“Another fabulous holiday in Crete - and the property was perfect. Clean, well equipped, great position - sun all day and evening (sunset was wonderful!), near Maza (5min walk) where there's a Taverna which is great, and near to good routes. Vrysses is very close (5mins by car) and is a lovely town with an amazing patisserie, good supermarket and lovely tavernas. We had a lovely holiday and will be back. A special thank you to the owner Giorgas who was very hospitable and even cooked some treats for us and let the boys ride the pony at the farm.”
“The location of villa Clio is great. Short 5 min drive to beautiful little beach in Tersanas . Sunsets viewed from villa amazing. Would highly recommend this villa as has everything you need and owner is so very helpful. Lots of space etc. ”
“Stayed in mid May 2015 and we loved this villa. Decent location and wonderful views and pool. Really good weather too and quite sheltered from the wind. Lack of cutlery and saucepans was a problem but we were the first guests of the season so hopefully the owner has remedied this situation. The poolside terracing could be improved by laying a firm surface rather than loose stones. TV was excellent although tricky to plug an HDMI cable into it so could be improved by leaving one in there permanently for guests to use. We would have no hesitation in returning. A car is essential in our opinion.”
“Nicolas Villa is in a fantastic spot for soothing sunsets with splendid views over to Hania and very near to restaurants in Plaka. The owner came to find us because we could not find the villa in the dark which was very nice of him. The villa is dressed to impress but sadly is lacking in some basic facilities in the kitchen and is full of ad hoc crockery. More off putting was the stained toilet bowl and grubby bed pillows. After a bit of cleaning we felt more comfortable. We did have a nice time, but if you like your wine in nice glasses you need to supply your own! One tip, there is not much information about the area in villa but there is a tourist office in Vamos with some good suggestions on outings in the area. ”
“Myself and my family (7 of us in total) have recently returned from a fabulous holiday in Crete, where we stayed in the Villa Marina. The property is amazing, with excellent facilities, a wonderful pool and in the most amazing location, which is just 5 mins from Kalamaki beach and a short drive from the beautiful city of Chania. The owner, Maria and her husband, Iannis were both amazing hosts who could not do enough for us to ensure our holiday was a success. We arrived to a warm welcome from Maria, who very kindly provided a welcome pack with water, tea, coffee, fruit, etc, and later arrived with the most amazing home cooked chocolate cake, which went down very well with the whole family, including myself.

All on all this was an amazing holiday, in the most amazing villa, which cannot be recommended highly enough. I will definitely be returning in the future. ”
“The villa was very clean and the owners were very kind and welcoming. We had a great stay at the Adriana villa.”
“We stayed at Gianna Villa for 2 weeks with our two young children (3 months and 2,5 years old) and enjoyed it very much. The swimming pool and garden are great. We stayed in the villa in May and the temperature of the pool water was very good (about 26 degrees). Near the pool there’s an outdoor shower. The terrace has a big roof now, so there was a lot of shade, which was very good with our young children. Kitchen and outside BBQ are very nice (big refrigerator in the kitchen!).

Bedrooms and beds are good, but the bathrooms are a little bit old. The shower in the en suite bathroom on the 1st floor caused a wet floor in the bedroom itself because of bad maintenance. The shower in the bathroom downstairs isn’t usable because there’s no shower curtain or something like that, so the whole bathroom (including the toilet) will be wet after a shower. So you had to take a shower in the bath of the bathroom on the first floor. Cleaning twice a week including fresh linen and cleaning of the pool. WIFI is working very well.

Gianna Villa is located near Vryses on the top off a hill. You will definitely need to hire a car if you are staying here and the steep hill leading to the villa is quite dramatic (definitely to be done in 1st gear!). But the panorama views from the villa are great. Beaches are just 10 minutes’ drive away.

So, a great villa in a great area of Crete! ”
“Dionysus Villa is beautiful, airy, bright and spacious and very well equipped. My husband and I were made to feel very welcome by Katerina and her family and the delicious good she cooked for us regularly was the best food we ate whilst in kalyves. There are lovely views from the villa and it's a very short walk in to Kalyves from there. We enjoyed our holiday very much and we were very grateful of the warm and generous hospitality which Katerina afforded us. ”
“We are a family of four and we and another family rented the house together. Totally brilliant property for this arrangement. The villa is in excellent order, everything we needed was there. Amazing setting in the heart of the olive groves with a great view out to sea and towards the headland. Very good setting to explore the region. Manos, the owner was brilliant. He came every morning so we knew we could find if we needed him and so welcoming. We had Raki on arrival and his Mums home made moussaka. Delicious. Would recommend this property whole heatedly.”
“Beautiful villa, lovely private garden with decent pool and in a lovely area. Would recommend a car, but the local village is within easy walking distance with supermarket, cafes and the beach nearby. The bed is a little hard for our tastes, but that was the only imperfect point. The cooking facilities are very basic, but as eating out is so convenient and cheap, it wasn't a problem. Very friendly people, everyone speaks English and they make you feel very welcome. The villa is cleaned a couple of times a week, with fresh towels and linen. The pool is cleaned every morning. Nearby Platanias has all the tourist facilites you could want and a wide range of excellent restaurants. Samaria Gorge and Balos lagoon are must do trips. All in all a wonderful getaway, had a wonderfull time and would readily recomment this villa to any couple. ”
“Dias Villa was obviously designed and built with a great deal of thought and care. The views from the various balconies wrapped around the villa and the terraces were spectacular, whether watching sunrise or sunset or relaxing in the sun during the day. This was our first visit to Crete and we very much appreciated the warm welcome, finding everyone we met extremely helpful and friendly. Maleme was perfectly situated just a few minutes drive away with a good choice of shops for those self-catering, although we loved leaving the holiday makers crammed around their hotel pools on the beach front and returning to the privacy of our own pool, in such a peaceful and beautiful setting. We would highly recommend Dias Villa. ”
“We stayed there end of may 2015, with four adults and one baby. Everything was nice; the location, the welcome, the villa, the pool etc etc. Especially the location because the house is close to the beach and Chania but also to nature (the mountains are beautiful, the roads good to drive and in may you almost have the roads for yourself) So we recommend this villa very much!”
