“We were a company of 9 adults and 1 baby. Aretousa2 is a very spacious and wonderful villa with an outstanding view at a beautiful location. The service by the owners and by Chania Rentals was great. We had a fantastic week at the villa with our children and our grandchild to celebrate our fourthiest wedding anniversary. We definitely recommend Aretousa2 for groups as large as ours.”

“We had two great weeks at Villa Resi. The house is absolutely wonderful. We enjoyed the privacy and quiet surroundings. From the terrace you have a fantastic view over the bay of Souda - don`t forget to bring binoculars. The house is perfectly equipped and has everything you need. Within a few minutes you`re at the beach or in the nearby villages with supermarkets and nice tavernas.<br><br> A very special Thank you to our hosts for the warm welcome and for taking care of everything during our stay like cleaning the house or the pool.<br><br> We really enjoyed our holidays in Villa Resi and can highly recommend a stay there. ”

“Superbly equipped spacious villa. Incredibly peaceful & relaxing amongst the olive groves. Host was very welcoming on arrival, showing us around, how everything worked, etc. Even supplying us with a complimentary basket of food & drinks. Everything inside is clean, modern and to a high standard. Having the maid a couple of times a week to refresh towels & clean is also a great plus. Highly recommended! We plan to return.”

“What an amazing place! We’ve just come back from a brilliant family holiday and are already looking at booking again for next year! The villa is stunning, pure luxury. We visited as a group of 8 (7 adults 1 child) and the villa was more than big enough for us all. It’s all brand new and clean and just lovely! The pool was great fun,perfect for my 8 year old and all us adults! The pool guys came twice in the week we were there and the cleaner came halfway through the week and did a really full clean. The owners were really helpful and friendly. The local area is easy enough to work out and has all the necessary amenities. We only had one hire car between us as we were nervy about driving but after seeing the place we’d definitely be happy driving next time it’s all very easy to work out and driving really is a necessity for this villa. <br><br> There are so many bars and restaurants and shops bakeries etc within a ten minute drive and some extra special places a little further. Two places we visited which I would definitely recommend would be Agii Apostoli beach (beautiful beach cove with shallow clear sea) only 20min drive from the villa. We also had a superb meal at Theodosi Restaurant just by Chania which was something extra special. Obviously only having the one car we made use of a local taxi company ‘George Milonakis +306949298830 He was soo friendly and even bought us a bottle of his own raki when he came to pick us up for the airport!! All in all we had a fantastic holiday and will definitely be returning! ”

“We had a wonderful, relaxing holiday at Villa Stella. The villa is beautiful with a great ‘70’s vibe but the grounds extraordinary. So gorgeous. The pool was really big and clean. Having my coffee outside surrounded by birdsong and the smell of lemon blossoms heavy in the air was truly wonderful. ”

“Wij verbleven van 30/5 tot 7/5 2018 in de Adriana villa. Wat hebben wij genoten!<br><br> Otto stond al op ons te wachten toen wij arriveerden op de afgesproken tijd.<br><br> De weg ernaar toe (plm 400 meter) was erg "off the Road" maar gelukkig goed aangegeven. Na een paar keer rijden waren wij er al snel aan gewend. Otto vertelde dat de weg van de gemeente is en deze hebben geen geld om hem te verharden. <br><br> De villa was zeer netjes en heel erg schoon. Heerlijk om zo binnen te komen! En echt alles was aanwezig, we hebben echt niks gemist!<br><br> Ook had Otto allerlei Griekse lekkernijen voor ons meegenomen. Hij vertelde dat wij al eersten op de nieuwe matrassen mochten slapen. Deze lagen wat harder dan thuis maar verder heerlijk geslapen! Halverwege de week heeft Otto het zwembad verzorgd en zijn vrouw de bedden verschoont. En weer kwamen er lekkernijen en souvenir mee. Wat zijn wij verwend door de eigenaren!<br><br> Dit was de eerst keer dat wij met ons gezin op Creta waren. Wat een schitterend eiland! Alles stond volop in de bloei in deze periode en de temperatuur was zeer aangenaam. We hebben heerlijk kunnen snorkelen en zwemmen in de zee. De Imbroskloof hebben we gelopen (de Mili kloof schijnt ook een aanrader te zijn, je gaat door verlaten dorpje en bruggetjes) Chania en Rethimnon zijn een aanrader! Ook Preveli beach was prachtig! (met trap, 300 treden of via Plakias met boot te bereiken) <br><br> Het dorpje Georgioupoli is erg gezellig. Je kunt er heerlijk eten en de winkeltjes zijn tot 23 uur open. De bewoners van Creta zijn zeer vriendelijk. Ze willen overal bij helpen en komen met prima adviezen. Wij komen zeker weer eens terug! ”

“We had a most enjoyable week in mid April which we thought was very good value for such a lovely spacious house.<br><br> We arrived a bit early but were made very welcome and Stella, the owner gave us some home made cheese pastries while we waited for the final cleaning to be done.<br><br> The house is stylish, characterful, light and airy with an unusual but very flexible layout, beautiful and immaculately maintained grounds including a citrus grove. There is plenty of space in both sun and shade and we enjoyed outside living most days. The pool is shallow and was quite cool so early in the year but very usable and refreshing. The house is on the edge of the village in an area predominantly occupied by locals and with a very Greek feel. It is only a short walk to the main road with tavernas, bus stops and a very good supermarket but far enough from the centre to escape the crowds in high season. Maleme is not a picture perfect Greek village but has everything most people would want and a good bus service to Chania for those who want to explore a bit.<br><br> Overall, a very enjoyable stay in a very attractive and well maintained house with a hospitable friendly and caring owner.”

“wonderful villa with 3 nice bedrooms, each with attached full bathroom and private terrace. beautyful kitchen (perfectly equipped) and living room with fire-place, extra guest-bathroom. outside area very nice, quiet and private. beach just across the street - clean, very nice and empty in April. we had wonderful relaxed 10 days and enjoyed our stay very much. thanks a lot!!”

“Nous avons passé 1 semaine pendant les vacances de Pâques dans la Villa Aurora. Nous étions 2 familles (4 adultes et 5 enfants de 7 à 16 ans). La villa était suffisamment spacieuse pour ne pas se marcher dessus : 4 salles de bain et 5 chambres dont un appartement indépendant au RDC, accessible uniquement pas l extérieur. La villa est dans un coin tranquille avec une vue à couper le souffle. A 5 mn en voiture vous trouvez les supermarchés/boulangerie ... Maria la propriétaire est adorable et disponible en cas de besoin. Nous avons testé le resto Arismari quelle nous a conseillé à La Canée. Un vrai régal ! Ne loupez pas non plus, Elafonissi, Falassarna et Balos en bateau au départ de Kissamos (ça fait une ballade sympa pour la journée). Sans parler des bbq dans la villa. On se sentait tellement bien quon avait pas envie de bouger :) Les enfants ont adoré le jardin et la piscine. Au milieu du séjour une femme de ménage a passé 5h à nettoyer toute la maison, changer les draps etc ... + 2 personnes sont venues vérifier la qualité de leau de la piscine et le filtre de nettoyage. Le service est au top pour le prix ! Nous recommandons cette maison les yeux fermés ! Foncez :)”

“We really enjoyed staying in this very well appointed high quality villa that goes well above the standard of a typical holiday house...it’s reallly home from home. It’s spotlessly clean and has everything you need for a very comfortable holiday and being new everything works properly. It’s in a great location and within a few minutes you can be in one of the lovely tavernas in Douliana or in about 5 minutes in Kalives for lunch sitting in a beach side restaurant. <br><br>Beautifully built in local stone the house combines character but with all the modern conveniences of heating, air con, fantastic showers, dishwasher, and good WiFi which we used to watch Netflicks at night. If you like to cook it has all you need in the kitchen. The house has easy access and is very peaceful, with lovely sunsets and views to Souda bay. <br><br>The owners are very helpful and friendly and have really gone the extra mile to provide a quality holiday villa. Thank you so much.”

“Spent a week over Easter in this beautiful property (family of four). The house has been very well restored. Outdoor space is fantastic, esp the pool and barbeque area. Shadu or sunny spots at any time of day. The village has a bakery and small shop plus a café. Later in the year there is also a taverna. Location is excellent - both coats are easily accessible. The owner and his family were extremely welcoming and friendly. Recommend it very highly.<br> This is the second property from this company we have stayed in, and both have been excellent. ”
