“Eine Woche in der Maritina Villa... viel zu kurz um alle wunderschönen Details in diesem tollen Haus zu "sichten". Von der herzlichen Begrüßung durch Manos bis hin zur einmaligen ruhigen Lage einfach alles wunderbar. Top ausgestattete Küche, großzügiger Garten, einmaliger Blick, jede Terrasse/jeder Balkon fantastisch, ein Paradies inmitten von Olivenbäumen. Wir haben uns in dieses Haus verliebt und kommen auf alle Fälle wieder. ”

“We spent 11 nights at Villa Joanna and we had an absolutely amazing time. The villa itself has everything you could possibly need, it was clean and on our arrival we had a welcome basket with water, wines and lots and lots of fruits. Both the husband and wife who own the villa were fantastic- they were very warm and welcoming and we made friends with them. Lefteris (the husband) brought us fresh fruit and freshly caught fish all the time and they were always available to help with any query. The swimming pool and garden are private, spacious and well looked after. The area is rural and peaceful, even though you are a mere 5 minute drive from Platanias and so close to local shops. The nearest big supermarkets are 5 minutes away in either directions, otherwise there is a smaller local supermarket that is a short walk away also. <br><br> Following the driving instructions was easy and we got to the villa in 20 minutes from Chania Airport. All in all, we had a lovely holiday; we felt very safe (both in the area and from the pandemic). We will definitely be returning soon and we recommend the villa to anyone looking for a great villa in a great location for a great price! ”

“We returned last week after a wonderful 2 week break at Elia Villa in Vrysses near Georgioupolis, Chania, Crete.<br><br> This is a super villa, well-equipped and comfortable with a lovely pool and private garden, situated at the top of a cul-de-sac, on the edge of town. The owner, Stamatis, and his family have proved to be helpful and generous hosts whose presence added greatly to an already excellent package.<br><br> Vrysses is a nice village with 3 or 4 good choices for eating out. There are also numerous little villages nearby, most of which have tavernas offering good local food and a taste of Cretan village life, such as the taverna at Maza ( 4 kms ). Vrysses is a good base for exploring western Crete, it is wild and beautifully rugged in most parts, for a thrilling drive try Frangokastello to Kallikratis, it is hairy!<br><br> A great holiday and many thanks to Chania-rentals for a seamless and easy reservation service, one of the best in our experience, your web site is saved for future use.<br><br> many thanks Matt & Fiona Harper, Lichfield”

“We stayed here in September 2020, we had an amazing stay. Both the hosts were extremely welcoming and were very responsive to questions we had during our visit, including arranging taxis on our behalf.<br><br> The villa was spotlessly clean and clearly well maintained. Facilities were exactly what was needed, the outside space is great and feels very secure and safe, the villa is extremely well equipped.<br><br> A few nice restaurants just a 10 minute walk from the villa on the beachfront, and supermarkets also walkable distance.<br><br> Not sure about the previous comment one person had made about the main road, not once did we hear any traffic!<br><br> Thanks for a great holiday<br> Dan”

“Wo fang ich an, wo hör ich auf?<br> Als absoluter Hotelurlauber der schon mehrfach auf Kreta war, war es erstmal ein ungewohnter Gedanke in ein Ferienhaus zu fahren. Ansage von mir vorab: Ich werde nicht kochen und auch nicht meinen Pflichten als Hausfrau nachkommen. ; )<br><br> Meine Befürchtungen wurden ganze 2 Sekunden nach der Ankunft schon widerlegt. Die Begrüßung vor Ort war so herzlich wie man es sich kaum vorstellen kann, uns erwartete eine blitzsaubere und wunderschöne Villa. Sogar der erste Einkauf war schon erledigt. <br> Ganz großes Lob hier an Artemis und seinen Vater, die uns immer für Fragen zur Seite standen und darauf achteten, dass der Pool regelmäßig gereinigt wurde. In diesem Ferienhaus findet man wirklich alles um einen entspannten und sorgenfreien Urlaub zu genießen. Die voll ausgestattete Küche machte es mir schwer mich an meinen Vorsatz nicht zu kochen zu halten. Frühstück und eine weitere Mahlzeit haben wir so immer auf einer der beiden wunderschönen Terassen gehalten. Ganz besonders der Ausblick der Dachterasse ist bei einem der wirklich guten kretischen Weine zu empfehlen. Unsere Tochter konnte schon morgens vor dem Frühstück in den Pool und war hellauf begeistert. Kostenloses Wlan im Haus und am Pool ist sebstverständlich auch vorhanden. Ganz untypisch für mich: ich hab es echt genossen eine Waschmaschine zu haben. Egal ob Kleidung der Kurzen oder die Handtücher vom Strand (übrigens auch diese werden einem gestellt) waren nach wenigen Stunden wie frisch aus dem Koffer. Dieses Ferienhaus besticht durch eine wirklich durchdachte Aufteilung und einen sehr schönen Außenbereich. <br><br>Zu erwähnen ist aber auch die gute Lage: im Ort selber gibt es 2 kleine gute Tavernen und einen kleinen Supermarkt der für alle Notfälle ausgerüstet ist. Mit dem Auto ist es aber auch nicht wirklich weit nach Chania oder Rethymon, beide sehr zu empfehlen. Da am Haus auch ein guter Grill vorhanden ist empfiehlt sich auch ein Ausflug nach Georgioupolis, hier gibt es einen sehr guten und günstigen Schlachter direkt im Stadtzentrum. <br><br>Allles in allem ein ganz herzliches Dank an Artemis und wir werden sicher nochmal wiederkommen. ”

“Euphoria villa is probably one of the best Villa’s we have stayed in well equipped with everything you need <br> 3 Spacious double bedrooms with air conditioning <br> Beautiful pool with sun on it all day<br> Lovely sea view <br> There are 7 to 8 excellent local taverns within a 15 minute walk or just cook on the BBQ <br><br> Manolis the owner was the perfect host <br> He greeted us on arrival with a lovely local welcoming pack <br> Visit to clean the pool every 4 to 5 days with local delicacies for us to try <br> Even left us some traditional Creation gifts for us to take home<br><br> We would highly recommend this villa ”

“We stayed in the house for nearly 2 weeks with a group of 6. We had an amazing stay in the Enid villa and we are looking forward for our next stay. The house is in very good conditions. “We were 8 people (two families with 4 kids) and spent two weeks in the Villa. The location is clean, comfortable and well located considering the most beautiful beaches of the island. The host is very kind and made her best to put us on the best conditions. Lovely the pool for the kids: they loved it!! Really recommended!!”

“We booked the Georgia Villa last minute and were delighted with it. We were welcomed by the owner Sifis and a wonderful welcome pack, the best we had ever had. The villa is very well equipped and the large and spotless pool was perfect for us; pool lighting in the evenings made it a great place to chill out when the sun goes down. There are beautiful mountain views; the pool terrace faces southwest so there is sunshine all day long. The outdoor kitchen has a barbecue and a wood fired oven which we used to make our own bread.<br><br> The location is great, rural but close enough to Vrises and Georgioupolis for easy access if you have a car (which you will need). If you like animals, goats and sheep regularly pass the villa below the pool and there are rabbits and chickens. Sifis and Georgia were available but unobtrusive, the perfect hosts. If we return to Crete we would definitely stay again. ”

“We arrived late in the evening. The villa was all lit up on the outside and looked amazing, fantastic pool area and balconies and outside areas on different levels giving plenty of space. <br><br> We were met by Maria and Manos who welcomed us and gave us a guided tour of the outside and lots of tips and helpful info. <br><br> As per the title, the villa is stunning, even better than the photos. It is beautifully decorated with lots of attention to detail, and is really well equipped. Maria and Manos were keen to receive feedback and acted on it straight away, providing an additional kettle and toaster for the self contained room downstairs.<br><br> The villa is on the edge of a small village and has stunning views of the mountains and the Apokoronas region. It is well placed for visiting Chania, Rethymnon, and also the south coast and is about 15 to 20 mins. from the coast. <br><br> Maria and Manos were fabulous hosts, so welcoming and enthusiastic about the villa, the surrounding area and the region. They were on hand via WhatsApp to provide advice on places to visit and eat. They arranged for the fish man to call at the villa and we had wonderful fresh bream and sardines on the BBQ. Maria’s father cleaned the pool every morning (before we were even awake) and we were left gifts of fresh eggs, figs, tomatoes/peppers, goats cheese and grapes, all their own produce. Finally, they were extremely conscientious in relation to Covid, wearing masks and not entering the villa after it had been professionally cleaned prior our stay.”
