“6 adults and 4 children have just returned from a great week at Villa Aurora. We all loved the high spec, contemporary and spacious villa, huge and well established garden, safe pool and incredible 360 degree views. There was enough shade and a welcome breeze during the day with wonderful lighting at night for watching the bats and owls. The single rooms were ok for two beds each and we made use of the sofa bed too- all comfortable. Good kitchen equipment and sufficient crockery and cutlery made eating in easy. <br><br> A car is essential but we still appreciated being away from busier areas as the house was so wonderfully peaceful. The owners met us when we arrived late and had done a shop for essentials we'd asked for which made our first evening and morning much easier. They were responsive to all our queries too. Booking and payment all simple through Chania Rentals.<br><br> Location is fabulous, we easily managed a wonderful beach day at The Wave on the Rock at Ravdoucha ( our favourite) and Falassarna, a day in Chania, a trip to Knossos, the water park at Varipetro and the Botanical Gardens. Recommend the ruins at Aptera and the beach at Georgiopolis from a previous trip, again all easily accessible. Lidl down the road!<br><br> All in all a wonderful villa for a three generation family holiday! Thank you!”

“We have spent two marvellous weeks in Villa Aurora and our stay has been perfect! three families and 5 children would have been difficult but cmodities, pool and the hudge garden allowed us to spend any single day over there in a peaceful and happy mood. CONSIGLIATISSIMA! : )”

“Hi We spent a wonderful journey in this house. The view is incredible and the swimming pool is great. The house is spacious and the person who welcomed us was very helpful.Two points should be improved : domestic equipments (Owen and washing machine) are really old and the cleaning could be better. We recommend highly this location.”

“Such a perfect place. Many many thanks to Lefteris & Alexandra for such a warm welcome - and the mountain of delicious fruit grown by Lefteris! Really friendly, lovely hosts - on the day leaving, they allowed us to stay til evening as no guests were coming in - so helpful with a late flight. <br><br> The villa is beautiful , the pool large & clean. The house is spotless & Alexandra does a mid-week clean, ensuring it is kept so. <br><br> There is a lot to do in this beautiful area but also very tempting to spend long lazy days by the pool. ”

“This is a place there you can be private or have many people around you. There is everything you need and the owner and her people take care of you and the villa. We like this place very much and hope we be there again soon. The pool is the place there you have fun or rest after traveling around the island. The sea is near. Free sunbeds. <br><br> Chania Rental is very nice and take care of your problem and give you very much help for your asking. “Everything was just great, Situation perfect. Just near enough to walk to bars, beach and bus stop but also far enough away to be peaceful in the evenings. Lovely pool. Well equipped although a little confusing with 2 kitchens! When we mentioned a lack of sharp cutting knives the owner arrived with new ones later the same day. Our family group ranged from a 1 year old to a 72 year old and everyone enjoyed it.”

“We stayed in the Eleni Villa for just over a week in July. It was the perfect house for both relaxing and seeing the area. <br><br> The days spent lazing around the pool and enjoying the view and the amazing sunsets were just wonderful. On the days we went out and about sightseeing the house was great to come back to and relax.<br><br> The communication was great and the owner met us at the house when we arrived even though it was late at night. He was always just a phone call away if we had any questions or needed anything.<br><br> I would recommend this place for a perfect getaway.”

“As a family we have been holidaying in Crete now on and off for some 15 years. We have stayed in many places and many different villas. Villa Resi has straight to the top of our list of places to stay. <br><br> Location – In-between Kalyves, Almyrida, Georgioupolis and close to Chania – a fantastic location. <br><br> Villa – New and clean, all that you could require was found within the villa. The beds were extremely comfortable which is a variety and a lovely surprise. <br><br> People – Adonis and Anita the villa owners are close by and on hand to assist and help if that is required. They kept their distance but it was nice knowing they were around. <br><br> I honesty couldn’t fault anything about our stay and I would 100% recommend villa Resi.<br> Thank you Adonis & Anita and Chania Rentals ”

“My family and I enjoyed a fabulous stay at Laina Villa in late July 2019.<br><br> The house is stunning, in a secluded spot, with a pool and 3 spacious sun terraces. It really is so quiet with just the sound of the cicada’s for company. Georgia and Dionysus have thought of everything you could need to enjoy your holiday, the house is so well appointed, and the housekeeping service was exceptional. The beds are super comfortable too, better than our one at home!<br><br> Our children loved the pool, and being girls loved the twin room that has mosquito nets, as it was as if each bed had a Princess canopy! Just as exciting were the hammocks tucked away on the terrace out of the sun.<br><br> Whilst we didn’t try the walk down to the beach, we often hopped in to the car and ate at Menta Bar which is on the beach at Maleme. It serves a great range of tasty traditional food and the service and hospitality is excellent. <br><br> The local taxi firm (Platanias Taxi) do a great rate to and from Chania and we often used them for evening’s out. The old town is beautiful and we can recommend Taverna Ena in the back streets for a great meal. The covered market is great for picking up fresh fish at a fantastic price and barbecuing back at the Villa.<br><br> It was particularly hot when we were there, and Georgia and Dionysus were generous enough to provide extra fans to supplement the air con, just when it was needed for a couple of days.<br><br> Elafonissi is a must for a visit, but leave no later than 7am to get there by 8.30 so you can appreciate the beauty before the crowds turn up (11am) and spoil things. It is worth the journey even for a few hours. Lake Kournas is lovely too, hire a pedalo or a canoe, or enjoy Kalyves a village little further on beyond Chania. Be sure to stop at the ruins of Aptera on the way back.<br><br> We honestly could not fault the house and it’s facilities, we were very sad to leave after our two week stay.<br><br> Thank you Georgia and Dionysus!<br><br> The Shields & Taylor family. ”
