“We spent the 2 last weeks in Villa Margarita with our 3 children (15, 12 & 5 years old), and these holidays were probably the best family trip we had !! The house is really nice, well furnished & equiped, with privacy for each room, and the view is fantastic !!! Some people in France may kill to get it from their own house ! <br><br> The pictures show reality of the place, and Margarita is such a nice person ! She will do everything to make your stay the best ! <br><br> The swiming pool is great, always clean, sunny all day long, and environment is very nice. <br><br> You can reach closest villages in a few minutes with all mini markets & restaurants, and the INKA supermarket is maybe at 5 kms... No problem to find foodstuff or other... And the fresh vegetables are really appreciated ! We really enjoyed our stay there, and hope we will have the opportunity to come back ! <br><br> Crete is a very peasant place to go, and 'tourists' are welcome ! Thanks to Margarita and her husband for these fantastic holidays... We highly recommend this rental. ”

“Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans la Villa DANAE vaste et très très bien équipée. Pour nous qui recherchions le calme c'était formidable. Après la traversée de l'oliveraie par un chemin de terre pittoresque, arrivée sur un site grandiose - un déroulé de champs d'oliviers et une vue magnifique sur la mer. Plaisir d'une belle piscine et d'un jardin. La villa est bien située pour effectuer des visites (Chania, Gorges de Samaria (à faire absolument) ainsi que les plages paradisiaques et sites sauvages dans les montagnes. <br><br> Le propriétaire est très disponible et attentif au bien-être des vacanciers (accompagnement jusqu'au site et accueil avec informations précises). Nous espérons y revenir ”

“Another glowing review to add to the Kourkoulios Villa page. The villa itself is well equipped and is peacefully located, away from all the mayhem on the beach (but within easy reach of towns for supermarkets etc). We made full use of the BBQ and the aircon during our August stay. We were also regular visitors to Kosta's where we received a warm welcome and delicious food. Antoni, Eva and Antoni's mum go out of their way to welcome their guests with an amazing cake and a generous selection of fruit and veg along with advice about what you might like to do in Crete. I don't think I have ever stayed in a villa where the owners seem to have thought of everything! It was very hard to leave and return to the real world.”

“This villa was perfect for our two week family holiday. The villa itself is spacious, spotlessly clean and well equipped. Stella and her team made us very welcome with supplies in the fridge when we arrived and a few delicious gifts from the bakery during our stay. The pool was pefect for our two young children (7 & 9). The pool house and veranda provides shade all day. The location is right on the edge of the village with virtually no passing traffic. You can easily walk to a wide variety of tavernas, shops and the beach. We hired a car which we would recommend so that you can explore this beautiful region. This villa is highly recommended. We will definitely be returning to Crete again. ”

“Spent 2 fantastic weeks at Mouri Villa, enjoying eating/BBQing at home or dining out locally. The villa looks a bit out-of-the way, but worth it for the location. Once you get used to the route, the National Road is only 15 mins away. Definitely need a car to get about, as you are well placed for Kissamos, and visiting the south towns and beaches of Elafonisi and Paleochora (stunning beaches and sunsets) Recommended trips - Agia Sofia, Topolia Gorge (if Samaria seems a bit too epic), boat trips to Gramvousa and Balos Bay, Falasarna beach, and Chania. The villa is very clean and well kept, with wi-fi, A/C and an unheated pool that was very refreshing in the summer heat. Table-tennis was a very big hit with the teenagers. Owners Mikelios (?) and wife made us very welcome and brought food every time they came. General location/facilities - not much happening in Mouri (a few walks), some small mini-markets and taverns along road to Kissamos, where you will find a few good supermarkets and quite a few shops. Tavern in Kaloudiana (opposite big tree at T-junction) very good, as are the taverns on the beach front at Kissamos. Definitely would recommend the villa to a family/group - just remember to arrange car hire.”

“We feel that we will only be repeating the comments of others who have stayed here, but it truly lives up to expectations. From the villas location, to the superb facilities throughout, we honestly could not find fault, and had a brilliant holiday with every comfort you could wish for. To be met at the villa with local goods, to chat with the owner and be given a few local tips as where to visit and eat, was a really nice touch,(thank you Stella).<br><br> As a family, with four teenagers, the location worked for everyone, with ample space to relax around the pool, or stroll down to the beach.<br><br> This was the first time that we didn't hire a car on holiday, and we pre booked a mini bus from the airport both ways, and used the superb, air-conditioned coaches to visit Chania, which is a beautiful day/night out.<br><br> Our holiday was a total success, although we could have stayed a lot longer! We hope to return again, and would recommend this wonderful home to allow you to enjoy your Greek holiday.”

“This is a magical place on the island of Apollo. The crystal clear waters, the serenity and purity of the mountains, the fine architecture and interior design of the villa itself all add up to an idyllic experience. Management team was responsive. All you need is a car to get there and get around a bit. Otherwise it is an oasis of beauty away from the world. ”

“The villa was perfect and very well looked after with a cleaning service twice a week. The kitchen was well stocked and we loved using the outside BBQ. The pool was clean and warm - my 4 year old son was swimming by the time we left. All the bedrooms have ensuite facilities and balconies. It's a great spot if you want to get away from it all with a beautiful view. If you want to go exploring its easy to check out the south west of the island which is unspoilt with stunning coastlines and sunsets. Despina and Manos were incredibly hospitable and had thought of everything to make our holiday as relaxing as possible. I'd recommend this villa to all my friends and family and would go back in a heart beat. A wonderful 2 weeks - thank you so much!!! ”

“I stayed in margarita villa 2 in June 2014 with my partner and 2 children we had an amazing week the villa was everything we expected and more. We arrived late in the evening and margarita was there to greet us. We will definitely be returning to this villa we have stayed In a few villas in Crete but this one is by far the best. The children enjoyed themselves we had a very relaxing luxurious week in this villa, highly recommended!! ”

“Chania Rentals have been the most efficient and helpful rental firm, answering questions and making recommendations by return emails. Maleme Villa is fantastic...perfect for our holiday with teenagers and young adults. Very clean, well equipped and wonderfully kept swimming pool.Everything you need in walking distance;beach, tavernas,bus stop and supermarket. Easy to use buses, and fun to hire bikes too. Lovely treats from owner on arrival, and wonderful to have cleaner midweek. Highly recommend it...we shall return!”
