“The villa was perfect: everything you can think of was in it and outside, and it gives much privacy. It also looked very nice and the maintenance was good. The 15 minute-walk to the village with some shops and the sea was not nice, but good to do. The only remark is, that we had to pay 50 euro for the second time the door was broken. Although we didn’t do anything wrong with it. But overall we had a good stay, thanks to the warm welcome with drinks and breakfast in the fridge (we arrived late on saturday evening) and later a self-made cake. ”

“Vietimme upeat kaksi viikkoa Villa Valliassa kesä-heinäkuun vaihteessa. Huvila on erittäin kaunis, siisti ja hyvin varusteltu. Iso piha ja uima-allas olivat luksusta. Huvilan sijainti on todella hyvä, se on omassa rauhassaan, mutta silti lähellä rantaa ja esim. Haniaa. Ihanan pienen Galataksen kylän keskusta on kävelymatkan päässä ja kävimmekin siellä usein. Siellä on muutama taverna ja supermarketti ja todella kaunis kirkko. Maria ja Yannis olivat erittäin ystävällisiä ja auttavaisia. Olen varma, että palaamme vielä uudestaan joku päivä Villa Valliaan. <br><br> We spent two wonderful weeks in Villa Vallia on June-July. The villa is very beautiful, clean and well equipped. The big garden and the pool were luxury. The location of the villa is very good, the area is peaceful but still near to the beach and Chania for example. The center of the lovely little village of Galatas is in walking distance, and we visited it many times. There are few tavernas and supermarkets and a very beautiful church.<br> Maria and Yannis were very friendly and helpful. I'm sure we'll return some day to Villa Vallia.”

“We had a wounderful holiday. The villa was really nice and the poolarea as well. The owner was very kind and helpful. The cleaning was good Agia marina was a nice place with lots of shops and restaurants and our nearest beach was good.”

“Spacious and well equipped/looked after villa. The views in the evening are spectacular, and the garden well maintained. The pool is a nice size and felt warm enough at all times, although it is the same depth throughout, so if you have young kids you may want to supervise them more closely than normal. The villa itself was extremely comfortable, and with the breeze from the mountains we didn't need to use the air conditioning except a couple of very hot nights. Fly nets on all doors and windows were great at stopping unwanted night bites. The only thing we found was that noise travels from the villa next door, and felt that it was intrusive some of the time. The pool area is also overlooked from the other villa, although the owners have planted trees to grow into the space to give that extra privacy in the longer term. A really nice place to set yourself up if you want to travel out to the west side of Crete. ”

“The villa was just what we needed. Normally when you arrive at your holiday accomodation there is something you are let down by but this was not the case here; it was as described.<br><br> Be prepared for a walk back from town but we didn't mind it and it was worth it for the views. Pool and the area was fantastic as was the bbq. Lots of outside seating for different times of the day.<br><br> Only quarms are: wifi wasn't great so we had to use our mobiles. Couldn't get the downstairs air on to work, couldn't find a safe, as it was so remote we were conscious of security, especially with 2 young children, better security would have helped this.”

“We stayed at Gianna Villa for two weeks and we enjoyed it! Great location for exploring Crete (near E -W highway in the north, good road to south coast) and very nice view. You will need a car to get to the villa. <br><br> Our Highlights in the area: Olive Mill at the highway exit, family owned restaurants at Lake Kurnas and markets in Chania.<br><br> The equipment of the villa is good. We had everything we needed. Our kids loved the pool! The owner is around tending his fields quite often and hat good tips for us. We appreciated the welcome basket, we found in the villa upon arrival...<br><br> definitely a recommended stay. ”

“Was für ein wunderschönes und komfortables Haus in mitten von Olivenbaum-Hainen. Wir haben hier die schönesten und erholsamsten Ferien seit langem verlebt. Das Haus läßt keine Wünsche offen. Es ist mit allem ausgestattet, um sich gleich wie zu Hause zu fühlen und ist sichlich mit Liebe und Geschmack eingerichtet worden. Es liegt ganz wunderbar in den Hügel oberhalb von Xirokampi mit einem wunderschönen Blick aufs Meer und war für uns der ideale Ausgangspunkt für Erkundungstouren des westlichen Kreta. Vielen Dank an Stella und ihren Mann, die sich so wunderbar um uns gekümmert haben und immer einen guten Tip für einen einsamen Strand oder ein gutes Restaurant hatten. Danke. Danke auch an Chania Rentals für die schnelle und unkomplizierte Buchung. Obwohl wir jedes Jahr ein anderes Land besuchen, überlegen wir, nächstes Jahr wieder nach Kreta in die Io Villa zurück zu kehren. Gibt es etwas besseres zu sagen als das. ”

“We had the most beautiful holiday in Villa Dionysus ever in Crete. The villa was well equipped and spacious for four persons. The location was good: tavernas and a big supermarket were near and the surrounding area was very quiet. We had rented a car so it was easy to explore other villages, beaches and Chania. The hostcouple Katerine and George made our stay memorable: their hospitality was something we have never experienced before. Katerine brought some creek food for us several times and the food was even better than any restaurants we visited. It feels they really wanted to take a good care of their visitors. We raelly recommend the villa for everyone who are bored to spend the holiday in hotels ;)”

“This beautiful villa is ideal for anyone wanting either a relaxing or a busy stay in Crete. The villa is a 5 minute drive to the beach and local restaurants and shops or a 15 minute drive into Chania but is an oasis of peace. We were a party of 6 adults and the villa provided privacy for all of us in beautifully clean rooms all with en suites. We ventured into Chania a few of times and ate a couple of times at local hotels but otherwise spent our time at the villa - it was hard to drag ourselves away! A lovely pool and balconies or terraces with tables and chairs off all the rooms all with fantastic views.<br><br> As the other reviewers mention, Margarita is lovely, never intrusive but available if needed. We have had many villa holidays and this was one of the best and also great value for money. Do go - you'll love it!”
