“everything is wonderful : the house, the beaches and ...the owner , who is very kind !!! so, we're going back this year ”

“We stayed at Eleni Villa the first two weeks of July. Everything was perfect : the villa and surroundings, the contact with the owner, the renting of the car. The villa is beautiful and the view over the sea is amazing. You find everything in Maleme or Platanias : supermarkets, restaurants, gas station and even a doctor... We rest one day at the villa enjoying the swimming pool, and the seaview and the day after we visited the region : Chania, Gramvoussa and Balos by boat, Elafonissi, Falassarna, Omalos, Loutro at the south coast by boat from Chora Sfakion. It was our first trip in Greece with the children and they really enjoyed it ! Don't hesitate to land in Heraklion (we had cheaper flights than flying to Chania) We rode from Heraklion to Maleme (158km) at night and it was absolutely not a problem. We recommend this villa. We will surely come back !”

“Séjour sympathique dans cette villa tout confort. Propreté impeccable. Située idéalement dans un village très agréable. Le + c'est l'hospitalité et la gentillesse des propriétaires. Épiceries, boulangerie, boucher, etc à moins de 10 mn à pied. Village vivant avec ses 3 restaurant en bordure de rivière. Piscine privée entretenue et de bonne superficie. Tout est remplie pour des vacances merveilleuses !!”

“This is an extremely welcoming villa, furnished and maintained with great taste and very well taken care of, including the lovely pool and garden with the adjoining lime grove. Best thing though is the personal style, it feels as if you were visiting friends rather than renting a holiday home: flowers, delicious home-made marmalade and wine! Plenty of cats too if you want them! The living room with the master bedroom off it is stunning. We travelled as a family with three nearly grown-up teenagers and an additional friend - the house is spacious and especially the pool house was useful for some extra privacy and internet access. Maleme itself has a pebbly beach and good swimming, some restaurants and a great local bakery but is not too touristy. Lots of other beautiful beaches, mountain villages and charming Chania close by. We had a brilliant holiday! ”

“It's beautiful property - the house, pool and gardens are superb. We actually ended up spending far more time around the pool that we had originally intended, but it was just so hard to tear ourselves away. It's completely secluded, so you can even leave your swimsuit at home if you like... Great location for touring the west of Crete - Falasarna and Elafonisi beaches are easy to get to as are Chania and Rethymnon (not to be missed). Trips to Samaria Gorge depart from nearby Platanias (10 minutes away) and if you don't want to roam, there are some lovely little spots to eat and drink in Pyrgos (at the bottom of the hill) and Maleme (2 km away). Car is ESSENTIAL, as is a love of cats - there's a delightful family of beautiful, friendly Cretan cats living in the olive grove and they stopped by to visit pretty much every day. They were a pure pleasure. We would heartily recommend this for a honeymoon or romantic getaway for two, or even for a family or small group. It's ideal for 2 couples as both the main bedrooms are the same size and have en suite bathrooms and balconies over the pool. A truly wonderful place. I would return there tomorrow if I could... ”

If you are looking for a chilled, relaxed holiday in a lovely well kept villa finished to a high standard, perched on a hill, over looking the sea and the town of Maleme we would highly recommend this villa.”

“Villa Hermes have excellent conditions for a family or group of friends. The ideal is 12 persons including all the ages. It was an unforgettable experience. What caught our attention was particularly the richness of the furniture, equipment and countless small details that show the owners preoccupation in obtaining for the occupants the highest comfort on this nice experience. Honestly, it was very hard for all of us, after one week of pure pleasure, to leave this real paradise. Only, we wish, that this special experience will be lived in the future, also, by others.- ”

“Wonder place, full of a big house, an incredible BBQ terrace front of the sea , a large swim-pool above the deep blue, facing sunrises and sunshines. Sand or rocks beaches at 4km, isolates, not crowded and ideals for snorkeling, waves playing or have a nice diner. 15km close to Chania, it permits to meet the agora and agreements those farniente holidays with some chopping or flaneries along the venitian port and it's touristics facilities.”
