Aquila Villa is a beautiful, new built house, built on the top of a hill offering unobstructed 360° panoramic view over the north coast, the fertile countryside of Apokoronas and the mountains. The small, unspoiled village of Drapanos is 600m away, while the organized, sandy and shallow beach of Almyrida is 5.5km away. There are 2 taverns and a mini market in the village and for more choices you must drive to Plaka, 4.5km away.
The villa is built on a 2000sq.m. fenced property. There are young fruit trees in the entrance, ornamental plants in planting beds, a big lawned area, 3 pergolas and a bbq; but the impressive focal point of the outdoor area is the huge, infinity, heated pool with the big children’s area. Every hour of the day the view is impressive but the sunset is magical – the sky is painted red and the lights of the villages turn on…
The two floor villa consists of a large open concept area, four bedrooms, four bathrooms and a wc. The entrance opens to a sunlit area with a vaulted wood ceiling. On the same floor there are two bedrooms - one ensuited double bedroom and one twin bedroom - one more bathroom and a wc. There is a sofa bed in the twin bedroom where one more person can comfortably sleep on. Wooden stairs lead to the upper level, where two ensuited bedrooms - one double and one twin - are found. There is a sofa bed for a child in the single bedroom. Both twin bedrooms can be turned to doubles.
The swimming pool can be heated upon request at an extra charge. The heat pump can warm the pool 5° C above the temperature of a non-heated pool, up to 28° C. A 4 days advance notice is required.

We stayed at Aquila Villa with the eight of us at the end of April, beginning of May. And to be honest, we rarely left the villa. To have the pool heated was the best decision as it was quite cold some days, but we could still do some swimming. We also enjoyed the house itself, really there's nothing that we felt that was missing. The nearby village was also fun, we had lunch or drinks there a couple of times. But the biggest surprise was the sunset every day, one of the best we've ever seen!

The swimming pool can be heated at an extra cost of 600€/week. 4 days advance notice is required and the extra charge must be paid on arrival.
