“From our hearts, THANK you Caterina and family for giving us a real Greek experience and an amazing holiday in your fantastic villa. The villa is top class and has got everything you need. The design, interior and furniture is amazing. The 180 degrees ocean view is to die for and so lovely. We really like that there are nice sun beds and top nice garden furnitures. When we arrived Catherina had cooked us delicious home made Greek food and left the fridge filled with feta, Vegetables, juice, olive oil and much more. Amazing to be welcomed in such a way. Late in the week suddenly there was a small surprise food bag and raki on our door step with amazing Greek home cooked food. <br><br>The villa has got plenty of towels, shampoo and cleaning articles. We felt so welcome and had an amazing week. Around the villa there are olive trees and fruit trees to pick from. The beach is 3 min away, down the small hill (use the path next to the local Greek restaurant) and super marked is 300 meters away down the hill. Also we found the best restaurants in town just down the hill. Try the restaurant right next to the beach, very informal and looks like “nothing”, they cook homemade greek food and grow their own vegetables. It takes 15 min to walk to down town, however we liked best the restaurants close to the house. We can warmly recommend villa Dionysus, we had the best holiday ever. “We had a great holiday at Villa Danae, the communication with Chania Rentals from first enquiry thru to booking was excellent, all questions answered quickly. We met the owner Kyriakos at the meeting point about 5 minutes from the villa who then shown us the way through the village and olive groves, which was a nice and easy drive. Kyriakos was very easy to talk to and gave us some ideas of places to visit.<br><br> The property itself was very clean, well-appointed with everything that you could possibly need including a small safe which we made use of. The TV is a flat screen and not an older CRT as in the photos. The villa is located in a secluded, peaceful and relaxing spot with views down to sea. The pool was nice and warm, good for day/night swimming, and the cleaning system keeps it very clean apart from a few leaves. Kyriakos comes once a week to check and clean the pool and a maid to clean the villa. On the terrace there were sun loungers and various tables and chairs giving options for dining/relaxing in the sun or shade. <br><br> The INKA supermarket in Maleme is pretty good, never very busy and always got a parking spot there, also there is a Lidl close by.<br><br> We visited Chania quite a few times. The Catholic Church service is at 10am on Sunday, then lunch at one of the restaurants overlooking the harbour.<br><br> I honestly don't have a bad word to say about our experience only that I wished it could have lasted much longer! ”

“When we arrived at Joseph Villa the owner Giannis was there to give us a warm welcome, the fridge was well stacked with food and there were many sweets and fresh fruits for us.<br><br> He was very kind and showed us the whole location. And, what could I say, the villa, the garden the surroundings at all and the view over Kournas lake and the beachfront of Kavros were outstanding and overwhelming. The pool was fantastic, every day- or night-time. To stay in the villa is so private and individual you would never get to know in a hotel with All-In.<br><br> The villa was well equipped, all furniture and culinary implements you need are there. The only thing to criticize was the bathroom at ground floor. You could not take a shower without spatter the whole bathroom with water. So what? Doesn´t matter. We arranged showering in the bathroom upstairs, lovely.<br><br> I would also like to thank chania rentals here in particular Mr. Artemis who was a competent and helpful employee. He made very good work in administration. We hired a car through chania rentals we only could recommended. it was a diesel car and there was plenty of room for four people and luggage.<br><br> This holiday was our sixt stay at crete in the last 5 years. We normally stay in west crete, most times in Rethymno, because west crete has marvellous beaches and wonderful citys like Chania and Rethymno. So we could recommend you to visit Chania and Rethymno old town, go to Marathi Beach or Kalatas Beach at Akrotiri, visit Falasarna Mega Beach in the west or Elafonisis in the south west, go to Kissamos and further by ship to Balos Beach, wonderful, also you can go to the south, only a short turn from Rethymno to Plakias, Frangokastello, Moniprivelli, Damoni Beach, Skinaria Beach, Matala and so on.<br><br> Here are some restaurants we would like to recommend you. near to the villa you can go to Kavalos with cretan traditional food, delicious. Also a good restaurant is locaated in Kavros and named Dionisos. The owner is a nice lady, Sofia, and she speeks a good german. In former times she stayed a long time in Germany. The curiosity is, that she will tell you, what you will eat!!! Very good dishes, entertaining and fabulous Raki.<br><br> Finally, I would like to thank you once again Giannis for your hospitality, the Retsina, the local sausages and chicken for our BBQ. I hope we will meet again....”

“En français et en anglais Villa magnifique qui domine la baie de Souda avec une vue imprenable. La villa est très confortable et tout y est ! Une percola ala gauche de la villa pour prendre le petit déjeuner et les repas sous la canisse avec un barbecue évier. La piscine à débordement est vraiment extraordinaire ! Eau douce et autonettoyante bien propre et contrôlée (eau) eau agréablement rafraîchissante mais pas froide ! Les chambres sont bien fournies et confortables avec une chambre grand lit 160 avec wc douche et évier et l’autre chambre lit 160 et salle d’eau avec wc douche et évier à part mais juste à côté avec une machine à laver. Les propriétaires sont adorables comme souvent en Crète . Andon et Anita ( les propriétaires) sont d’invraisemblables bosseurs et feront tout pour vous satisfaire avec discrétion et gentillesse. N’hésitez pas à y aller cette villa et luxueuse et bien fournie, agreable et proche de nombreux restaurants typiques et excellents. Pas loin de Chania et un peu plus loin de Rethimno Les prix restent très convenables pour cette très belle villa. <br><br> Forgive me for my bad English This villa is a wonderful villa not far away from Chania and Rethimno. Villa Resi is a quiet and pieceful house with an amazing infinity edge pool that gives of the marvelous Souda bay Barbecue on the shade Very confortable villa The wonderful view and the quiet area with some crickets makes this villa one of the first luxury villa in Vamos Which is a lovely place. Andon and Anita ( the owners) are so sweet that you can’t miss out this place ! I will truly recommand this villa ...you will love it ! ”

“We spent a week at the Aurora Villa. We were 7 friends and we absolutely loved our vacation !!<br> The location is great to discover East Crete, you need a car of course. There are supermarkets at Maleme, less than 10min driving.<br> The owner was easy to contact and helpful for any questions or asking.<br> No hidden fees. <br> I absolutely recommand this villa.<br>”

“We spend a wonderful week in villa Keronia in the first week of May 2018. The villa was equipped with all the kitchen and house parts you can think of. Escpecially for the children (but also the adults) the pool and sports room was super. This villa was certainly worth the price. Coen”

“Wir haben zwei wunderschöne Wochen auf Kreta verlebt, in der tadellos gepflegten und schönen Metochi Villa. Zur Ausstattung und Lage ist in den vorherigen Rezensionen schon alles gesagt worden. Uns ist noch einmal wichtig, uns bei Despina und Manos, und auch beim Housekeeping zu bedanken. Wir waren beeindruckt von Ihrem freundlichen Empfang, Ihrer herzlichen Gastfreundschaft und Fürsorge. “We loved our stay at Mouri, set in the hills the views are amazing from the pool/jacuzzi . It's about a 10/15 minute drive from Kissamos, but there is a small village closer that has a tavern and cafés; definitely need a car though. It's a good location if you plan to explore the West of the Island and Chania is worth a visit, a 45 minute drive away. The villa is well equipped and looked after, Michail visited every 3 or 4 days to clean the pool and check things over. The pool is not heated but was a good temperature after a sunny day. The host Michail was very friendly and helpful, he provided a cot, toys and a baby chair for our 14 month old ; and some home produced olive oil for us. Michail has chickens and grows vegetables at Mouri and we could help our selves to these and the eggs. The kids loved picking up the eggs everday. There is a basket ball hoop which kept my 6 year old busy and a great BBQ, plenty of wood available so no need for charcoal. There are 2 parts to the villa a 1 bedroom house and a 3 bedroom house, we had use of them both, the one bedroom house is very traditional and cosy the other more modern. I highly recommend Mouri, great place to stay.”

“We stayed 8 nights at Villa Margarita last week. Everything was outstanding. The house is absolutely stunning, modern, and well decorated. The rooms were nicely sized, the windows offer excellent cross-breezes, and the house has air conditioning throughout. The infinity pool was pristinely clean and there was plenty of seating in the sun and shade. The villa had beautiful views of the olive tree valley and the sea. <br><br>Margarita, the owner, as well as her team, were present if needed, extremely friendly and made sure that our vacation went without a hitch. They even offered us some eggs from their chicken coop. <br><br>All in all, we would return with great pleasure and excitement to stay at any of the 5 modern villas available in the complex. ”
