“Absolutely fantastic villa - infact the pictures don't do it justice. We were all stunned at how beautiful it is...and that's just the villa, the location makes it a supreme place to stay. Maria was nothing but brilliant - a fantastic host and was very friendly and helpful. The facilities at the villa are second-to-none and you're a short walk away from beaches, shops. I would say it's worth renting a car to see the 'real' crete but I'm sure equally you could rely on taxi's/busses etc which are all a short walk away too.<br><br> Overall this was one of the best villas and best islands we've ever stayed in. My only disappointment is that I didn't book it for longer. Will definitely return here which seems likely for next year as a week just wasn't enough. <br><br> Thanks for a fantastic stay and look forward to going there again. ”

“we stayed at the wonderfull House for 3 weeks. It has a great View ! The house has all what you need, very silent place, perfect for daytrips in the western and south part of crete, you need a car !<br><br> When you miss something, call the owner, he will find a soluten at once.<br><br> The House is very clean !<br><br> Thank you for the wellcome package ! “We spend 10 wonderful days at the Villa Joseph.<br><br> There is absolutely nothing would be negative at this Villa!!!<br> Especially enjoyed we have the fantastic view, the heavenly rest and the nature. The evenings at the light up pool.........look at the stars-the crickets?(german= Grillen) chirping......the sheeps mäh, mäh.......and drink good wine-its just fabulous!<br><br> Thanks again to the owner. We were soooooo pamper with small gifts and treats, food and wine.<br> Thanks again to the Argentur Mr. Vlahakis Artemis, from the beginning to book, to rent a car- a verry nice and helpful support.<br><br> The place Georgioupolis was also verry nice.There we have always and everywhere ate verry well.<br> You should definitely explore the island,there is so much to see.The most beautiful is this wonderful nature and of course the countless idyllic coves and the sea.<br><br> Crete and the people there- you have conquered our hearts!<br> We will be back.......<br><br> so, and sorry for my bad english, but I've given me trouble:-) :-) :-) <br><br>< Für alle Deutschen sei noch gesagt: man muß nicht unbedingt perfekt englisch sprechen, viele sprechen auch deutsch. “I and my friends have just returned from an idyllic holiday in the above villa.<br> It is well appointed all mod cons !! Really comfortable beds and sparkling linen, Katrina keeps the place tip top. The pool is well looked after. It is very private not over looked. <br><br> Just a couple of small points, if you go with small children the pool is very deep 6ft all over. It could do with more coat hangers, we only used 3 bedrooms but there were not enough. that is all.<br><br> Hope to visit again !! ”

Cette villa possède tout le charme et confort dont vous avez besoin, j'y ai passé 11 jours inoubliables avec mes amis et nous n'y avons pas trouvé un seul défaut. <br> Les photos ne sont pas représentatives, elle est beaucoup plus belle et spacieuse en réalité, j'y retournerai sans doute un jour . <br> De plus, nous avons reçu un très bel accueil de la doyenne des lieux, toujours au petit soin quand il faut, et je la remercie encore pour tout !<br><br> A magnificent, very spacious and luxurious villa, a sophisticated decoration. This villa possesses all the charm and the comfort which you need, I spent 11 unforgettable days with my friends there and we did not find a single defect there. <br> Photos are not representative, it is much more beautiful and more spacious in reality, I shall doubtless return to it one day. <br> Furthermore, we received a very beautiful welcome of the person in charge of the villa, always helpful when it is necessary, and I still thank her for everything!<br><br> Mohamed ”

“It had been the 2nd time, that we stayed in Villa Stelios. And again we had perfect holidays. The villa is located in a quiet area surrounded by olive trees. But by car we were in 5 minutes at nice restaurants and beautiful beaches. Also the lake Kournas is nearby. But often we just stayed at the house and enjoyed a sunbath and refreshment in the pool. The house was regularly cleaned and very tidy. The owner is very helpful. Whenever we had a question he provided help immediately. We can definitively recommend this place to anybody, who wants to spend relaxing holidays on the beautiful island of Crete.”

“We have just had two weeks in the villa calypso. The villa is one of the best we have ever stayed in every facility that you could possibly need.<br><br> Inside and out could not be faulted. The pool is excellent and well maintained and the barbeque area was first class. The villa was cleaned and the bedding and towels changed every 4 days.<br><br> Almyrida is a very friendly village with loads of good restaurants and shops - the beaches at Kalyves are great with free sunbeds if you use the restaurants. <br><br>Can't wait for next year !!!!!!”

“Beautiful location and stunning views all around, as long as you have a decent car or don't mind walking up a very steep hill. Definitely burns off the calories eaten at the local tavernas and keeps you fit if you do walk it. Plenty of space and the pool was essential as the weather was beautiful the whole two weeks.<br><br> The nearest town, Stalos, has everything you could need during your stay and Star Beach was our favourite.<br><br> Great base to travel to other places and sight see the western side of Crete.”

“We (a family with 2 parents and 4 youths) had 14 great days in this fantastic villa. The house is romantic, well equipped, and has a lot of space. The house is clean and has many places to sit down and relax either you want sunshine or shadow.<br> Barbecue in the garden, lemon tree, herbs and a big clean pool. <br>The owners makes you feel very welcome, and give you a lot of information about the house and the island. <br><br> I would love to come back to this house. ”

“We spent a lovely relaxing week at this wonderful villa,. More than met our expectations.warm welcome from Stella and lovely homemade cake later in week. Fresh produce from gardener, villa very clean and Sophia the cleaner very friendly. <br> Shops, tavernas and beach easy walk. Good base to explore western Crete if you wish.<br>sad to leave ”

“We have just returned from 9 nights at this wonderful villa (August 2015) with our 12 year old twins and can honestly say it was the best villa we have ever stayed in. The standard of accommodation was truly 5 star and was like a home from home with the highest quality of finishing and décor in all the rooms, it was spotlessly clean, spacious and the views from the terrace were truly spectacular. The beds were also the most comfortable we have slept in.<br><br> Margarita was readily on hand and nothing was too much trouble for her. We can also highly recommend the eggs from her hens which made for a fantastic breakfast! <br><br> If you have children we also recommend Stavros beach which is a half hour car journey away. This sheltered, shallow bay has clear, warm water and is ideal for snorkelling and also has several small tavernas, one of which has waiting staff that take food/drink orders from your sun lounger!<br><br> If you are looking for a peaceful, relaxing holiday with spectacular scenery and the highest standard of accommodation we can’t recommend this villa highly enough (and we are very fussy about where we stay!). You will truly have the most wonderful holiday just like we did!<br><br> We can’t wait for our next stay in Crete! ”
