. The house itself is stunning, well maintained and a gorgeous mix of modern and traditional style. The owner Artemis kindly met us with the agent Niki on arrival and gave us a lovely tour…they are both on hand if you have any issues/questions and answer very quickly. The location is slightly isolated so you will need a car to get to a large enough supermarket to do a big shop but there is a tiny shop and restaurant within a 10 minute walk. A generous basket of treats was awaiting us on arrival and the villa has all you will need to cook day and night. The views are breathtaking and it felt like a home from home… we only left the villa on a single day! Without a doubt we will be back and I can’t wait. ”

“First of all, communication with the owner was wonderful. The villa and the surrounding area are a very special place. The landlady welcomed us so warmly. Drinks, fruit, and pastries were prepared for us. The house was decorated with great love. The garden is a true dream. Here, you can find plenty of peace and relaxation, secluded in the olive grove. A small family of cats lives on site that loves to be fed. This made our vacation at the IO Villa even more enjoyable. I 100% recommend this villa and the friendly communication with the owners. We will definitely be back. Thank you for the wonderful time ❤️”
