“It was an absolutely great stay at Artemis Villa. Petros and Manos supported us, two families, very nicely including brilliant surprices. Definitely we will come back.”
“We have been to Villa del Mare at the beginning of July 2015, the house, built 4 years ago, is very nice and its position is absolutely amazing. Lovely sunsets. The pictures and the description of the house reflect what we have seen.
The cleaning service, including bed lines and towels change, is made twice a week. We only had few inconveniences at our arrival (one fridge, hair dryer and one conditioner not working), but everything has been fixed promptly. The house was clean, with a modern look and the kitchen has everything you need to cook properly.
We would like to thank 'Angelo' who has been taking care of the property, he speaks very well Italian and has been very kind and helpful with us.
The swimming pool is beautiful and clean. A car is a must to reach the beaches and the shops nearby. In Stavros there isn't that much to do, only some small supermarkets on the contrary Chania, which is about 20-25 min by car, is a more lively city. The prices in the restaurants are cheap; the cost for a dinner can vary between € 12 a € 24 (except once in Chania where we spent € 30 per person). The only negative aspect was the air conditioning not working in the car we rented.

La casa è molto bella, costruita quattro anni fa, e la posizione è fantastica. Tramonti stupendi. ”
“We had a fantastic holiday at Danae Villa, the owner, Kyriakos, was the perfect host, friendly, there if needed, but unobtrusive.

The villa is in a remote spot, but only a ten minute drive from shops, restaurants and beaches, a car is ESSENTIAL! The drive to the villa is through an olive grove, very bumpy and twisty, we would not have found the villa without Kyriakos's help, this only made the holiday more special, it was like our own private getaway, not surrounded by other villas, very quite - unless it was us making the noise when we were playing in the fabulous pool.

The villa is very comfortable with everything you need and views are outstanding. We fully intended to have a BBQ or two but there were so many lovely places to eat we did not bother.

All in all a fantastic holiday. ”
“Went to Joseph villa with my wife and 2 kids for 2 weeks, and will be going back. Clean villa, secluded and quiet with a great owner. Jannis was welcoming, generous, there for you if you need him, but left you alone if you didnt. All good, loved it.”
“The holiday in Villa Margarita was unforgettable. We are two families with four adults and four teenagers and we stayed in Villa Margarita from 27/07/2015 to 05/08/2015.

The villa is modern, very clean, comfortable and tastefully decorated. It is located in a strategic position from which you can reach some of the most beautiful beaches of Crete. If you don't want to drive, in few miles there are the pretty beaches of Chania, while in an hour you can reach beautiful places like Elafonissi, Balos, Falassarna, Paleochora, etc. For the lazy people, Villa Margarita offers a clean and welcoming pool.

Mrs Margarita is polite and very nice. We felt right at home! We provided a vegetable garden from which we picked up at will land products: tomatoes are very unique, to try! We ate at a nearby tavern called Elia, where we are treated with kindness and we enjoyed typical local dishes. The only sour note of Villa Margarita is that The time flies fast and the holiday is over too much too soon.

Finally a special thanks to The agency Chania-rentals for The professionalism demostrated.”
“We had a wonderful holiday in this beautiful house. The owners received us warmly. Before you reach the house you have to drive 1.5 km on a dirt road. But then you enter this lovely villa.

Beautiful view. Plenty of space in the house and around the house. Aircondition in every room. Cleaning twice a week. Nice barbeque place. And the owner lives nearby. So if there is a problem, they can help you immediately.
we had a very pleasant stay. ”
“We had never rented a Villa before, so we were rather nervous about this experience! But this was someting more than we could ever have expected! First of all, the hostess Margarita, is a wonderful woman with an excellent feeling for how to take care of her guests. With organic gardens and fresh eggs delivered whenever we asked, she made sure that we felt like home.
The Villa itself was HUGE with a beautiful view. Lots of space and very tasty decor.
I will recommend all of my friends to try this type of vacation, you will not be disappointed I promise!!!

It´s definetly a place I recommend for family with both young and older children or just a bunch of friends. Car is recommended since you need to drive to the foodmarket. The beach is close by in Agia Marina where great public beaches is provided. ”
“Absolutely fantastic! My husband, myself, our to sons and their girlfriends have been staying in this beautiful villa for 2 weeks! Margarita, we thank you, your husband and the gardener for everything!
We had such a nice time! We could take all the vegetables we would like from your "kitchen garden" and we did!! Thank you!
We are recommending this place to everybody. Peaceful, close to beaches and shops but still in the nature. We love to do sport, good roads to run, full of opportunity's!

Thank you! We miss you all! ”
“We loved the villa. It is beautiful inside and everything has been thought of from a lovely welcome pack with wine, greek salad ingredients, tea, coffee, eggs to dishwashing tablets and beach towels. The garden immediately in front is full of the owners fruit and vegetables and the gardener offered us some each day! The beach is 30 metres from front door where each morning we had an amazing morning swim in lovely calm water making you feel totally relaxed. We spend two days in Chania which we loved and then got the public bus (instead of planned taxi) to Kalyves. We got off at the supermarket and simply walked a few minutes down the small hill to the beach and the villa. Kalyves village is very nice and not too touristy. A normal working village but with some lovely little beach tavernas. We didn't hire a car. We took a trip to Almarida which is more touristy but also has a nice beach. Went there for Scuba diving but were taken to Plaka for that which was a beautiful small cove This villa is great to relax and there are enough places near it to eat and drink or you can walk about 15 minutes to the other end of Kalyves for more choice. We thoroughly enjoyed everything about this villa and Crete and would definitely return. ”
“It was our second time in Crete and we enjoyed this beautiful island as it was our first! We wanted a villa in a small village, in the country, but not to far from the national road and the sea with a good standing, a swimming pool... The Elina Villa has been almost perfect for all of us (our 3 childrens - 10, 14 & 17 years old - my wife and I) : What a shame to have the swimming pool in the shade every days from 5 pm... Very good service deliveries. The Internet site is trusty, reliable and serious. We recommend it without restraint.”
“What a fantastic holiday - directions were spot on, great host, who met us, explained everything and then left us to enjoy the peace and quiet. The villa had everything we wanted - a brilliant pool and tremendous views. It was well furnished and spotlessly clean. The track to the villa was not as bad as we had been led to believe, added to the joy of the holiday as it really felt like we were off the beaten track. A great two weeks left us totally relaxed, we definitely want to come back.”
“Excellent holiday spent in this villa. Good size, fantastic view and pool. The owner was helpful and the cleaning was immaculate. There is a good local bus service but I would advise either renting bikes or car hire if you intend to shop at the nearest supermarket. The walk down the hill is OK in the morning but in the heat of the day carrying any bags back is hell! Local taxis are cheap and provide an excellent service. I found the Cretians to be hard working, friendly and honest. Not something you can say about all European holiday destinations. ”
