“It was a nice place and i can recoment it.”
“Everything was perfect, at the house and the weather. We had 11 persons at the house, and every single one fall in love for Crete. And even we had 11 people there, there weren't cramped. The old couple(Mr. and Mrs. Salonen) are going back at spring, but this house is a bit too big for two perons, even though it is incrediably lovely. For the bigger group of people, we deffenetly recommend to rent this house. :) Genial thanks again for the owners! Kind Regards Birgit Salonen and my whole family from Finnland!”
“We had a very comfortable stay in Gianna villa. There is a beautiful view from the villa, a nice swimming pool, a garden, vegetable gardens, trees, and in general it is a peaceful setting. The villa is well-equipped for cooking at home, but we also had very good food in the tavernas in Vryses and nearby. There are places to sit outside on either side of the villa, so you can always find shelter if it is windy. It is on the road south to Skafon and many beautiful gorges for walking and good beaches both north and south.”
“With 6 persons we had an excellent week in October in Aretousa1. A perfect house, a big garden with many tables and chairs, a beautiful swimming pool, a nice bbq with terrace, we enjoyed it very well. The house was very clean, flowers on the table, water in the fridge, a bowl with a lot of fruits. Very good service of these nice owners. We recommend this house with a far sea view.”
“We had a wonderfull stay in the villa eleni. You really get what you see on the pictures. Everything was nice and the view is just amazing, its the perfect place to turn off and relax. The owner of the villa was very friendy, you can ask him everything. The key handover was no problem. I can highly recommend this villa!”
“Very enjoyable restful holiday in a beautiful villa with stunning views. Manos the owner very welcoming and his hospitality of a constant supply of his organic olive oil and wine etc was greatly appreciated. We loved the seclusion and didn't feel overlooked by the nearby villa. We enjoyed staying at the villa and relaxing but the coast road was only a 10 minute drive and tarvanas, shops etc are in plentiful supply in nearby Platanias. We didn't have any negatives but would of welcomed a more comfortable relaxing chair indoors and the digital TV to have one more channel out of 900 in English. These are trivial things and did not distract from our overall enjoyment of the whole holiday. THANKYOU”
“Fantastic house, excellent infrastructure, a little bit remote but beautifully located, great people, excellent contacts - we would go again any time!”
“Fabulous property in a remote location surrounded by olive groves as far as you can see. The villa was very spacious with three bedrooms on the top floor, all with balconies and magnificent views. The two bedrooms in the basement were less appealing, but were nevertheless fine. The outside area including the swimming pool were fantastic as was the large open plan kitchen/dining room/lounge on the first floor. There are plenty of sun loungers and chairs so that you can eat alfresco in a variety of different locations around the grounds. The villa is located up a rather steep hill, which at night time is completely unlit, so not very practical for the less fit travellers. A short walk from the villa is the old town of Agia Marina which has a very good selection of local restaurants, the main street running through the town had a large number of eating places but these were aimed at the less adventurous or those with young children. It is advisable to pack some ear plugs as despite the remote location, the surrounding properties all had dogs which barked throughout the night. Most of the other visitors to the town seem to be from Scandinavia, so if you are looking for a Brit free holiday then this is the place for you. We coped without a car during our visit as the local buses to Chania are frequent and cheap, however, if you wish to travel further than Chania you may need a hire car for some of your stay. All in all we had a very enjoyable two weeks at the villa and would happily return to the area. ”
“We spent wonderful holidays in Crete and in this villa: - its location is great : peaceful area with a wonderful view on the montains . It's not far from the Vryses and the national road (very practical). The villa itself was as described ; it was clean; many rooms; we enjoyed the swimming pool (pay attenntion, no security for young children). The owner is very welcoming and could give us some advices. The region near Chania is pleasant. A very good choice...”
“Kiitos vielä kerran upeista lomamuistoista.
Huvila oli upea, siisti, kauniisti sisustettu ja kalustettu. Erityisen toimiva suurelle lapsiperheelle. Suuri allasalue, grilli ja rajattu piha-alue toivat oman luksuksensa tullessaan. Sijainti oli rauhaisa, mutta silti matkaa oli vain vähän lähimpiin kauppoihin ja ruokapaikkoihin. Auton vuokraaminen onnistui hienosti näiden sivujen kautta. Lisäksi huvilan omistajat olivat erityisen ihastuttavia ja ystävällisiä.
Kaikki hyvän loma ainekset! ”
“We -3 couples-spent a couple of weeks in September in Olive Mill Villa. The place is quiet, very comfortable, next to a small village where shopkeepers are really friendly. And the main "advantage" is...the landlord! Kostas and his family-especially his two sons,Nikos and Kostas we could see very often. We received quite a warm welcome and they brought us gifts every day:oil, grapes, wine, homemade pitas..... An address to recommend to every holidaymaker!!!”
“We were for a week with 3 children (1-6) and we have to say it was amazing stay. Great villa with nice pool, garden, cats and amazing 360 view. Very kind owners who invited us to their yearly family celebration party. Nice village and beautifull beaches nearby. Great trips to Frangocastello and Rethymno. Most wonderful meal in small Maza (thank you Kostas!). Very entertaining last few hundred meters approach to the villa-) Thank you once again Sifi & your family ”
