Artemis Villa is located in a peaceful area between Maleme Village and Xamoudohori Village. A long, clear beach extends in front of Maleme, while Xamoudohori is a small, hill village with wonderful panoramic view over the sea, the countryside and the mountains. The resort of Platanias with the many beach bars, restaurants, cafes and shops is about 6km away.
The garden of the villa is 4000sq.m. It is a part of a 23000sq.m covered with olive trees private field. Every part of it has wonderful view to the sea and the mountains. Around the beautiful pool - the water comes out of a rock - there are sunbeds and parasols where you can take your sunbath enjoying the tranquility of the area. There is also a charcoal grill where you can cook delicious dishes.
Each floor of Artemis Villa is designed to accommodate 4 persons. Each floor has an equipped kitchen, a cozy living area, a formal dining area, one double bedroom, one twin bedroom and a bathroom. The bedrooms of the upper floor have private balconies, while the veranda of this floor offers an amazing panoramic view over the sea, the countryside and the mountains.

The location is great, the view fantastic.
Manos welcomed us very warmly and helped us with our broken rental car on the first day.
The villa is no longer a new build and should be renovated a bit. The pictures on the website are about 10 years old. This is something that guests notice when they get there.
The balcony and terrace have been renovated and are very nice.
The pool no longer looked so inviting due to the climate, but I hope that it will be given a fresh coat of paint. If the pool filter is bothering you in terms of noise, speak to Manos. That can probably be changed.
We were able to resolve small disagreements with the rental company without any problems.
We really enjoyed our vacation and would recommend Villa Artemis. Best wishes from Berlin.
Villa Artemis is beautiful. The gardens and pool area offer plenty of sun or shade.
The rooms were all big and well decorated.
Our only negative was that we were not greeted by the owner and did not see them during our stay. This would have been useful as there was not any information on the villa and its facilities or the surrounding area, within the villa.
Also, something that is not stated in the villa description, is that there is a 1.3km dirt track road that leads to the villa, through the olive groves that is very bumpy and very narrow.
Thankfully we had hired a vehicle that could cope with the journey, and it did not bother us at all.
We would definitely stay at Villa Artemis again.
