“Villa was very well presented and maintained and is perfect for two families holidaying together due to the layout. The owner was on hand if needed and was very helpful. You do need a car - but the town of Tavronitis is only a 5 minute drive. One restaurant to visit is in Maleme - [from Tavronitis turn left before the supermarket] on the road down to the beach on right hand side is the Perasma Family Tavern a vine covered restaurant with very good food - excellent meat pie! We visited Chania, several monastries, Knossos and the beautiful beach at Elafonissi - drive through the mountains and return via the coastal route both have lovely scenery. The beach is very busy but still worth a visit even in the summer. ”

May the best view on Crete

5/5
“We were three family with small and teens children. We like the villae: its position, the marvelous view, its comfortability. The pool is very good and very convinient even for infants. All sleeping rooms are very comfortable and large. Living room is light, the kitchen with very good equipment. We spent all evenings near the fireplace. Thanks a lot for houseowners. They were very friendly. Its a pity that we had a few time to ride on horses.”

Blue sea, White mountains, hot sun and Villa Clio: the real dream

5/5
“For our first trip in Crete, the 2 weeks spent in Stavros have been a complete success. The Villa Clio is a modern and very quiet villa on top of a hill with a splendid 180° view over the sea. Chania (harbor, old town, market place), Elafonisi (caraibean beaches), Gramvousa (pirates island), Balos (shallow water lagoon), Samaria (canyon and pebbly beach) and so many others...are wonderfull must see places not o far from the villa. Don't forget to have fun in Limnoupolis, an amazing family water park in Chania outskirts. All the people in Stavros and everywhere we went have been really delightful. These few lines are not enough to describe the pleasure we took during these 2 weeks in Crete. We'll surely go back there with our children (8, 15 and 20 years old).”

Stella villa

5/5
“We have just returned from a 2 wk stay in Stella villa in Maleme and so, what to report? Absolute privacy in a truly lovely garden; not only was the pool perfect (full sun all day and very clean) but the garden was well maintained and included an orchard (freshly squeezed orange juice for breakfast!). The villa inside was spacious enough for our family of 6 to spread out and relax in - the pictures do not do it justice. Again, the house was spotlessly clean and maintained to a high standard. Ideal base to explore Western Crete and we would thoroughly recommend this villa and Chania Rentals.”

Markos villa

5/5
“We had a wonderful holiday at Markos villa, Drapanos. The villa was very clean and tidy on our arrival and we had a lovely meal waiting for us on our arrival, after a long day, it was much appreciated. The pool was cleaned regularly and the views from the villa were breathtaking. We would recommend a trip to the inland Lake. A wonderful opportunity to swim in clear, warm water and a chance to do some kyaking which we had never done before - a great experience! There were three tavernas within walking distance, we tried two and both were very nice. A shop also within walking distance which was convenient. We would recommend a car to see more of the island. Almirida was lovely, again for swimming in the clear, safe water. Thank you once again.”

Summer 2010 at markos Villa

5/5
“Markos Villa is one of the best villas we have stayed in. It was spacious, very well equipped and the views are fantastic. Although it was very private, the local village is a two minute walk, and has two tavernas and a mini market. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. Almirida is a ten minute drive and has a great beach lined with cafes and tavernas. You will need a car. I thoroughly recommend this villa!”

Harmony review

5/5
“ We were very satisfied with the standard of the villa and the surrounding garden and pool area. The service was topclass with thorough cleaning and horseback riding was provided for the kids for no extra charge. The only small minus was that the rental car was empty on gas when recieved. We will highly recommend your villas to our friends.”

TEN OUT OF TEN

5/5
“This villa was everything the advertisements declared and the location great - will not enlarge on this as the fun is discovering for oneself. We had a family holiday with children 4/6/8/10 and 6 adults and all agreed it was ten out of ten. A car is essential.”

Perfect place in Crete

5/5
“Eleni Villa pictures are very good. They tell a lot. Eleni Villa is perfect place for those who wants to enjoy nature, own peace, swimming pool, big and nice garden, clean and tidy house and wonderful view to sea. You can walk to the beach and to the nearest mini market. Bigger supermarkets (Lidl) is 6 kilometers from Villa Eleni on the to Platanias. My family drove to Platanias for dinners. We also cooked food at Eleni Villa. We visited beach Elafonisi, waterpark Limnopoulis, city of Chania, Therisso Gorge and Kissamo. We liked and enjoyed Eleni Villa a lot. I can recommend the place to people who wants to make their own holiday! ”

Koules Villa

4/5
“There were some really excellent aspects to this holiday. The villa was fantastic, as was the swimming pool, with a nice combination of shade and sun. The view of the Med (only 200m or so as the crow flies) was phenomenal. I have a couple of gripes on the villa itself - we had to request extra sheets and bin bags which might easily have been provided at the start, but easily rectified; and there were not enough drinking glasses. our main issue was that the villa was not ready at the agreed time - indeed the previous occupants were still in situ. During the resulting delay our car was broken into and half of our bags (with valuables) stolen - all avoidable if the arrangements had gone to plan. Having said that, this was a lovely property in a beautiful setting and i would happily use the company again.”

Complete getaway

5/5
“Hermes villa will not disappoint you. Nice decor, good equipment providing everything you need in the kitchen, spacious rooms with multiple balconies to enjoy a stunning view… It stands in a quiet peaceful place, and all you need is to make sure you have enough time to listen to the birds singing, enjoy the sunset in the valley and walk around in olive and pine groves. The villa is safe for small kids (provided you still watch them by the pool). You would for sure need a car to get to the nearest shop or taverna, as the villa stands on the top of the hill. The nearest beach (at Tavronitis) is pebbles, and you might wish to drive ab. 40 min to the one with sand. And - many thanks to the owners, Maria and Manoles, for their help and hospitality! ”
