“Just to say that we had the best time staying at Villa Keronia in Gavalochori. The Villa was superb, spotlessly clean and comfortable! The small village of Gavalochori is beautiful with the best taverna, Gavalianos, for miles around. Monica, the owner, is very welcoming and an excellent cook! Anestis, who looked after us was full of local knowledge and friendly as indeed were all the villagers. We will definitely be back, we might even bring our husbands next time!”

“The villa was unbelievable fantastic, even better than the pictures, very luxurious feeling in every room and at the pool, great having two livings, with both magnefisant vieuws and a large and sunny terras. Very good maintenance for both the house and de surroundings. A car is absolutely nessecary for trips, beachvisit and shopping for food. For dinner pick a local restaurant, good food an very friendly and kind people! We had a fantastic week.”

The villa was perfect for a family, very quiet and furnished of everything, even some food for breakfast at the arrival. We had great time especially thanks to the owner and because of the beautiful villa. It was a pleasure relaxing at the Ios villa.”

“We have spend some wonderful days in Maleme Villa. It was Easter in Greece and we were spoiled by our generous host with biscuits, colored eggs, sweet bread and lamb pie- all home made! We enjoyed the homely atmosphere of this well kept and clean place with its pretty garden and the tempting pool. We were glad that it was only a short drive to Chania, a buzzling village with lots of shops, bars and restaurants nestled in the old venetian buildings. Perfect for teenager to stroll along on their own. Although it takes some driving to get to the sandy beaches along the west coast we recommend those day trips to Falarnassa, to Balos or to Efalonisi. Have a picnic lunch under the olive trees and get some greek food in one of the greek taverns while the sun sets. The 'Deutsche Soldatenfriedhof", just a walking distance from the house, should be visited to make sure that these dark years will never be forgotten. The Samaria Gorge was stunning- a nice combination of walking and getting taken back by boat. May is most probably the best time to visit Crete Island.”

“My wife and I had a wonderful week at Eleni. The owner met us and was very pleasant but not intrusive although did turn up at any time of the day to water the plants etc. Fortunately the villa Nektarios behind had a quiet family staying there. If it had been a noisy family with say young children playing in the swimming pool we would not have liked staying there because it was the peace and quiet that helped make it so wonderful. Views across the sea and surrounding mountains are perfect. The swimming pool is deep with no shallow end and was too cold in early May to really enjoy. Automatic lighting comes on at night which makes the pool and garden attractive. We really appreciated all of the water the owner left in the fridge and in particular the oranges from his own garden. Maleme is nothing special and quite a walk away if it is hot but the villa is ideally placed for visiting the west of Crete including Hania. A car is a necessity to get to the nearest reasonably sized supermarket and the very good bakers along the road towards Hania. ”

“We (four people from 24 up to 28 years) spent an awesome week in the impressive Laina Villa: When we arrived, the house owner gave us a warm welcome, showed us the whole building and explained all matters referring the house in a kind an open-minded way and in proper english. We felt like being in good hands; because she answered every question we had and gave us a few insider tips for crete. She provided home made oliveoil (kind of the best oil we ever tried), greek liquor and a big juice basket with oranges- for free. All in all the communication with the owners of the house was very personal and absolutely nice. The villa makes a great visual impact: it s a very old building, with the typical cretan charme - it was renovated a few years ago, but you still feel and see the historic stamp. The house is very clean and there is nothing we could find to complain about. We enjoyed the outside barbecue as much as cosy evening hours in front of the big chimney with some glasses of wine. To put it in a nutshell: we spent a great and unforgettable week in this villa and thanks to the extravagant villa and the friendly owners we' re pretty sure coming back next year. ”

“Beautiful villa in a stunning location overlooking Kournas Lake and the sea. We enjoyed a wonderful week at Joseph Villa which was spotlessly clean and was also cleaned whilst we were there. The owner, John was exceptionally kind and welcoming with gifts throughout our stay. We went at the end of March, early April so the local town Georgioupolis was pleasantly quiet. We would recommend this villa 100%!”

“The spec of the villa is exactly as the photos show - very high quality and spotless throughout. The owners met us and were very informative about local information and good places to eat. The villa itself has 4 balconies, one on each side of the building so you are always guaranteed sun at anytime of the day. It has eveything that you could possibly need, wood fire oven out back, dvds, coffee maker, juicer and its the perfect \'home from home\'. The location is also great for those who dont want to be in the middle of everything. Set on a hill in the middle of a olive grove with views down to the sea. Only 5 mins from the local village and 20 mins to Chania by car. I couldnt recommend this place highly enough and look forward to booking again. ”

“The villa is locate in a beautiful landscape in the middle of an oil grove. We were six people and we found everything we needed. We had plenty of space and every room is not only well designed but also a little decorated. Everything is in excellent condition and our landlord was very friendly and helpful. I can recommend this house for everyone who seeks recreation in quite atmosphere and who likes to have a lot of comfort.”
