“This is a fantastic villa, really well appointed, clean and very well laid out. <br> The villa is well equipped and it was great to have a comprehensive welcome pack waiting for us. The owner met us at the villa and was very helpful and welcoming.<br> Everything you needed was really close by and it was fantastic to walk to the beach everyday at the bottom of the drive. In fact everything was close by, a great supermarket and lovely restaurants on the door step. The town was a short walk away and the larger city of Chania was an easy drive.<br><br> Will definitely book again ”

“This is a lovely villa. The photos do it justice; the pool was spotless as was the villa itself.<br><br> The owner greeted to make sure we were ok and had fresh fruit and water waiting for us. He also allowed us to stay on our final day until 5pm (rather than the advertised check-out time of 11am) as we had an evening flight. <br><br>The restaurants in Maleme on the seafront are very good and there's a nice hidden away cafe within easy walking distance called 107 at the entrance to the German cemetery. <br><br>Highly recommended ”

“what can i say, the villa is fantastic,the views from inside and outside are spectacular.<br><br>we were a party of 10 and there is bags of space around the large pool,and inside the villa.Its decorations and fittings are of a very high standard,the pool and full size pool table kept us happy all day long.<br><br>A car is required if you want to get out and about,but to be honest we ate al fresco nearly every day.<br><br> I have stayed in a few villas over the years,and i can honestly say this was the best”

“We are a family with children 7&5. We had an amazing week at this villa. We hired a car as needed for airport transfers but you could manage without as the supermarket is a few mins walk away. The seafront tavernas were 5-10 mins walk away, we had some good food but on occasions the service was very slow.<br> The villa was amazing, everything was catered for, fully equipped kitchen, washer and dishwasher with detergents. The fridge was full of necessities on arrival with the added bonus of wine, beer and raki. The owner and his family were friendly and gave us home grown veg during the week. Would love to return! ”

“We stayed at this beautiful villa during the last week of August. It is in a superb location and perfect for us as a family of four with children aged 10 and 9.<br><br> We had read other reviews about the hospitality of the owners Katerina and George but even so we're not really prepared for their incredible generosity. We arrived at the villa to be greeted by the owners a stocked fridge and home cooked Greek dishes in the oven. Katerina and George also dropped by with other dishes for us to sample over the holiday. They were very respectful of privacy when doing so.<br><br> The villa is incredibly spacious and cool. We noted other reviews had commented that the upstairs of the villa was rather warm. The air conditioning has obviously all been upgraded since then and worked perfectly for us with units in both bedrooms and various other points in the villa..<br><br> We had an amazing time with all amenities being close by. You really do not need a car to stay here. A very relaxing break and only wish we could have stayed longer. Thank you!”

“nous sommes partis 1 semaine entre amis dans la villa del Mare, c'était parfait. La maison est magnifique et très bien équipée , la vue est à couper le souffle et la piscine est très agréable. Nous avons passé d'excellents soirées sur la terrasse principale, on a pu profiter du BBQ tous les jours. <br><br> Semaine de rêve, nous conseillons tous la villa del mare aux futurs voyageurs!”

“Nous avons passé 3 semaines magnifiques à Maleme Villa au mois d'août.<br><br> Tous les ans nous louons une villa avec des amis dans un lieu différent et je dois avouer que nous n'avons jamais été aussi bien reçu qu'à Maleme Villa.<br><br> Stella, notre hôte, nous a couvert de cadeaux : fromage, raki, glaces, cookies, sans oublier un magnifique gâteau pour mon anniversaire.<br><br> La villa est belle, spacieuse, toujours propre grâce à Sofia. Le jardinier passe tous les jours pour entretenir la magnifique pelouse et le potager. N'oubliez pas de goûter les tomates et les courgettes du potager...un vrai régal!<br><br> Avec une voiture, vous pourrez visiter la superbe ville de Chania ou vous rendre sur une des plus belle plage de Crète (ELAFOUNISSI ou BALOS). <br><br> Enfin, si comme nous vous aimez la plongée sous marine, vous serez heureux!<br><br> Merci encore 1000 fois Stella.”

“Great spacious villa for two families of 4 people. Nice pool and lounging area outside.<br><br> Large facilities inside the villa with a seated terrace which was great for dinner time and a suitable seating area for breakfast bring the kitchen.<br><br> Only two bad comments (sorry):<br><br> - WiFi was an issue and was told it would be addressed at some point (although not during our holiday)<br> - kitchen could do with re-kitting out, not enough chopping board, dishwasher small, no good knives!!<br><br> The positives way outweigh the negatives however and we all managed to have a great holiday is a relaxed villa location with views to die for.<br><br> If you want to explore the west coast/south coast of Crete then this is situated very conveniently. ”

“What a truly magnificent property with breathtaking views. <br> On our arrival Margarita was the perfect host, greeting us and then giving a tour of simply beautiful home finished to very high standards.<br> The property is very spacious and would easily accommodate large parties (there were 9 of us with a large double bed and a sofa bed spare!)<br> The pool, BBQ and numerous outdoor seating areas together with carefully located sun screens allowed all family members to enjoy the Cretian sun throughout the day/evening.<br> A 25 minute walk takes you to a Galatas with traditional bars and restaurants, alternately walk the opposite direction (a few steep inclines) and your at the beech of Agia Marinas and the costal rd to Chania or Platalanis.<br> A car or push bikes would be ideal although there are many Taxis to get you out and about.<br><br> We would not have any hesitation in returning to such wonderful hosts and thier sumptuous property!<br><br> Thanks for a truly magnificent holiday from us all!!! ”
