“Very nice position on the hillside overlooking the island of Theodorou, but do make sure you have a car. Lovely quiet position and well equipped, although maybe a second kettle in the downstairs kitchen would be a good thing. Due to the wonderful BBQ area, when we ate at the villa, it was always outside. Chania is only a short journey away and there are plenty of taxis that go to and from. I thoroughly recommend this villa and as a family we will be looking to book again. Truly relaxing ”
“If you're looking for a peaceful location and amazing views then Anemos villa is perfect. We stayed here in July with our 17 year old son. The air conditioning in the bedrooms was appreciated and the layout and decor of villa was great. Car needed, but the local villages are only 5 min drive for supplies. Kalives has larger supermarket and also the best beach on the far side just passed the supermarket, lovely long stretch of beautiful sand and not too overcrowded for the time of year. Chania is worth a visit the old harbour and winding streets are a treat. Our only criticism would be sadly no wifi, and a dishwasher would have made it a perfect villa for us and our son! But we would not hesitate to recommend to family and friends. ”
“We have stayed two weeks at Villa Elina and we loved it! The owner is very welcoming and discrete, the house is simply gorgeous and the surroundings very peaceful. We would go back anytime... Actually we will as we are planning to visit Crete once again. We highly recommend Villa Elina. Clean, peaceful, charming, simply perfect for holidays as perfect as can be! Thanks to the Daskalakis!”
“Our family of four had a lovely time in Kourkoulios. The villa is very well located, in a quiet village in the mountains, yet not far from the beaches, restaurants and shops. The villa has everything you need and is very comfortable. The pool has beautiful views and (as well as the whole garden) is completely private. The owners are excellent hosts and apart from welcoming us with homemade cakes and produce, they also gave us good ideas for places to visit during our stay. There is a tavern in the next village (Maza) that is family run by Costas and his wife, who is an excellent cook! The atmosphere is very friendly. An excellent choice for a peaceful Holiday and very wel located for visits around the island. A warm thanks to Eva and Adonis”
“We had to make a late booking due to constraints with our work and it was such a pleasure to deal with both the agency and Margarita on arrival. The Villa was gorgeous, clean and very welcoming with everything being provided that we could think about!

The pool and areas surrounding the villa were very well presented and private with absolutely amazing views from every aspect. It was great to have a covered area for the car to sit under so it didn't get too hot.

We had to use the downstairs annexe because even though there were just x4 of us, my son and daughter had to have separate rooms in the main house. This was OK because they are older teenagers but it is a consideration if you have younger teenagers who may prefer not to be left in a separately locked up unit.

It was a beautifully peaceful location but within easy driving access of a small village and also the beach with plenty of shops and activities.

Margarita was so friendly and welcoming and they made every effort to help us on a couple of occasions. They live in a Villa a few yards away but it wasn't intrusive at all. This is so reassuring.

Bit of a problem with the car but this was sorted quickly and efficiently in a friendly and pleasant manner.

Such a great holiday - many fond memories.”
“We had a great holidays in Neriana Villa. The owner was really kind. Hoping to come back”
“Just come back from spending a week at this beautiful Villa. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a retreat away from everyone. There are a couple of other villa above Iris villa but the trees and planting mean that you don't see anyone. The villa is well equipped with ample furnishings etc for 8 people ( the size of our group) . Maid service and a clean was provided twice during the week and the owner was charming. She came a couple of times to ensure that everything was ok and brought additional parasols and bbq grill at our request . The pool is beautiful and meant that we didn't really leave the villa other than to go shopping for food. I was a little disappointed that the jacuzzi part of the pool wasnt working ( they were waiting for a new pump) and maybe the pool should have been cleaned once during our stay but this certainly didn't spoil the holiday. the dishwasher too is small and not adequate for 8 people .. it also didnt really wash the plates ! so we gave up using it. The local minimarket and restauruant are only a 3 minute drive away and run by the lovely Helen and hercules . They were so friendly with good home cooking that we ate there twice .. so don't miss this as part of your trip. Hope to go back to Crete in the future and I would certainly use Chania rentals to find my next villa if thei experience is anything to go by. ”
“This was a lovely open plan villa, with a large pool, a fantastic view of the sea and a great location within easy walking distance of the beach, local restaurants and the supermarket. The owners were lovely, so helpful, and provided us with some delicious home cooked food. We would love to return one day.”
“Our experience from the beginning of our holiday was fantastic. The owners were there to meet us and show us around the amazing villa. I don't think the pictures do it justice, the marble floors, lovely garden , pool, and mini golf were incredible. We had a lovely experience and would definitely recommend this villa. I only wished we could have stayed for two weeks. ”
“Areousa-2 is a superbly equipped villa with ample space for the seven adults - (two of whom two were elder siblings of 21 and 25) and four children (aged 6-17) staing there. We never ate inside; the barbequeue area was perfect for the evening meal all together, and the various balconies and terraces excellent for breakfast and lunch. We all loved the pool - though our children were all too old to make use of the small kid's pool that was there also.
With that many people staying, essentially two self-contained apartments was convenient, allowing us to to pack all the younger generation into the basement, and have the older generation upstairs. They could even watch different television programmes in evening. The WIFI worked well for Internet access - albeit a little slow especially upstairs.
The owners were very helpful - both in showing us how to find the villa by meeting us on the main road, and in coming and fixing things quickly when the fuse went once.
It is essential to have at least one car. ”
“Villa remvi is a very large villa with incredible views to the front and rear. Only a 10 min walk to the main road, BUT a very steep and slippy one- not for those less active!! 2 of the double bedrooms were not private as neither had doors! The upstairs bedroom not only didn't have a door, but had large windows to 3 sides which made it tricky when dressing etc!! Also, the shower area in the upper bedroom was minute and did not have a curtain- again this required a lot of juggling!! But we managed. However, overall the pool area was lovely and views superb all around.”
“It was absolutly perfect. We recommend this place”
