“We have had a good time in Kondomari. The villa in a olive grove was build on a little peak, so we have had a great view to the coast from rodopou to chania. All things you need were in the house. Fly screens on the windows and doors! Only Satellite-TV was missing - only greek TV. The next good baker, supermarket and taverns we reached in a few minutes in Gerani. The location was good to reach some nice beaches and trips to the mountains for hiking. A must have seen was Chania. A very nice oldtown! ”
“My fiancee and I chose Dyonisus Villa because the pictures were very appealing at first, and on-site, the place is even more amazing ! The Landlords are really nice and kind; they waited for us to present the villa and they made us taste the local products (meals, liquor "Raki",cheese, wine, fruits, vegetables..)

The weather was nice and the swimming pool is perfect to enjoy a relaxing sunny day. All the commodities are here, longchairs, garden table and chairs (if you want to lunch outside with a glass of wine... sweet!!!) The view from the balcony of the room is also quite fantastic.

It's very quiet and disconnecting from 'busy city environment'. We strongly recommend it for couples no matter what age, small families, group of friends (all age as well ;) )

The beach is 15 min walking distance ! niiice

The village is 200 meters from the villa, there are small local cafés and restaurants (I recommend to grab a gyros at the little restaurant next to the first butchery -> delicious!)

The highway is close too, if you have a car, you won't get any problem to reach Chania, which is a really nice city to walk around. (and enjoy a cocktail at the bar with the view on the port)

The car rental of chania-rentals is also simple of booking, and the car we had was great and exactly what we needed. C3

It was a perfect 1 week romantic getaway, we enjoyed it together and we will definitely come back, it was amazing ;)

Manuel and Carolina”
“Just returned from a wonderful week at Keronia Villa. Lovely secluded garden with large Pool ideal for all ages. Only 300m from village centre with 2 excellent tavernas. Villa is very well decorated with all amenities including a large kitchen. The villa has 4 large bedrooms and a 5th bedroom with its own sitting room and fridge on the ground floor next to the games room.Perfect villa for the three generations in our party. Huge BBQ. Great location for local beaches and sightseeing in the mountains. About 40 mins to Chania Old Town. We would love to return in the future”
“Villa Joseph is really quiet, comfortable and spotlessly clean It has wonderful views of the lake to the sea in front, and mountains with flocks of sheep behind. The garden and swimming pool are lovely. There are a couple of tavernas, minutes from the villa in the car, serving great traditional Greek food. We arrived to the essentials for breakfast in the fridge and a welcome bottle of wine. Its in an ideal location for visiting different parts of the island and thoroughly recommended. Also Chania Rentals were really helpful with the booking and always got back to me straight away. ”
“Location spacieuse, agréable et très bien située pour explorer l'est de la Crète ”
“We spent a week in this house. Everything was almost perfect... the only problem we had was with the washing machine, but Manos bought a new one at once, and then everything was perfect. Everything we need was in the house. Manos has prepared for us fruits, oil, milk, tea, coffe, orange juice, yoghurts, so whan we arrived we could eat and have time. The landscape is very nice, with olivers all around the villa. In fact, nothing was missing. And of course the house is very nice, well decorated. It was a very pleasant place to stay for all the family, after visiting all day long!”
“I have travelled all over the world with my family and stayed in villas, gites, riads and rental properties—this is one of the nicest I've experienced all the way around.

First, the villa is a short drive away from Chania airport, but you feel like you are a world away from tourists and the busy kitsch of the city. When you arrive at the villa, you are greeted by Margarita who supplies you with a basket of local honey, teas, olive oil and fantastic balsamic vinegar. She will recommend the perfect restaurant (we tried 3 that were amazing), arrange for a massage, get you a discount on a car rental (we got a convertible at a terrific rate) and even bring you farm fresh eggs in the morning. The villa also has a garden from which you can help yourself.

Aside from this, the pool is gorgeous! There's a b-b-q pit and patio next to it and you overlook olive groves while swimming. The house is situated with two bedrooms and baths on the upper level, a kitchen and living and third bath on the main level and a miniature apartment on the bottom level, which would accommodate up to 5 people with a private kitchen. Our teenager loved having his own space there.

The only drawback of Villa Margarita is that nobody in our family wanted to venture out of the villa to see Crete! Simply fantastic! ”
“We rented the house for a vacation with our family of six adults and four children. The house was really perfect for our group. Plenty of space and enough privacy for all of us. The house was comfortable and the children enjoyed the table tennis, table football and especially the outside pool. The barbecue worked outstanding and we had some nice diners outside. Gavalochori is a nice place to be, near to Almeryda and near to the airport. ”
“During our holidays in May we stayed in Joanna Villa for a week with our three children. We were welcomed by Lefteris en Alexandra, a lovely friendly young couple, who were waiting for us at the villa, even though we arrived much later in the evening because of car rental problems. The house is great! it's big, it's clean, it has got a nice pool and garden. Both sunny and shady places are provided. Halfway the house got cleaned, what a nice surprise!

The house is situated in a small village but is near Platanias, a bigger town. Metohi is a good place to start exploring the east side of Crete. A car is recommendable. We really loved our stay and want to thank the owners for their hospitality and help with the dental problems we've experienced, the advise for a restaurant the first evening and picking oranges in their olive plantation. ”
“We were absolutely happy with the villa. Nothing was missing. It was the perfect vacation. The owner is also very nice. ”
“Very welcoming and informative owner, beautiful garden flowers and walks in the surrounding olive groves. Villa had everything needed but spent a lot of time gazing at the views with intermittent bracing dips in the pool. Recommend the local taverna, food excellent and matched by the owners friendliness . Would loved to have stayed longer”
“We have just returned home from a brilliant 10 night stay at this villa, we had a great time and we didn't want to leave! We arrived late at night, very tired but the owners were very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble for them. They provided us with lots of useful information about where to visit and the local area.

We were very lucky with weather and highly recommend this villa to families and to to those that want to explore. Car hire is essential but it takes just minutes to drive from the villa to the local beaches and shops, restaurants etc. The view from the villa overlooking the mountains and sea is amazing and was a real treat waking up to every morning. The only negatives for us was having to come home! ”
