“This is an outstanding property. The bathrooms could do with a bit of attention but everything works. The location is stunning but it is a bit of a walk back up from the coastal strip after a good dinner. All in all we thoroughly enjoyed our holiday here. Amethystos restaurant just down the hill is excellent and you can try Markos for a bit of something different. We ate out most nights and never had a bad experience. You can stand and look at a different view from each side of the building. Each one is special. You can follow the sun around balcony by balcony. The maid service twice a week was very good and the beds are made with clean towels at the same time. The pool is regularly serviced and very clean, We had a thoroughly good time.”

“The House was absolutely perfect. There was everything you need also more. Yannis the owner helped in for any our request. He brought wine, oil and croissant. When we arrived the refrigerator was full. What I can say more "We were at home". Go there and enjoy Crete. Thank you Yannis, thank you Chania Rentals”

“We stayed in Villa Eleni together with our fantastic group of friends. This was not our first experience with this company, as last year we stayed at Villa Nektarios. Both villas, which are identical, are beautiful and with a breath-taking view. The description of the villas on the website corresponds to reality, and so do the pictures. Mr Nektarios, a very nice and kind man, will welcome you and he's always available to help you for anything you may need during your stay. We really hope to go back to the beautiful Crete and to stay again in one of these villas. Tina. ”

“This was our second visit Villa Hermes, last time 6 years ago and this time our included 4 grandchildren born since the last trip. The vappointedilla is beautifully appointed with everything you could need. We made full use of the pool and the bbq area was perfect for family evening dinners. The local butcher in Tavronitis became a friend !.The surrounding area is beautiful and the local vine yard is well worth a visit. To get the st fro..m your break a car is a just., this villa would suit families with children or large groups. The 5 bedrooms all have en suite and there is plenty of room both in and out., we were a party of12 and never felt crowded.perfect., will be looking to return in another 6 years !! ”

“Lovely clean villa, very well equipped and a good layout. Had to ask for wood for the BBQ and pizza oven twice, but it did arrive and was enough and dry. Used Helen at the nearby taverna three times it was so good and friendly, only a 20 min. Walk, but uphill afterwards. You do need a car and a good map otherwise. Recommended.”

“Ho soggiornato con amici in questa bellissima casa alla fine di settembre 2013. Attrezzata molto bene, non manca nulla. Il suo nome " harmony" rispecchia esattamente cio che offre. E' circondata da ulivi e viti ed e' affacciata sul mare. La tranquillita' e il silenzio e' il suo punto forte. E' necessaria l'auto per raggiungere il paese. A 3 minuti una taverna a conduzione famigliare offre ottimi piatti tradizionali.”

“Great place and surroundings. Very private place and nature is near so if You want peace this is the place. Lots of paths and little roads to explore. Villa is as good as it looks in pictures and views are amazing to the sea. Villa has easy access by car to sights and places in western Crete so the location is also good. Owner is very friendly and helpfull and everything starting from reservation process with Chania Rentals is very professional and smooth. There is nice little local restaurant in nearby village Xirokampi. You can walk there in the evening (after 18.00) and have very authentic Cretan food with very reasonable prices. ”

“Impressed by the villa and the yard and how well it is taken care of. Spent a lovely week here with another family. Found a short cut to Upper Agia Marina from the villa and spent an evening walking around in the middle of authentic Crete. Friendly people sitting on their balconies and greeting us. The villa itself is surrounded by olive trees. Works good with 2 families, 4 kids between 9 months-6 years, 3 bathrooms is ideal, did not really think about it :) Hope to revisit soon! ”

“We were very pleased with the Joseph Villa. The house was charming, with a good standard, the cleaning fine and the host was very friendly. A lovely garden surrounded the house, full of exotic plants,colours and scents.The pool, which the children had looked forward to, more than lived up to our expectations. The kids even didn't understand why we should go to the Beach, when we had such a nice pool. And the view.... To the North a wonderful vista to the Mediterranean and Lake Kournas. And behind the house some beautiful hills. The neighbouring flock of sheep added the perfect local touch, together with the cikadas at night. And several good tavernas within a couple of kilometres. We would have loved to stay for one more week.”
