“We have just come back from a week at Metochi Villa. The photos do not do it justice; the views are spectacular, the villa is extremely well appointed and the pool was a good size. Everything was very clean. Manos very kindly drove out to meet us because our flight was delayed and we could not locate the villa in the dark. He and Despina were both helpful with advice about places to go and the best beaches. We loved the roof terrace which had a good breeze even on the hottest of days, and also the location up on the hillside not overlooked by any other properties. We would highly recommend the villa and would love to come back for another stay.”

“Our trip started with the stunning services of Chania-Rentals, what a fantastic services they offer.<br><br> The villa is simply amazing, everything is luxury and stunning. <br><br> The road to the villa is through a plantage of oliven trees, a bumpy ride and gave som scratches in the rental car. The way from the house to the city is simply to long and hard to walk.<br><br> The house offered everything you could imagine and the services from the owner is the best we ever have experienced in a vacation. We had some minor difficulties but everything was solved in very very shot time, even if we talk to them at evenings.<br><br> The pool, the views, the sourrounding, the people around the house everything is just amazing ....<br><br> The cleaning is a story for it self, the house is totally cleaned 2 times a week, we are NOT talking light cleaning, but a totally cleaning from a->z, 6 hours cleaning two times every week - wow!<br><br> I will give the house our deepest recormandation, you will not regret! ”

“This was my first stay in Crete and what a start to the holiday. This a superb villa if you want a &quot;get away from it&quot; all holiday. It is not in the centre of a resort with the noise and bustle that entails but for a relaxing break the Dias Villa is ideal. The owners who live very near are charming and couldn't do enough for us including providing us with the best moussaka i have ever tasted.<br><br> The beds were comfortable and the rooms were spacious and airconditioned. There was also WiFi which was even effective at the pool side and not just a weak add on. The facilities outside were extraordinary as you could eat in three locations with tables and chairs and pull lemons off the trees.<br><br> This was the best villa I have stayed in at a very reasonable price. ”

“On arriving at the villa we were all blown away with how nice it was and the landscape and view surrounding it. The villa was excellently equipped with everything you could possibly need including an outside bbq area which we used on multiple occasions. With our flight arriving at an unsociable hour it was highly appreciated that the owner was there to meet us, the fridge had water in and a fruit bowl was left full. Be aware the villa is quite far away from things and so a moped or car is recommended. Overall amazing villa with stunning views and great pool and outdoor space!”

“We have just come back from a wonderful two weeks in Villa Joseph. The villa itself - is clean, well laid out with fantastic views of Lake Kournas and the sea. Outside - The gardens are beautiful with lovely flowers and green grass, and a fantastic swimming pool, and the childrens area was a welcome addition. The daily round up of the goats next door added to the charm of the locality.<br><br> The hospitality of the owner Giannis made us feel so welcome without intruding on our privacy, with deliveries of fresh fruit and presents for our daughter. Lake Kournas itself is beautiful and serene- and there is lots to see and do in the area, or do as little as you like!<br><br> if you want a holiday with a welcoming villa, amazing views, lovely tavernas down the road and every opportunity to relax then look no further. We will come back soon NB would also recommend the car hire service as the queues at the airport for other operators was at least an hour, whereas we were met at the gate.”

“Wenn man die gut beschriebene Abfahrt in Maleme gefunden hat, geht es einfach immer geradeaus den Berg hoch, die letzten Meter unbefestigte Strasse dann findet man die Schilder zu den Drys Villas. Das geht zwar auch mit Navi, das führt einen aber gerne mal den direkten Weg durch die Oliven. Dort wartet dann Manos und zeigt einem das Paradies. Das Haus ist traumhaft gelegen, man hört nichts, nur Olivenbäume und Ruhe. Das ist uns sehr wichtig, Motorsägen, Motorräder, Hundgebell, alles das, was einem den Urlaub verleiden kann, gibt es hier nicht. Traumhafte Sicht über die Oliven bis zum Meer. Ãœberall Terrassen, abends auf der Dachterrasse, sehr entspannend.<br><br> Das Haus , der Pool, der Garten, alles blitzsauber, Manos, der Besitzer, ist äusserst hilfsbereit, die Bettwäsche und Handtücher werden nach 4Tagen gewechselt, eine weitere Flasche des guten Hausweins steht dann auch bereit. Inka und Lidl Süpermärkte sind sehr gut erreichbar, auch einige Bäckereien sind gleich unten im Ort.<br><br> Wir werden diese Villa und auch Chania Rentals weiterempfehlen und auch selbst gerne wiederkommen. “We stayed here for two weeks and had an amazing time and couldn't recommend this place enough.<br><br> The Area: Down and up the hill and off the main road by Vulgaro. If you haven't visited Crete, it would seem to be on the less-commercial, less touristy side of the island, but still with all the things you would want, but without the lights and british food places you get in many resorts. This is definitely not a resort. Mauro (where the villa is situated), is barely a village and it is 5-10 minutes drive to the nearest town.<br><br> The Location: The place is beautiful, outstanding views, two separate houses, perfect if going with friends or family. The eating area is well covered so you can eat in the shade. The swimming pool and Jacuzzi are up the stairs so you don't have to worry about small kids going in by themselves.<br><br> The Host: Michalis the owner of the property was a superb host. He popped in to change linen, tidy the pool and give more feed to the chickens. He was extremely generous and gave us some great suggestions for places to visit locally which were perfect for the toddlers and us.<br><br> The Chickens: We fed them the leftovers (except meat) and they rewarded us with fresh eggs everyday. So much so, we couldn't get through them all.<br><br> I don't normally write reviews and some may say I shouldn't start, but felt that the more reviews the better. I am sure if your number fit the rooms; the location and proximity to the nearby towns, beaches and tourist sites will provide you an exceptional holiday. ”

“Our family of four stayed at the villa for 2 weeks in May and had a wonderful time. The old Olive Mill is very conveniently located for exploring town and beaches.<br><br> The accommodation is very clean, well equipped and comfortable. We were warmly welcomed by the owners who were extremely kind considerate and respectful of our privacy.<br><br> Altogether it was a fabulous holiday in a lovely location. <br><br> ”

“Have just come back from a lovely Holiday at the Reverie Villa, absolutely beautiful Villa, amazing views and the pool was a good size in a lovely setting. It has everything you need. set in a peaceful enviroment. It is a bit of a hill to walk up and down into Stalos but worth it. Lots of good taverna's round there. Leventis a traditional Greek restaurant set in the hills is a must and the Iris cafe bar down on the front main strip was my favourite. The food was stunning some very different dishes here.”
