“This beautiful villa is ideal for anyone wanting either a relaxing or a busy stay in Crete. The villa is a 5 minute drive to the beach and local restaurants and shops or a 15 minute drive into Chania but is an oasis of peace. We were a party of 6 adults and the villa provided privacy for all of us in beautifully clean rooms all with en suites. We ventured into Chania a few of times and ate a couple of times at local hotels but otherwise spent our time at the villa - it was hard to drag ourselves away! A lovely pool and balconies or terraces with tables and chairs off all the rooms all with fantastic views.<br><br> As the other reviewers mention, Margarita is lovely, never intrusive but available if needed. We have had many villa holidays and this was one of the best and also great value for money. Do go - you'll love it!”

“We had the most beautiful holiday in Villa Dionysus ever in Crete. The villa was well equipped and spacious for four persons. The location was good: tavernas and a big supermarket were near and the surrounding area was very quiet. We had rented a car so it was easy to explore other villages, beaches and Chania. The hostcouple Katerine and George made our stay memorable: their hospitality was something we have never experienced before. Katerine brought some creek food for us several times and the food was even better than any restaurants we visited. It feels they really wanted to take a good care of their visitors. We raelly recommend the villa for everyone who are bored to spend the holiday in hotels ;)”

“Was für ein wunderschönes und komfortables Haus in mitten von Olivenbaum-Hainen. Wir haben hier die schönesten und erholsamsten Ferien seit langem verlebt. Das Haus läßt keine Wünsche offen. Es ist mit allem ausgestattet, um sich gleich wie zu Hause zu fühlen und ist sichlich mit Liebe und Geschmack eingerichtet worden. Es liegt ganz wunderbar in den Hügel oberhalb von Xirokampi mit einem wunderschönen Blick aufs Meer und war für uns der ideale Ausgangspunkt für Erkundungstouren des westlichen Kreta. Vielen Dank an Stella und ihren Mann, die sich so wunderbar um uns gekümmert haben und immer einen guten Tip für einen einsamen Strand oder ein gutes Restaurant hatten. Danke. Danke auch an Chania Rentals für die schnelle und unkomplizierte Buchung. Obwohl wir jedes Jahr ein anderes Land besuchen, überlegen wir, nächstes Jahr wieder nach Kreta in die Io Villa zurück zu kehren. Gibt es etwas besseres zu sagen als das. ”

“Our family of four stayed for a week in June. The villa is beautiful, new, and clean. The view of the ocean and surrounding hills is spectacular. Our 15 year old stayed in the apartment downstairs and loved having his own place. We were only a short drive to the beach and after a couple of days had no problem navigating our way to various destinations. I loved coming &quot;home&quot; every afternoon after a long day of sightseeing and beach fun. The kids loved the pool and I loved the peace and quiet! Thank you for an amazing first visit to Crete! “Our family (10 adults, 1 child, 1 baby) rented Villa Elbexx for 1 week in June, and it was fantastic. The booking process was simple, car hire was straightforward, and the villa was wonderful: spotlessly clean, extremely high standard, lovely isolated location yet near to amenities. Chrissie (the owner) and her family and staff were welcoming and helpful - for example, the local area had a problem with hot water, and they came immediately to check it out and turn on the back up system. We couldn't fault the villa, and would definitely come back again. ”

“A ideal holiday house. Designed for relaxation. Modern interior with all the appliances you may need. This house is an idea starting point for sightseeing not far from the mountains and the coastline. Wonderful to have a sandy beach for morning swims and we made the most of the pool area for relaxing and to cool off . The owner was extremely helpful and ready to help with any request. TOP SCORE ”

“We had wonderful ten days in Kalives at the Calma Seaside Villa. The villa offers everything you need and is really baeutiful. The owner was very nice giving us good recommendations and gave us very nice welcome presents (fruit wonderful olive oil and obviously a small bottle of Raki). In addition someone came cleaning twice the villa during the ten days (which was included in the price). In a short walking distance you have very nice Tavernas and the supermarket is less than five minutes walk. <br> Perfect holidays and we would be more than happy to come back! “We stayed at Villa Calypso for almost 2 weeks. The house is perfect. The pool is great, the Barbecue area near the pool is very pleasant. We had a wonderful time in the house. The daughter’s owner and its entire family were very welcoming and nice too us.<br> The villa was extremely well equipped with everything that was needed to cook. The owners also brought us a blender for fresh fruit juices every morning. The rooms were very clean and the house seems to be brand new (we were the first one to rent) with modern furnishings<br> The pool was very pleasant and cleaned every day early in the morning. We had plenty of room inside.<br> The house is near Almerida beach which is very pleasant to have a drink front of the sea and Kalyves which has very good restaurants.<br> I really recommend you this house which is very relaxing as it was surrounded by nature.<br><br> Nous sommes restés dans la Villa Calypso pendant près de deux semaines. La maison est parfaite. La piscine est super, l’aire barbecue près de la piscine est très agréable. Nous avons passé des moments très agréables dans la maison. La fille du propriétaire et toute sa famille étaient très accueillants et sympathiques avec nous.<br> La villa était extrêmement bien équipée avec tout ce qui était nécessaire pour cuisiner. Les propriétaires nous ont également apporté un Blender pour faire des jus de fruits frais chaque matin.<br> Les chambres étaient très propres et la maison semblait être toute neuve (nous étions le premier à la louer) avec un mobilier moderne.<br> La piscine était très agréable et nettoyée tous les jours tôt le matin. Nous avions beaucoup d'espace à l'intérieur.<br> La maison est près de la plage d’Almerida qui est très agréable pour prendre un verre au bord de la mer et de Kalyves qui a de très bons restaurants. Je vous recommande vraiment cette maison qui est très relaxante car entourée par la nature. ”

“Nous avons passé 10 jours super dans cette belle villa spacieuse où l' on peut profiter d'une piscine, d'un jaccuzzi, d'un barbecue...Séjour reposant dans un petit village en pleine nature. Merci à Michel qui est très accueillant et nous a fait profiter des bons produits de son jardin. Nous conseillons vivement ce petit coin de campagne comme lieu de vacances.”

“The villa was everything we hoped, beautiful, spacious and in wonderful setting. Our only criticism is that there was no holiday file - information on everything in the villa, good local restaurants, beaches and shops would have been v. helpful, also other visitors comments on places. We didnt feel it enough to just hear from the owner. The owner was marvellous in sorting out our last day's accomodation as our flight was late evening. The pool with the children's end was fantastic ”

“We stayed in Remvi Villa 9 girls for 11 days We had a lovely stay and lot of memories that we will cherish forever. The Villa was over all very good. The view from the Villa are truly stunning because the villa is situated at the top of a hill, it afforded huge panoramic view over the ocean, the village and the mountains ....which even the local taxi drivers found breath taking! The sundeck and the swimming pool is very nice and clean, lot of sunbeds We would not hesitate to recommend this villa, and would definitely stay here again. You do not need a car if you like to walk, you can easily walk down the hill and it is a good exercise to walk up the hill and you can also just call a taxi we did that sometimes. But we recommend car for people how can not walk. The Cleaning service was changing the bed linen and the towels but no other cleaning during our stay in the Villa.<br> The bedrooms are fine some of them are small but you dont need big rooms, 2 rooms are with no doors so you do not have good privacy if you are staying in the Villa with many couples. It did not bother us the girls. There are 3 bathrooms. The Living room on the second floor is very nice and the kitchen are especially big and spacious. We ate out most nights, there are lot of nice restaurants. It was very nice to go to Amethystos restaurant just down the hill, it is a family restaurant where the mother cooked, the father made the wine and the kids served, we often went there to buy the fathers red wine. ”
