“Myself and my wife stayed at Villa Metochi for two weeks in September and we are already considering coming back next year!<br><br> The villa itself is large with plenty of space. The villa has all your regular mod cons but the roof terrace and the pool are to die for. From the roof terrace all you can see if the ocean in the distance while at the same time being surrounded by Olive Trees. If it's a relaxing break you are after then this is the place for you.<br><br> The villa is only a 20 mins drive from Chania and it's old port. However, we particularly enjoyed the little fishing village of Kolymvari which is only 5 mins drive from the villa. Here you will find all manner of tavernas serving fresh fish and traditional Cretan dishes.<br><br> All in all this was an amazing holiday. We would like to thank the owners and Chania rentals for giving us our dream vacation.”

“Our third time at Villa Vallia this time for 4 rather than 2 weeks. Loved the place. With visits over 6 years the place still looks new. Maria and her team must work very hard to keep up he standard.<br><br> Also Maria is to be thanked for how well she pre-loaded the fridge and freezer and for the meals she provided along the way.<br><br> Would recommend the place to all. ”

“We stayed 10 days at Lefteris Villa in Maleme. The beautiful house met all of our requirements! Spacious, very clean and a super friendly landlord and landlady. Maleme is a good starting point to discover the island. ”

“We spent a fabulously relaxed 10 days at the wonderful Elina Villa. Located in a quiet Xirokampi village, surrounded by olive trees and providing a beautiful view over the sea it makes a perfect holiday retreat. The villa itself is well equipped and spacious. Also it was very nice to find that complimentary fruits, sweets and raki were waiting for us on arrival. <br>We arrived late on our first day and were wondering if/where we could find some food. The owners were very helpful and recommended a local kafenion (just a few hundred meters from the villa) so we followed the advice and had a very good authentic dinner there. It was so good that we also ordered a lamb dish for the dinner next evening, which did not disappoint us. <br>Also, this villa has a very peaceful and convenient location to explore the Chania region.”

“From the minute we were greeted and met by Lefteris we fell in love with this villa. It is a stunningly beautiful building with all the home comforts you need as well as the additional extras that you want on a holiday abroad. Both Lefteris and Alexandra made us feel so welcome and nothing was too much trouble. The villa itself is just slightly out of the town which adds to the relaxing atmosphere but on the other hand only a short stroll to the shops and the main tourist town. We would highly recommend this place to anyone and will definitely be back ourselves. ”

The owners were lovely they really made us welcome giving us food and wine on arrival and also during the week. “Villa Maritina is just amazing! We arrived late at night. Manos, the owner waited for us, showed us around and greeted us with fresh fruits, juice, bread, butter, milk olive oil and wine. We had everything we needed for the first day and we were not in a rush to go grocery shopping. The villa and the property are very well taken care of and spotlessly clean. Manos came for a midweek cleaning and he took care of all our needs and gave helpful tips.<br><br> The views over the olive trees and the coast line are amazing! The kids enjoyed the pool and the whole family could relax. Every night we had the most wonderful sunset over the mountains. <br><br> We visited Balos beach, Elafonisi beach and Falassarna beach. All of them are very beautiful!<br> Husband and son made a trip through Samaria Gorge. <br> We can highly recommend &quot;The Wave&quot; restaurant in Maleme.<br><br> All in all a perfect vacation! ”

“Myself and my family of 4 had a fantastic stay in this Villa for 13 nights August 2016. The location is peaceful and had everything you could possibly need for a great home from home holiday. The pool was amazing, the owner kept the place very clean throughout our stay here. <br><br> On arrival which was very late the owner greeted us, showed us around even left a beautiful fruit bowl grown from their own garden. He then took my partner and son on a tour to find a mini market. Throughout our stay here the family could not do enough for us. <br><br> If things were to go wrong they immediately addressed any issues. I would however recommend a car to get around Taxi's were not to cheap considering the rate of the pound on arrival. The supermarket is an easy 15 minute walk, but just a short walk is a small market shop that you can grab milk/bread ect from. <br><br> The only downfall and in the height of the season so extremely hot, the larger rooms air con was not good, we followed the instructions keeping doors and windows shut but made no difference at all, so if you were getting ready needing to use a hairdryer it would be frustrating as you felt like you needed another shower or had to do your hair in stages. It did not deter my enjoyment on holiday just had to adapt.... <br><br> I would recommend this villa to anyone looking for peace and tranquility, that are looking for somewhere ideal for family time, pool, BBQ's and space. It is the place to go... oh and lots to see outside of the villa stunning beaches, towns and places to eat, ”

“We stayed in Almyros villa for 1 week in September and we absolutely loved everything about it! There were 10 of us (8 adults and 2 children) staying in the house and still the house felt very spacious. The outside areas are amazing. Especialy the pool area which has everything you need for a nice relaxing time. It's even more beautiful than what it looks like in the pictures. There is a huge dining table, so no problems for everyone to sit down together for dinner. The house is clean and well looked after. The location feels secluded and private but still it's not far away from Georgioupolis. We walked in to the village every morning to get freshly baked bread. It's about a 1 km walk. You need to cross the main road but we didn't have any problems with that. One night the whole family walked to the vilage to have dinner and then we took a taxi home in the evening.<br><br> Chrissy who met us there when we arrived made us feel very welcome and made it very clear from the beginning, that any querries, problems or even if we were just looking for some local advice.. that we should not hesitate to call! We even got to keep the house for the whole day on the day of departure due to the house not being booked up the following week which was a great bonus since we had an evening flight!!<br><br> We would definitely recommend anyone to stay here, everything from start to finish was perfect...we only wish we could have stayed forever!”

“We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Konstantinos Villa. Comfortable and very well equipped inc washing machine and dish washer. Lovely dining terrace and a large garden with a good sized pool. Delightful rural location surrounded by farmland and having stunning panoramic views of the mountains. Don't forget to buy some carrots and apples for the horse in the paddock opposite! Just a 5 minute stroll to Maza village centre and Kostas's family run Caferion where you can experience wonderful traditional Cretan hospitality and quality freshly cooked food. <br><br>The riverside village of Vrisses is only 8 minutes by car and has numerous shops, tavernas including bakeries and supermarkets. The beach at Georgioupolis is about a 12 minute drive and the nearest major centres are Rhythmon 30 minutes and Chania 45 minutes. The south coast (Hora Sfakion) is a 50 minute drive. The villa is an excellent base for exploring the whole of the Rhythmon region. We will certainly be returning ”
