“It was a great house very neat. We had a small problem with the air condition and Chrissy an her brother come very quickly to repair it. It was really a nica holiday here and we were happy.”

“The villa is beautifully appointed, immaculately clean, and the hosts are just amazing. Nothing was too much trouble, lifts to the supermarket before we got our hire car. Generous amount of fruit, olive oil and wine on arrival.<br><br> I think that it is best suited for those who wish to totally relax. If you have teenagers who wish to wander off to night life, this is not the place for them as the restaurants are a 25 minute walk, and not much is going on. <br><br> Chania well worth a visit, and touring round the top part of this lovely island was great. We would definitely visit again.<br><br> Downsides, not many. Shower in ensuite was a bit odd, and although there is ample shade which we loved be careful to midge up as I think they may lurk in the beautiful overhanging greenery.”

“We have just come back from an amazing holiday in Crete staying at Villa Almyros.<br><br> Villa Almyros was a lovely place to stay nestled in olive groves with great views of the surrounding countryside. The pictures just don't do it justice as the villa is large, bright and very well equipped throughout. From the moment that we arrived we were made to feel very welcome and the villa owners looked after as very well. They are really nice people and nothing was to much trouble. The villa was cleaned regularly along with the pool.<br><br> The villa is in a good location and close to Georgioupolis where there are plenty of restaurants to choose from. The closest restaurant up the hill was called 'Mathes' and this was a very nice place to eat so highly recommend this to.<br><br> If you book this villa you will not be disappointed. We all had a great holiday with good memories. Really good for all ages.<br><br> Chania Rentals also arrange car hire for us and I have to say this was one of the easiest car hire transaction that we have ever had to go through. It was so easy and we didn't have any time wasted queuing up waiting to be served.”

“Have just returned from an amazing week. This villa was very spacious for 2 families 8 people in total. It was spotless, clean and well maintained. It was beautifully decorated throughout. Very good location we walked to the main street in Agia Marina tho it's a steep hill on return still only took 15/20 mins. We had a car to travel but the little train also is a good sightseeing option. <br><br>Owner of villa helpful. Chania rentals very easy to book with and very helpful. Everyone we saw in crete was happy and helpful. <br><br>An excellent holiday and would recommend this villa. Would return without a doubt. thank you!”

“Daar,<br><br> With thee family of five we very much enjoyed our stay in Villa Lithos. Clean and comfortabel accommodation wit a nice pool. Verg quiet environment wih an amazing view on Souda bay. <br><br> Thee availability of a car is recommended but well situated to visit both provincies of Chania and Rethymnon.<br><br> We alzo appreciated thee verg warm welcome and perfect service during our stay”

“Just returned from two weeks staying in this fabulous villa.The accommodation was perfect for all of us (2 grandparents, 2 parents and 1 child). The villa was of the highest standard, the pool amazing with plenty of sunny and shady areas. The villa is in a private secure gated area with beautiful views and is of a really high standard. <br><br> Margarita was wonderful, nothing was too much trouble and she was very helpful in suggesting places to visit and eat. <br><br> Local restaurants were fantastic and all good value for money. We tried numerous beaches and they just kept getting better and better. <br><br> A car is essential but we also used a local taxi service, on some evenings, which was recommended by Margarita. They were very reasonable and extremely accommodating.<br><br> A fabulous place to stay. We will definitely be going back! Thank you for a wonderful holiday. ”

“One of the best villas we've stayed in, ever!<br><br> Surrounded by Olive groves, this villa is located in a very quiet location at the end of a 2km track but still only 5mins from Maleme beach with its shops and restaurants, an ideal location for some peace and quiet. The only noises are from the two horses in a nearby field, Spike the friendly little dog (a very occasional visitor) and the wind.. BTW Take the track slowly, I think i broke the hire car on a rock!<br><br> The villa itself is fitted out to a high standard with lots of attention to detail, the outside spaces being especially nice to take in the panoramas, relax in the shade or just hide from the rest of the family.<br><br> Lots of things to do in the region, obviously, but would recommend: Boat trip to Balos from Kissamos, The Wave and Menta restaurants in Maleme, Chania old town and scuba diving over in Souda bay with Omega divers. For meat for the BBQ head over to Platanias and the Meating - Mathioulakis shop!<br><br> Finally, the owners were extremely friendly/helpful, thanks Guys! ”

“If I could give more than 5 starts I would. The villa is just outside Plaka on the hill-side and has breath-taking views of the bay/sea. We loved sitting on the balcony, or down by the BBQ area watching the sun setting over the hills. We even managed to see the sun rise some mornings and this was equally spectacular. It is equipped with everything you could want and is clean and tidy. The pool is amazing and quite big!! Manolis/the owner, was there to welcome us when we arrived and was so friendly. He came a few times to clean the pool and water the plants and help us decide where to visit on the island. Our 2 teenage boys enjoyed the evenings in Almirida (about a 35 minute walk) where-as my husband and I often stayed for a drink or 2 in Plaka. Plaka is also where we ate most of the time when we weren't enjoying a BBQ next to the pool. I would definitely recommend this villa!!”

It has the best views in the area and also because you are high you get great privacy and always a breeze which is needed on those hot Cretan days.<br><br> My kids loved the pool and I have to say that everything was exceptional at the villa the whole time during our stay. If we had an issue the owner was on hand to help very quickly. ”
