“This is an amazing villa is a fantastic location. It's just 5 mins walk to a lovely sandy beach which, although not completely calm water, was perfectly fine for my 3 and 5 year olds and the waves added some fun to our beach days. There are a couple of nice tavernas for lunch on the beach and also a couple just at the bottom of the lane that the villa is on, just 2 mins walk away. Kalyves itself is a 15 min walk.<br><br> The owners are absolutely lovely and greater us with food, homemade wine and olive oil and we were invited to pick fresh figs whenever we wanted from the huge fig tree in the gardens. The pool was cleaned every 2 days and, as we stayed for 2 weeks, the villa was also serviced 3 times. It was very clean and the kitchen as very well appointed.<br><br> I would highly recommend this villa, just so you know what you are getting, bear in. I don't that the whole villa is open plan with the beds on a mezzanine level and the double and two singles separated by a partition rather than separate rooms. The website does make this clear though. This was fine for us, especially as you are inside so little, but might not work for everyone. Also, the two bathrooms have basic facilities, handheld shower units in the corner of very small spaces. Again, this worked for us but might not be up to some people's expectations. The only other thing to note is that clothes storage is fairly limited with one small wardrobe for all of you. Not a big issue for us.<br><br> Lovely, would return tomorrow! ”

“We have had a wonderful stay for 2 weeks in the Euphoria Villa. The villa has great views to the swimming pool and sea views from the terrace. The rooms are large enough and equipped with spacious wardrobes. The kitchen is well equipped and large enough. The pool has a beautiful location to over the house and is 3 times a week maintained by the owner. We have never experienced better service during our vacation than this year. A great reception of Manolis during our arrival. He had secured enough food and drinks in the fridge, so you don't need right away to the supermarket to do some shopping. The house is cleaned at least once every week and regularly provided with clean towels and bed linen. At each visit by Manolis he brought something with it: fresh oranges, pastries, herbal teas or other regional products. Thanks to the quiet and beautiful location of the villa a 10-minute walk from the village of Plaka with some restaurants, we have had a great holiday. In Plaka we have the best experience with the Italian restaurant &quot;Una faccia Una razza&quot;. Manolis, thank you for this great experience. You know what hospitality means.”

“Parfait! La maison est très agréable et suffisamment spacieuse pour 6 personnes. La vue est idyllique et il fait très calme. La maison est nettoyée et le linge changé deux fois par semaine.<br><br> Suggestion : un parasol ou une toile tendue permettrait de profiter davantage de la terrasse sur le toit.<br><br> Le propriétaire est charmant. Des produits locaux sont offerts tout au long du séjour.<br><br> Nous recommandons chaleureusement cette villa et le pays!”

“Villa Victoria is a very comfortable and tastefully well-appointed villa which is set in a beautiful location with views over the lake and the sea. Gianni, the host is very hospitable and thoughtful and always bringing presents of local fruit and produce. Perfect peaceful retreat with a lovely swimming pool and areas to relax.”

“PHOTOS DO NOT DO IT JUSTICE - THE VILLA IS MUCH BETTER THAN THE PHOTOS!!!!!<br><br> We have just returned from an 11 night stay at Villa Calypso.<br><br> The Villa is very modern and seemed almost brand new. The bedrooms are spacious, the open plan lounge diner and kitchen were also very spacious and complete with all modern furniture and styling.<br><br> The villa sits on a wonderfully, fairly secluded plot of approx. one acre I think, with a nice long private drive leading from the road.<br><br> The pool area was fabulous and the pool was definitely much larger than we had anticipated, being approx. 8x4 meters. The only downside with the pool is there is no shallow end. The pool (again approximately) is 5.5 ft deep in all parts. This obviously means the children definitely need to be supervised whether swimmers or not.<br><br> The outdoor area comes with a lovely covered bbq and dining area, we certainly made use of the bbq whilst we were there. <br><br> The pool was cleaned every other day I believe, although most times we were not awake to see them. Cleaners also came 3 times during our 11 night stay and replaced all sheets and towels and cleaned inside and outside the villa. The towels are in great supply - we never ran out!! (Oh and also, seemed brand new).<br><br> Location was good for us as we don't really like being in the middle of a town. Therefore a car is essential. The nearest supermarket is definitely too far to walk in the heat, approx. 1.5km uphill on your return; and then the lovely town of Almyrida is approx. 4km. However a taxi to town only cost 8 Euro, so easily accessible.<br><br> All in all an absolutely fabulouse villa, run by lovely people and we would strongly recommend visiting. We definitely hope to return to the villa.<br><br> Thank you Villa Calypso. ”

“What a lovely villa,beautiful views,great pool,well located and a real treat to saty here three weeks.<br><br> The only downside is the drive,very steep,but you get use to it and it seems to be a very Cretian thing. ”

Beds are comfortable and the level of cleaning is high! “WOW!. What a superb villa in a wonderful rural and quiet location. <br>The facilities were excellent and everything we needed was provided. The owner met us on arrival and his sister Chrissy also came round to see that everything was OK - nothing was too much trouble for them. We had regular cleaning and bed linen changing and there were welcome drinks when we arrived. Outside the pool and barbecue were ideal. <br>A car is essential but restaurants, shops and beaches are in close proximity. <br>All in all my wife and I, daughter and 2 grandchildren (aged 7 and 9) thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I concur with previous comments on the surrounding area for restaurants and beaches. 10/10.”

“We stayed at the yasemi villa for 9 nights and had a fantastic time. The villa was just as we had seen and George, the owner, was very helpful.<br><br> You are quite secluded and you will need a car if you stay here. Our only slight negative was that the area around the pool could do with a touch of weeding but I'm being pretty picky!!! <br><br> Would definitely recommend.<br><br> Chania Rentals were superb, from the moment we booked to sorting out the hire car, they were very attentive and nothing was to much trouble.”

“An excellent villa with really high levels of equipment and luxury. Perfect pool and really good location close to the Beach and town but far enough away to be peaceful. Really relaxing holiday and the owner and his wife are extremely helpful and very nice people - a bit like having friends who call in every three or four days to make sure everything is okay.<br><br> Excellent Villa - would recommend and certainly would go back.”

“We've just returned from 2 weeks stay in Villa Stella and the enjoyment of our stay echo's previous reviews. Spotlessly clean, beatiful garden and Pool area and a lovely traditional villa, close to the village and all the restaurants and supermarkets. <br>We arrived late on the Saturday to be greated by the owner and his wife' who brought fruit, water, a bottle of wine, and the best lamb meal that we had the whole of the holiday.<br><br> I'd highly recommend this villa and resort, we had a wonderful and relaxing time. ”
