“We had a pleasant stay. Nice house, clean, large rooms, pleasant, everything you want. View is fantastic (sea, snow capped mountains). Owners are helpful, friendly. ”

“Marina Villa is very nice, spacious villa in its own peace and quiet. An excellent location for a relaxing holiday. The villa was well equipped, very clean and comfortable. The private pool in the garden is just luxury! The owners are very nice and cordial. We enjoyed our holiday very much and would most certainly like to spend our holiday in this villa again. We would also recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful place to spend holiday. The only small downside of this villa is that the restaurants and the supermarkets are a bit further away. But we don’t have anything bad to say about the villa itself. Marina Villa on oikein kiva, tilava huvila omassa rauhassaan. Loistava paikka viettää rentouttavaa lomaa. Huvila on hyvin varusteltu, erittäin siisti ja mukava. Oma, yksityinen uima-allas puutarhassa on luksusta! Omistajapariskunta on mukava ja sydämellinen. Me nautimme lomastamme erittäin paljon ja voisimme todellakin tulla tähän huvilaan uudestaankin lomalle. Voimme myös suositella tätä paikkaa kenelle tahansa rauhallista lomanviettopaikkaa etsivälle. Ainoa pieni miinus on, että ravintolat ja kaupat ovat hieman kaukana. Mutta mitään pahaa sanottavaa itse huvilasta meillä ei ole. ”

“We stay for 2 weeks in the wonderful Villa Neriana. We enjoyed our stay very much, because the Villa was very comfortable and homely and Stratos, the owner, was very helpful and engaged. Our stay startet with a warm welcome from the owner and a big welcome basket. <br><br> The villa was exactly as described on the Internet and the cleaning service, two times a week, was also very good. The possibility to pick the oranges directly from the tree and the tomatos from the bush was very comfortable and delicious. The owner gave us many tips and information about Crete and greek life. When we had a sun allergy, he went very quickly to a doctor with us. Thanks!!! We definitely want to come back.”

“This year we have stayed at this place for the third time and have already booked for next year. <br> It is not only the stunning view and the peaceful atmosphere at this place. It is also the friendly and warm welcome we get every year. All of us (2 famiies with young Kids - now 5 years old) see that as our very perfect holidays and there is never a question of comin again or not. Also we could recomment ro have a massage with Adam. He is comin to the house and is giving the massage right in the garden. Perfect!!!!<br> See you all next year in June..... ”

“WOW - what a fantastic and beautiful villa. It is finished to an excellent standard and we really felt very spoilt.<br><br> The view is out of this world too and is an added bonus. The owner is so lovely and helpful, We arrived late at night after some flight delays and she very kindly took a couple of people to the local shops to do an emergency shop. However, we did suggest a very basic welcome pack would have been very much appreciated for times such as this.<br><br> We chose not to have a car as we do like walking and the 1.5km into town was not a problem on the way down......but coming back up the hill was a different matter, your legs certainly know about it! But that should definately not put anyone off - as with a car no problem at all and if we could manage the hill on foot then most people will - unless you have any mobility problems!<br><br> The local village is so lovely and had some really nice restaurants and in most of them we were made to feel so welcome - fantastic experience.<br><br> The pool was rather chilly, it was October, but the hardy ones amongst us still had a few dips.<br><br> There were 9 of us - and we all had a wonderful holiday in this most wonderful villa and will most certianly be going back again and for longer next time as a week was not long enough.<br><br> Thank you so much for a wonderful holiday”

“We found the villa was well equipped and very quiet and private down a long track off a minor road. Wonderful views all round . Very helpful owner who was unobtrusive but at the end of the phone if you needed anything. Only downside was that we found the bed to be somewhat on the hard side and as we were there late in the season(October) the pool did not get much sun as it was shadowed by the house so was really too cold to enjoy. This probably wouldn't be a problem in the summer months.”

“We had a very recreative stay in the little village of Plaka. The villa was nearly perfect, fantastic view, lots of room for 4 persons, ... The only little improvement to be done could be a revision of the kitchen equipment. Parking the car was a bit difficult for "flatlanders". But on the whole: an excellent site, to be recommended! ”

“We stayed two weeks in a perfect house, friendly hosts and we had a very warm welcome by Mixalis. The shells were filled with local products, fresh water from the tap (no bottles needed), enough towels, including for the pool. The house was well equiped and specially rentable for two families, or in our case, our family with grandparents. Each house has its own entrance, kitchen, bathroom and living. The access to WIFI was easy and had good connection. The cleaning and linnen changing was very good organized. We thank the host for the delicious bites they brought every time. <br><br>The pool was very clean and the garden furniture was more than enough for 8 person. In this house you can live between realy friendly Greek people, we loved it. They don't speak English, but with hand and feet you can communicate as well...! The nearest beach is about 10km driving. We went most of the times to Kissamos, behind the Carrefour supermarket. There was a nice sandy beach. We can recommend the trip to Balos with the boat from Kissamos and the trip to Elafonisi through the mountains and back along the coast. Along the mainroad in Kissamos, you can find a lot of mini-markets, wtih good products for a fair price. Especially the bakery along the mainroad in Kissamos (on the left side) we can recommend. There is a baker comming into Mouri twice a week. The rental was very good arranged by Chania-rentals, including the car-rental. <br><br>Our resume is that this house, we can recommend to you for having a quite and real Greek holliday!! ”

“When we first saw the pictures from the website we were sceptical that the villa would be as impressive as it appeared but we were pleasantly surprised, it was better. From the impressively cleaned rooms to the luxury pool and modern furishings Villa del Mare is a fantastic experience for a group of friends looking to get away from the city. The two separated apartments make it very appropriate for two families also. Supermarkets are not far by car to fill up the villa with supplies for many good nights looking out at the great sunsets. Would seriously recommend to all.”

“The Villa Del Mar was like being in paradise. Surrounded by shimmering sea and the added advantage of having an infinity pool. The villa was extremely well equipped with everything that was needed to cook and to have a good time for the children in the pool. There were seven of us in the group. One grandmother, four adults and two children ages 12 and 11 all of whom found everything to be just great. I would definitely go back again. A car is a must”

“Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Urlaub in Mouri Villa. Wir wurden sehr herzlich von der Vermieterfamilie empfangen. Mouri ist ein kleines, ruhiges Dorf in den Bergen, mit nur wenigen Häusern. Wer Stille und Ruhe sucht, ist hier genau richtig. Die Villa ist ordentlich und sauber. Die Küche gut ausgestattet. Alles sehr gepflegt. Auch die Außenanlage und den Pool haben wir sehr genossen und waren sehr gepflegt. Im Obst- und Gemüsearten gab es nicht mehr alle Sorten, da die Jahreszeit nicht die richtige dafür war. Tomaten und Gurken konnten wir uns aber trotzdem fast jeden Morgen holen. Michalis und seine Familie sind sehr freundlich und herzlich. Sie kamen ca 2 pro Woche zum sauber machen und haben sich viel mit uns unterhalten, gute Tipps gegeben. Alles in allem war es ein sehr schöner Urlaub und wir hoffen einmal wieder zu kommen. ”
