“The villa was everything we hoped, beautiful, spacious and in wonderful setting. Our only criticism is that there was no holiday file - information on everything in the villa, good local restaurants, beaches and shops would have been v. helpful, also other visitors comments on places. We didnt feel it enough to just hear from the owner. The owner was marvellous in sorting out our last day's accomodation as our flight was late evening. The pool with the children's end was fantastic ”
“We stayed in Remvi Villa 9 girls for 11 days We had a lovely stay and lot of memories that we will cherish forever. The Villa was over all very good. The view from the Villa are truly stunning because the villa is situated at the top of a hill, it afforded huge panoramic view over the ocean, the village and the mountains ....which even the local taxi drivers found breath taking! The sundeck and the swimming pool is very nice and clean, lot of sunbeds We would not hesitate to recommend this villa, and would definitely stay here again. You do not need a car if you like to walk, you can easily walk down the hill and it is a good exercise to walk up the hill and you can also just call a taxi we did that sometimes. But we recommend car for people how can not walk. The Cleaning service was changing the bed linen and the towels but no other cleaning during our stay in the Villa.
The bedrooms are fine some of them are small but you dont need big rooms, 2 rooms are with no doors so you do not have good privacy if you are staying in the Villa with many couples. It did not bother us the girls. There are 3 bathrooms. The Living room on the second floor is very nice and the kitchen are especially big and spacious. We ate out most nights, there are lot of nice restaurants. It was very nice to go to Amethystos restaurant just down the hill, it is a family restaurant where the mother cooked, the father made the wine and the kids served, we often went there to buy the fathers red wine. ”
“Margarita Villas are in one of the most beautiful and unique locations on Crete - you can enjoy the Ocean and Mountain Views while still surrounded by groves of fresh oranges, olives and MORE - with ABSOLUTE PRIVACY and a private gate to the villas TOO! The location is centrally located between two of the most beautiful tourist, popular beach locations in Crete (Chania and Platanias).

The family is absolutely amazing! Margarita and her wonderful family absolutely made the trip one of the best vacations we have ever enjoyed. She strived to make our stay wonderful from conceirge advice to fresh eggs and produce from the organic gardens which are next to each villa - you are free to enjoy the gardens - we certainly did!!!

The villas are brand new - smell and feel new. Very Very clean and High end custom detail in every corner of each room - we felt like we were in the nicest place on the island for a very very good price too!

Thank you for such a great vacation and trip - can not wait to come next year! HIGHLY RECOMMEND ... ”
“We had a perfect stay in this great villa, with awesome poolarea, view, service and decorations!! Thank you so much for this wonderful holidays!! We cant hear any noise from the highway or something like this. We'll come back again. ”
“We were spending 11 days in this fantastic villa with the family of friends - total 8 persons, 4 adults and 4 children (ages 11,11, 13 and 16). I have no words to describe how wonderful this place really was. Everything was just perfect and I have to thank all the other reviewers - it was one of the reasons we decided to rent this villa. I have to thank Chania-Rentals as well, because they did a wonderful job and service was quick and friendly.

The biggest thanks goes - of course - to Margarita and her family. Your warm welcome, your hospitality and kindness were something that we have never experienced in Greece before, what comes to an accommodation and everything that is related to that. Generally speaking people in Greece are always really friendly.

I warmly recommend this property to everybody. You will not be disappointed.”
“we had a lovely two weeks at this villa. The pool and villa were spotless and the surrounding olive groves made for a very peaceful time.”
“The location of villa Clio is great. Short 5 min drive to beautiful little beach in Tersanas . Sunsets viewed from villa amazing. Would highly recommend this villa as has everything you need and owner is so very helpful. Lots of space etc. ”
“Another fabulous holiday in Crete - and the property was perfect. Clean, well equipped, great position - sun all day and evening (sunset was wonderful!), near Maza (5min walk) where there's a Taverna which is great, and near to good routes. Vrysses is very close (5mins by car) and is a lovely town with an amazing patisserie, good supermarket and lovely tavernas. We had a lovely holiday and will be back. A special thank you to the owner Giorgas who was very hospitable and even cooked some treats for us and let the boys ride the pony at the farm.”
“Stayed in mid May 2015 and we loved this villa. Decent location and wonderful views and pool. Really good weather too and quite sheltered from the wind. Lack of cutlery and saucepans was a problem but we were the first guests of the season so hopefully the owner has remedied this situation. The poolside terracing could be improved by laying a firm surface rather than loose stones. TV was excellent although tricky to plug an HDMI cable into it so could be improved by leaving one in there permanently for guests to use. We would have no hesitation in returning. A car is essential in our opinion.”
“Nicolas Villa is in a fantastic spot for soothing sunsets with splendid views over to Hania and very near to restaurants in Plaka. The owner came to find us because we could not find the villa in the dark which was very nice of him. The villa is dressed to impress but sadly is lacking in some basic facilities in the kitchen and is full of ad hoc crockery. More off putting was the stained toilet bowl and grubby bed pillows. After a bit of cleaning we felt more comfortable. We did have a nice time, but if you like your wine in nice glasses you need to supply your own! One tip, there is not much information about the area in villa but there is a tourist office in Vamos with some good suggestions on outings in the area. ”
“Myself and my family (7 of us in total) have recently returned from a fabulous holiday in Crete, where we stayed in the Villa Marina. The property is amazing, with excellent facilities, a wonderful pool and in the most amazing location, which is just 5 mins from Kalamaki beach and a short drive from the beautiful city of Chania. The owner, Maria and her husband, Iannis were both amazing hosts who could not do enough for us to ensure our holiday was a success. We arrived to a warm welcome from Maria, who very kindly provided a welcome pack with water, tea, coffee, fruit, etc, and later arrived with the most amazing home cooked chocolate cake, which went down very well with the whole family, including myself.

All on all this was an amazing holiday, in the most amazing villa, which cannot be recommended highly enough. I will definitely be returning in the future. ”
“We stayed at Gianna Villa for 2 weeks with our two young children (3 months and 2,5 years old) and enjoyed it very much. The swimming pool and garden are great. We stayed in the villa in May and the temperature of the pool water was very good (about 26 degrees). Near the pool there’s an outdoor shower. The terrace has a big roof now, so there was a lot of shade, which was very good with our young children. Kitchen and outside BBQ are very nice (big refrigerator in the kitchen!).

Bedrooms and beds are good, but the bathrooms are a little bit old. The shower in the en suite bathroom on the 1st floor caused a wet floor in the bedroom itself because of bad maintenance. The shower in the bathroom downstairs isn’t usable because there’s no shower curtain or something like that, so the whole bathroom (including the toilet) will be wet after a shower. So you had to take a shower in the bath of the bathroom on the first floor. Cleaning twice a week including fresh linen and cleaning of the pool. WIFI is working very well.

Gianna Villa is located near Vryses on the top off a hill. You will definitely need to hire a car if you are staying here and the steep hill leading to the villa is quite dramatic (definitely to be done in 1st gear!). But the panorama views from the villa are great. Beaches are just 10 minutes’ drive away.

So, a great villa in a great area of Crete! ”
