“Our family including three teenagers stayed at Euphoria villa for 2 weeks and highly recommend this villa and fabulous pool. Manolis greeted us on arrival and we really appreciated all the gifts and useful tips he provided, he really ensured all our needs were met. The villa is very clean, spacious and well equipped and it was so enjoyable to spend time by the pool and eat outside. For the time of year I would recommend taking insect repellent especially for the evenings! We walked into Plaka several times and it has a very nice atmosphere. My mum and I also did a cooking class in nearby Vamos which was really enjoyable if you want to learn more about Cretan food and herbs. The villa felt perfect for us as it has a ‘get away from it’ feel so you can take it easy in the heat, enjoy the most beautiful sunsets but you can also venture as far afield as you like with a car. We would love to return to this villa and also to Crete!”
“We felt instantly at home in Villa Dionysus and we had a wonderful, relaxing two week holiday. Surrounded by fruit trees, a vineyard and an olive grove, the villa is located in a beautiful, tranquil spot offering stunning views of the mountains and the sea. All our needs were catered for from the delicious meal on arrival, to the food supplies in the fridge, the mosquito machines on hand and the regular cleaning of the pool and villa. We will miss picking the fresh figs for breakfast each day! The villa is ideally situated for easy access on foot to the beach, supermarket, tavernas/cafes, bus stop and the village of Kalyves. We didn't rent a car but got around easily on foot, by bus or with the occasional taxi. We loved exploring Kalyves and the surrounding area and soaking up the Greek/Cretan culture and cuisine. Recommend the nearby 'Piperia' taverna for traditional, homegrown Cretan dishes. The ancient ruins at Aptera are well worth a visit as is the traditional village of Stulos. We took the bus to Chania a couple of times and also to the neighboring resort of Almirida for a snorkelling boat trip and water sports. I think we have fallen in love with the villa and this part of Crete and we definitely hope to return.”
“We were only at This villa for four nights but found it to be very comfortable

The owners Kostas and his father were very welcoming and kept checking in to make sure that all was ok and to bring us the occasional treat including hot cheese pies made by Kosta’s 93 year old grandmother as well as fresh figs, grapes and cactus fruits. This was on top of the welcome gifts of fruit, bread, wine and olive oil!

Cannot say enough good about the place. Our parting gift from Manonos was some honey to entice us back to Crete. We will be back! Thank you for all you have done for us @nd making us feel very welcome”
“Wonderful Villa, wonderful hosts, wonderful location. No complaints”
“This is a lovely villa. The pool area is excellent, very intimate so makes the perfect location for sunbathing, swimming, BBQ and dining in tandem! It also leads from the kitchen, for added convenience. The house itself is quite dark but once doors and windows are opened, light sheds in. We were able to log on to our Netflix account as there is Wifi available. The pool is very well lit, which was very important to us since we enjoy a late night swim after exploring the localities for food in the evening.

Nearby we visited Chania, which is about a 20 minute drive and Rethynmo, which is about an hour. Both similar cities with nests of interconnecting lanes hosting many restaurants, tavernas and shops. Both have an impressive harbour, Rethymno being more of a fishing port with more fish restaurants.
The water park was good, compact and sunbeds were free! Go later in the afternoon (after 3 I think) for a reduced price.
Agia Marina beach was perfect too, a shallow and sandy sea bed for swimming and cooling off.
Platanias is about 10 minutes drive, a busier and livelier beach front with restaurants along the beach and also in the streets. Also small arcades and mini golf too.

Overall, I would recommend the villa, the location and the island to those with families. Thank you to Alexandra and Lefteris, our hosts, who were hospitable, friendly and generous with their gifts of fruit and wine.”
“This villa was absolutely incredible! It gave all that was promised and more. After a major let down on our planned holiday we well and truly landed on our feet when we were offered the rent of Villa Del Sole. The owner met us and was very welcoming and told us that we would have a view of the sunsets. What he neglected to say was how spectacular the sunsets were The villa itself had everything we needed.”
“It all depends on what type of vacation you are looking for. If you want a latest design, super comfortable, all served, beach next door, endless water supply type of vacation, this is not the place for you. But, if you like us wish to spend your time in a modern family country house, excellently planned for separate living spaces, very well equipped with one of the best placements on the island - this is certainly the house for you. Privacy, beautiful views, sunsets and starspotting. Nice pool and pool area with outdoor sunroof covered dinner table, that hosts many. Great barbecue for those cosy family dinners. Very nice and attentive host. We had an amazing stay at the villa and it ticked all our boxes and beyond. To rest here after a day on the road or the beach is food for the soul. You will need a car, since there is a private dirt road to the villa. The villa is secluded but still very close by car (minutes) to the beach, super market, bakery, butcher, shops and restaurants. If there is anything to comment, it would possibly be the hard beds and that some of the kitchen utensils could be upgraded. Apart from this, everything was more than perfect.”
“We have just spent a week at Liodosifis Mansion and it is without doubt one of the best villas we have stayed in in Greece. We have been coming to Greece for over 20 years and so our expectations were high but it didn't disappoint! The views are simply spectacular and the house has been renovated to a wonderful standard. Little touches like a meal for when you arrive were greatly appreciated. We cannot recommend this villa enough and hope to be back soon.”

“We spent a week at Sea Queen Villa in July. Our group from Finland (5 adults and 3 kids) enjoyed the week very much.

The villa is modern, very clean and well equipped. It is located in a nice area and the property is very private. The pool is superb! It is quite large, and our children spent most of the week swimming and playing in the water. There are also several beaches within short walking distance.

We didn´t rent a car because all the services are within walking distance. There are restaurants (delicious and tasteful food) and supermarkets nearby, and you can take a bus or a taxi to Chania.

Our host Mike was very helpful and friendly. Sea Queen villa is a relaxing and wonderful place to spend a holiday! We highly recommend it to everyone, with or without kids.

Thank you, Mike, hopefully see you again someday! Many thanks to Chania Rentals for very good service! ”
“A beautiful villa with amazing scenery. We spent 12 days here in July - it was exactly the holiday we needed, after having busy work schedules and 2 daughters completing GSCE's and A level exams.

It is such a perfect spot if you are looking for peace and tranquility and getting away fom the tourist areas. The pool is wonderful and a decent size -we spent some days just lazing by the pool and other days travelling out and about.

You really do need a car here, the local village bakery sells bread but the nearest decent supermarkets are the next town on which you need to drive to and also you need to drive if you want a range of restaurants- however we were happy to do this as it meant we had such a quiet beautiful location. ( we hired a car from Chania rentals - highly recommended)

The hospitality of the owners was second to none - lovely gifts of their fresh produce and they were so friendly and helpful. The villa was very clean and the cleaner came every 4 days to clean/change linen.

A wonderful stay and we would love to return again”
“This is just a gem. Nice and cozy house with a great view of the sea that easily fit our family of 5 (Including two teenagers). Everything was as we could expect.

Wonderful pool area and the surrounding small villages is loaded with nice restaurants and small super markets etc. Especially Almyrida (5-10 min by car) has a great beach front.

Owner was also very nice and offered great service and flexibility. ”
