“Wir haben den Urlaub in der Villa Victoria sehr genossen. <br><br> Das Haus liegt umgeben von Olivenbäumen oberhalb des Lake Kournas.<br> Der Garten ist liebevoll angelegt und gepflegt. Der Pool ist sehr groß und sehr sauber. Er hat einen abgegrenzten Bereich für kleine Kinder. <br> Die Aussicht ist absolut spektakulär. Von Terrasse, Garten und den oberen Zimmern (jeweils mit Balkon) blickt man auf den See und das Meer. <br> Wer Ruhe und Erholung sucht, ist hier genau richtig. Die einzigen Nachbarn sind ein paar Schafe. <br> Das Haus ist gut ausgestattet und sehr sauber. Es sind viele Handtücher und Badetücher vorhanden, die zwischendurch ausgewechselt werden. Das heiße Wasser wird durch Solar aufgewärmt. Wenn das Wetter mal nicht so gut ist , kann es mit Strom aufgeheizt werden. Das klappt super. <br> Es gibt einen Fernseher mit allen Programmen und einen DVD-Spieler.<br> Mit dem Auto ist man in 5 min am See, wo man sehr gut essen gehen und mit dem Tretboot fahren kann. Zum nächsten Supermarkt fährt man 8 min, an den Strand 10 min. Der Sandstrand zieht sich über viele Kilometer die Küste entlang. <br> Der Empfang durch den Hausbesitzer war sehr herzlich. Er hat uns mit jeder Menge Lebensmittel und gekühlten Getränken versorgt. Bei kleinen Problemen, die wir hatten (nach einem Gewitter ging das WLAN nicht mehr) war er gleich zur Stelle und hat Abhilfe geschafft. <br> Vor zwei Jahren waren wir in der Villa Joseph, die etwas oberhalb liegt und genauso schön ist.<br><br> Ich kann beide Häuser nur wärmstens weiterempfehlen. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.”

“A fortnight of pleasancy in Villa Stella in september.<br> We had no worries whatsoever - everything was in order, and we had no reason to contact Nikos or Argiro during our stay - no complaints.<br> The villa itself, full of any possible commodity, the pool, the cleaning, a nice welcoming "basket" - nothing to be complaining about.<br> In the small village of Maleme - at the seaside - a couple of nice restaurants, and only a few kilometres away the more "pulsating" town of Platanias.<br> We had a rented car, but it seemed that public transport was ok and the taxis affordable.<br> We strongly recommend a visit to Villa Stella - it's not the last time, we booked this villa :-)<br> Niels, Denmark”

“We had a wonderful stay at villa stella. The villa was very very clean and it was very comfortable. The owner's attention and service was very nice. I recommend it one hundred percent. ”

“We have been staying in villas in different countries for over 25 years and we thought the location of Victoria Villa was wonderful: beautiful views, peaceful and private with attractive well-tended gardens.<br> Everything was also very clean, including the pool, and we were surprised to find that there was a weekly clean included rather than just a change of sheets and towels.<br> Another plus-point was the welcome pack that Yanos provided, meaning we had sufficient supplies to cover us until the following morning. He also provided fresh fruit and a couple of bottles of wine, and reacted very quickly when we reported that the DVD player wasn't working.<br><br> However, there were some other aspects of our stay that were more disappointing, which is why we've only given it 3 stars. Had we had warm weather throughout they may not have had such an impact but they were exacerbated by the fact we were forced to spend so much time indoors:<br><br> - We all found the mattresses incredibly hard, meaning that none of us managed to have a restful sleep during the 13 nights we were there.<br> - The sofa and all the chairs inside the villa were uncomfortable, with the sofa proving hazardous because the wooden slats weren't fixed in place.<br> - The kitchen was poorly equipped although the saucepans were of good quality. There was also only one shelf in the oven, which wasn't helpful.<br> - The books, DVDs and satellite channels available were not really geared-up for English guests.<br> - There were no showers available, just shower heads which could not be fixed to the walls in any way. <br>Given that we were cold much of the time due to the lower-than-average temperatures, this made showering unpleasant. As mentioned by another guest, we attempted to have a bath (mainly to get warm) but there was only enough hot water to run a bath of about 3 inches before the water ran cold, rendering the whirlpool function totally useless!<br> - There was only one bedside lamp in the whole villa and very few drawers in the bedrooms.<br><br> Overall this is a lovely villa in a lovely location but it's let down by a lack of attention to details, all of which could be easily resolved. - ”

“Wir haben 13 unbeschreiblich schöne Tage hier verbracht, es hat an nichts gefehlt. Der Blick aufs Meer ist sagenhaft, Von den Nachbarn haben wir tatsächlich fast nichts mitbekommen, die Privatsphäre ist absolut gewährleistet. Ausstattung top, das großzügige Grundstück bietet zahlreiche Sitz-/Liegemöglichkeiten, Betten klasse. Andonis ist sehr freundlich und, war bei kleinen Problemen/Fragen sofort erreichbar. Der Pool ist groß und sehr sauber, etwas kühl😉. Resi ist unsere Traumvilla, wir kommen wieder♥️! Schaut euch die Fotos an, in echt ist es noch schöner. ”

“We were in September for 2 weeks there. It was a wonderful place and we had a great time. It was our 3 time there. We love it. Very clean and the owner is so friendly. We will come back ”

“We had a lovely 10 days in this wonderful villa. It had everything you could want and more. Only a 5 minute drive into town to some lovely greek tavernas and delicious food. The villa had such a good layout and the pool area with its amazing views and well kept gardens made us not want to move all day. The hospitality from Otto and Giota was brilliant, always bringing gifts of wine, cakes and biscuits without being intrusive. We would recommend this villa to anyone.”

“Margarita Villa 2 was located in a lovely complex consisting of 5 villas. Each one is situated as to take advantage of privacy for all guests. The villa is located within easy driving distance to the beach and numerous restaurants but still maintaining the peace and quiet we were looking for on our vacation. The villa was very comfortable and the view was lovely for our after dinner drinks and relaxation. We would definitely stay here again.”

“Superbe Spot!! Ravi d'avoir passer ces 15 jours dans ce lieu FABULEUX , avant toute chose la vue resteras dans ma mémoire... TOUT LE RESTE.... RESTE SECONDAIRE ; la maison est jolie , le jardin bien entretenue.. Nous avons apprécier les gestes du propriétaire venant nous voir chaque fois avec une bouteille de vin ... Certainement le fait que nous sommes Français ,merci encore pour ces douces attention .. a voir si vous êtes amoureux d'ESPACE INOUBLIABLE !”

“Wat een prachtige villa, zeer geschikt voor een groter gezelschap. De villa is schitterend gelegen, met uitzicht op zee. Op de vele terrassen kun je genieten van een indrukwekkende zonsondergang.<br> De villa was brandschoon en van alle gemakken voorzien.<br> De keuken was uitstekend uitgerust.<br> De matrassen op de bedden waren gelukkig niet super hard. Goede horren voor de schuifpuien en rolluiken.<br> De enige opmerking: een bordje met de namen van de villa,s bij de ijzeren poort vergemakkelijkt het zoeken. <br> Een auto is zonder meer noodzakelijk.<br> Kortom: de villa is het geld dubbel en dwars waard. Wij hebben genoten. ”

“We have just returned from a 11 night stay at Villa Victoria.<br><br> The location is beautiful, very peaceful and relaxing with amazing views. That alone would give 5 stars, however, being honest, the villa inside was not 5 star. <br><br> There are a few issues, whilst not massive, might be a consideration for future guests. Starting in the kitchen...it is very poorly equipped if you want to prepare your own meals. 3 large glasses and 3 small glasses in the cupboard with 4 small wine glasses. Enough for our family of parents and 2 adult daughters, but really not what would be expected. There were hardly any serving dishes to put in salad etc, although there were plenty of plates. I usually travel with various equipment as I am a cook, but apart from mine, there were no scissors in the kitchen. The hob and oven, no complaints, and a large fridge freezer.<br><br> in the lounge there is no real comfortable seating. As you can see from the pictures, there is a long wooden settle type settee, be warned it is not for relaxing. Also there were 2 ikea Poang type chairs, covered with rather glum looking throws, 1 brought out by us from the downstairs bedroom. That is it. All the chairs outside on both the patios are firm, but with no cushions of any sort. We had a couple of dull days, with a bit of rain and it was hard to be comfortable inside. The beds are a little hard too unfortunately.<br><br> Another thing to be aware of, there is NO SHOWER in this villa. There are 2 shower heads, one over the bath upstairs, and another in the downstairs cloakroom, neither of which have any means of being hung on the wall.<br><br> The bathroom shower is part of a jetted bath with a curved back, so any sprayed water runs round and down onto the floor. There was no rail or shower curtain when we arrived, but this was brought and fitted the next day, which was good, but you still couldn't use the shower spray either standing or kneeling in the bath without the water covering the floor. Also, my daughter tried to have a bath, and lovely as the jets looked, there was not enough water in the tank to reach them before it ran cold. The downstairs toilet shower was unusable I would say with out soaking the whole room, toilet paper included and anything on the windowsill. Also as the door was a slider, it would appear that you would need to be careful of allowing water into the lounge. Look carefully at the picture of the room on the gallery. One more small point. The downstairs cloakroom, as I mentioned, has a sliding door, that is in no way soundproof !! It is therefore obvious to anyone in the lounge or kitchen, exactly what is going on in there....and what it smell like!!!<br><br> All this may seem unimportant to you, if that is the case, you will be very happy here. If you are a little concerned about it, then maybe consider more carefully before booking. We did enjoy our time in Villa Victoria, but would not rebook for the reasons I have set out.”
