“The Kourkoulios Villa is a perfect retreat for families or couples looking for a relaxing break in the sun. Eva and Anthony are great hosts and made 100% sure that we had everything we needed for our stay (they even popped round with cakes during the week!). The villa itself is situated on the side of a hill in Champatha over looking olive groves with a view of the sea. It has been brilliantly restored by Anthony over 2 years and is absolutely immaculate. It was the ideal way to treat my new fiance following a surprise proposal on the beach in Geogioupolis and the perfect setting to celebrate with the family. <br>This is one of the best villas I 've stayed at and the whole experience provided by Eva and Anthony made the whole week one that none of us will ever forget. We will definitely be back!”

“We had the pleasure of meeting the owners George and Anna. They are wonderful hosts and very proud of their beautiful home they built. The villa is even nicer than the pictures. This is a great location. The villa is close to everything. My recommendation Would be to rent a car and tour the best beaches in Western Crete The most beautiful beach I have ever seen us Balos. The drive is crazy Lots if rocks on the road and up the mountain. Once you park the car, a 2km walk is needed. This is a must it is spectacular !!! Thanks again Anna and George for sharing your beautiful villa. I would rent it again!!!”

“Villa Joseph is a real holiday paradise! Owner Yannis provides everything, you simply enjoy life in this wonderful house, lovely garden and nice pool with a stunning view. You are overlooking Lake Kournas, the coast of Georgeoupoli and you are surrounded by mountains, olive trees and sheepsounds. We loved the coast opposite to Episcopi and found this place ideal to start for sightseeing places like Matala, Chania, Knossos, Imbros gorge etc. The villa is well kept and cleaning is very efficient and regular. If you want a typical crete experience just dine in Taverna Kournas/Kournas up in the mountains.”

“The Villa Kourkoulios is a beautiful Villa with a nice panoramic view near the town Georgioupolis. The house is very classic and traditionell furnished and the atmosphere is pleasant and warm. The hospitality of our hosts Eva and Antonio was very personal and really kind. When we arrived they took time, to show us some sightseeing points on the map. We got wine and delicious cake and we were allowed to take vegetables of their own created garden. (The exclusive guided tour through Chania, we liked the most!) All in all you can look forward to really nice and enjoyable holidays, with a private pool in an absolut quite environment. Don't miss to visit Costas Tavern in Maza 500 m away, were we had a few magnificent evenings! He and his family take care of the welfare of all guests with an incredible devotion. Thanks a lot everbody! ”

“The house is perfect. The pool is great, the view is beautiful and the BBQ is huge ! We had a wonderful time in the house. And above all, the owner and its entire family was very welcoming and nice too us. Everything was handled and simple, we just had to chill out. ”

“Stayed here during August/September 2013 absolutely stunning villa with fabulous views. Owners are fantastic very helpful and nothing to much trouble. My grandchildren loved the pool, the barbecue area is fabulous cleanliness of the villa is of an excellent standard. Will most definitely be returning”

“The views from the Villa are truly stunning and the standard within the Villa is very high. You do need a car as the hill up to the Villa is quite steep but once there you can relax in the peace a quiet. I was impressed by how often the bed linen was changed which was an extra bonus---as were the fresh figs which regularly appeared. The instructions to the Villa were straightforward and we were welcomed and shown around at the agreed time. All in all one of the better Villas I have stayed in around Stalos and would highly recommend it.”

“Upon arriving at Vaso Villa, our hearts filled with joy and relief. One always worries that photos oversell a place, but in this case the accommodation and location was even more beautiful than we could have expected. <br> The owners are really lovely and one feels that the house was built with great care and consideration and this is matched by how well it is kept. <br> We thoroughly enjoyed sitting on our breezy balcony taking in the panoramic view as well as dipping into a well-sized pool that was perfect for our whole family. The location is perfect as you can enjoy such peace and quiet yet you are minutes away from all the amenities you could need. I am from the drier rockier eastern part of Crete but I think this villa is perfect for exploring the more beautiful Western part of Crete.<br> We were very sad to leave and hope we can visit again soon. ”

“We stayed at the villa for one week in august. The villa has a perfect location! It´s very calm and beutiful surroundings and you can walk to the ocean and nearest village Agia Marina. From the villa you have the most beutiful view over the sea and all the surroundings. We were nine people in the ages of 2-65. Everone were pleased in the end of the week. The villa is large and every bedroom has it´s own balkony and bathroom. The pool is perfect! The owners met us at the villa at the arrival day and they were very nice. I can recommend to hire cars if you want to go a little longer than Agia Marina. Platanias is a bigger village with very nice restaurants and stores and it´s about 3 km from the villa. We had a wonderful week and i can really recommend everyone to stay in this villa!”
