“We stayed in Almyros villa for 1 week in September and we absolutely loved everything about it! There were 10 of us (8 adults and 2 children) staying in the house and still the house felt very spacious. The outside areas are amazing. Especialy the pool area which has everything you need for a nice relaxing time. It's even more beautiful than what it looks like in the pictures. There is a huge dining table, so no problems for everyone to sit down together for dinner. The house is clean and well looked after. The location feels secluded and private but still it's not far away from Georgioupolis. We walked in to the village every morning to get freshly baked bread. It's about a 1 km walk. You need to cross the main road but we didn't have any problems with that. One night the whole family walked to the vilage to have dinner and then we took a taxi home in the evening.

Chrissy who met us there when we arrived made us feel very welcome and made it very clear from the beginning, that any querries, problems or even if we were just looking for some local advice.. that we should not hesitate to call! We even got to keep the house for the whole day on the day of departure due to the house not being booked up the following week which was a great bonus since we had an evening flight!!

We would definitely recommend anyone to stay here, everything from start to finish was perfect...we only wish we could have stayed forever!”
“We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Konstantinos Villa. Comfortable and very well equipped inc washing machine and dish washer. Lovely dining terrace and a large garden with a good sized pool. Delightful rural location surrounded by farmland and having stunning panoramic views of the mountains. Don't forget to buy some carrots and apples for the horse in the paddock opposite! Just a 5 minute stroll to Maza village centre and Kostas's family run Caferion where you can experience wonderful traditional Cretan hospitality and quality freshly cooked food.

The riverside village of Vrisses is only 8 minutes by car and has numerous shops, tavernas including bakeries and supermarkets. The beach at Georgioupolis is about a 12 minute drive and the nearest major centres are Rhythmon 30 minutes and Chania 45 minutes. The south coast (Hora Sfakion) is a 50 minute drive. The villa is an excellent base for exploring the whole of the Rhythmon region. We will certainly be returning ”
“Paradise! Beautiful home, location, perfect hosts. The photographs do not lie. I would highly recommend this Villa, it suited our family, we took our children ages 5 and 7. The pool was great for them as it has a shallow end. Thank you Katerina and George, you were the ultimate hosts, we loved trying your homemade food and wine etc and felt utterly spoiled. You totally charmed our children. Everything was clean, it was lovely to have the pool cleaned every 2 days too. I do hope we can come back soon.”
“This was our second time in Villa Yasemi and the owners welcomed us back with a delicious homemade meal, which we were so grateful for having been up since 3 am!

The villa is spacious and well-equipped. The children particularly appreciated both the Wi-fi and the Playstation 3! The pool overlooks the mountains and every night we enjoyed spectacular sunsets with a glass of wine or Mythos/Alpha from the big balcony area. We do agree with some reviews that the pool area could do with weeding but it was not a serious concern for us.

The villa is in walking distance from Maleme but we definitely recommend a car, which we hired through Chania Rentals and had no issues with. This will enable you to go further to try out the many wonderful restaurants in the area. The local supermarket in Maleme (Inka) has everything you need.

The owners are extremely friendly but will respect your privacy and the cleaning lady does a great job and speaks good English. We will most certainly return to Villa Yasemi in the future”
“We had spotted this villa last year when staying at a smaller house in the same village so we did know what to expect. We had a wonderful time and pretty much everything was perfect. Lovely pool, plenty of space to sit outside to relax and to eat.

Very comfortable bed (there were just 2 of us in 3 bed villa!) and excellent frequent cleaning service. 2 good bathrooms. Nice kitchen - although as we rarely go out to eat we would have liked a bigger choice of saucepans but thats a tiny quibble and we managed fine.

We ate the prickly pears from the garden with yoghurt every morning for breakfast - having got the knack last year of avoiding the nasty spines on them. The smell of the jasmine and the frangipani in the garden was also lovely.

We managed without a car - with a small but excellent shop a 10 minute walk away , the main village about 20 minutes walk and the bus stop 10 minute walk with a fantastic bus service - with the last bus back from Kolymbari (and great fish restaurant) well after midnight.

Highly recommended.”
“Villa Stella is a haven of tranquillity and relaxation. This is a traditional house. We have stayed with 4 adults but there is plenty of space for 6. The pool is large and set amongst fruit trees and totally secluded. There are terraces and balconies and all sorts of nooks and crannies to sit in the sun or the shade. There is a brick bbq with its own table and chairs alongside if you don't fancy the short stroll to the sea front where there are plenty of places to eat: try Ageri and The Wave for good food and a warm welcome. We love the house with its wooden floors and large windows. It is very light and airy.

You will be met by the very friendly owner Nikos and his wife. They can't do enough to make sure your stay is pleasant and relaxing although they would never intrude. The welcome pack and water and juices in the fridge are just what you need on arrival. The house and pool are cleaned to the very highest standard.

We have stayed here many times and cannot recommend it enough.”
“Prachtig huis erg schoon! Eigenaar erg aardig en zorgt voor het zwembad. Hij kwam elke keer wat lekkers brengen en toen we aankwamen was de koelkast gevuld met eten en drinken. Rond de villa lopen geiten maar dat is niet storend. Super naar ons zin gehad. ”
“Stayed at this fantastic villa august 2016, the villa was immaculate, with everything you could need, very clean and well equipped, beautiful setting, totally secluded but only 5 minutes from Malame and 10 minutes from Platanias (by car), a car is essential though. the veiw from the villa is to die for and the pool and outside eating area is fantastic, even did a sunday roast!

3 bedrooms each with their own bathroom and 4th bathroom just off the lounge. would 100% recommend the villa and would definately go back again.”
“Highly recommended - villa was spotlessly clean and had everything you needed. It had the peaceful feeling of being in the middle of nowhere but was incredibly convenient for shops and restaurants, either by car or taxi.

Margarita and her family couldn't do enough for you and went the extra mile to make our holiday as enjoyable as it could be, from the fresh eggs and organic vegetables delivered daily, to recommendations for superb restaurants, shops and places to visit.

We will definitely be returning to these beautiful villas on this beautiful Island. ”
“What a fantastic week our family enjoyed staying at the Sea Queen Villa. It was a special time for us with family members (grandparents to young children) coming from many parts of the world to spend time together. Everyone had their own space enjoying comfortable bedrooms with their own bathrooms, coming together in the comfortable living and outside area by the pool. While there was much to see in the area, the villa was such a pleasure it was hard to leave even to go to the beach.

Michael was on hand with a warm welcome, showed us around and gave us pointers as to where to go, were to eat and how to get around without a car - thank you and much appreciated. Other members of our family are now trying to work out how they can enjoy the delights of Chania and the Sea Queen Villa.”
“The reality is even better than the description and the pictures. I would live there for sure. To be really recommended. Margarita is a wonderful host and her houses little jewels. Bedrooms look like 4star hotel rooms. The house is fully cleaned after 3 days and all towels and linen refreshed...you may eat bio vegetables from the garden and have fresh eggs from the property chickens. Beach and shops only 5 min driving away. Chania 10min driving.
Don t hesitate to book it and stay there to visit the beatiful Western part of Creta. ”
“We stayed at Elbexx Villa from July 24th to August 14th with friends and family at we had a fabulous time. The owners were very nice and extremely helpful whenever we needed anything or any advice on what to do and where to eat. The villa looks newly renovated, is very spacious and comfortable, very clean (the cleaning lady came at least twice a week to clean thoroughly), and has all the needed amenities. The gardens, the terrace, the pool area are beautiful and we spent many nights having dinner outside. Since there is a breeze almost all the time, the evenings outside are very enjoyable and there are no mosquitos. The villa is a 2 minute drive to the village where you can find all your shopping needs, and is also very close to a few nice restaurants/tavernas. It is also centrally located to visit Rethymno as well as Chania, and 1 to 2 hour drive to some of the best beaches in Crete. I highly recommend this villa.”
