“As a family we have been holidaying in Crete now on and off for some 15 years. We have stayed in many places and many different villas. Villa Resi has straight to the top of our list of places to stay. <br><br> Location – In-between Kalyves, Almyrida, Georgioupolis and close to Chania – a fantastic location. <br><br> Villa – New and clean, all that you could require was found within the villa. The beds were extremely comfortable which is a variety and a lovely surprise. <br><br> People – Adonis and Anita the villa owners are close by and on hand to assist and help if that is required. They kept their distance but it was nice knowing they were around. <br><br> I honesty couldn’t fault anything about our stay and I would 100% recommend villa Resi.<br> Thank you Adonis & Anita and Chania Rentals ”

“My family and I enjoyed a fabulous stay at Laina Villa in late July 2019.<br><br> The house is stunning, in a secluded spot, with a pool and 3 spacious sun terraces. It really is so quiet with just the sound of the cicada’s for company. Georgia and Dionysus have thought of everything you could need to enjoy your holiday, the house is so well appointed, and the housekeeping service was exceptional. The beds are super comfortable too, better than our one at home!<br><br> Our children loved the pool, and being girls loved the twin room that has mosquito nets, as it was as if each bed had a Princess canopy! Just as exciting were the hammocks tucked away on the terrace out of the sun.<br><br> Whilst we didn’t try the walk down to the beach, we often hopped in to the car and ate at Menta Bar which is on the beach at Maleme. It serves a great range of tasty traditional food and the service and hospitality is excellent. <br><br> The local taxi firm (Platanias Taxi) do a great rate to and from Chania and we often used them for evening’s out. The old town is beautiful and we can recommend Taverna Ena in the back streets for a great meal. The covered market is great for picking up fresh fish at a fantastic price and barbecuing back at the Villa.<br><br> It was particularly hot when we were there, and Georgia and Dionysus were generous enough to provide extra fans to supplement the air con, just when it was needed for a couple of days.<br><br> Elafonissi is a must for a visit, but leave no later than 7am to get there by 8.30 so you can appreciate the beauty before the crowds turn up (11am) and spoil things. It is worth the journey even for a few hours. Lake Kournas is lovely too, hire a pedalo or a canoe, or enjoy Kalyves a village little further on beyond Chania. Be sure to stop at the ruins of Aptera on the way back.<br><br> We honestly could not fault the house and it’s facilities, we were very sad to leave after our two week stay.<br><br> Thank you Georgia and Dionysus!<br><br> The Shields & Taylor family. ”

“Nous avons passés 2 excellentes semaines en juillet dans la villa Metochi. Maison très confortable dans un coin charmant au calme avec une vue magnifique sur la mer. Bien localisée elle permet de découvrir la région nord ouest de la Crête. Très propre le ménage est fait deux fois par semaine. La piscine est agréable pour se reposer et se détendre après une balade dans les gorges. Nous ne regrettons pas notre choix.”

“As the smaller part of a doublehouse Villa Resi is a really great location. The other house wasnt rented at our stay - so no problems like noise or privacy. Villa Resi is well equipped, has all amenities you need, very new and best condition. Best aircondition I ever saw - you cant hear anything from it!! The road to Villa Resi is a little tricky - because its a very steep road - also with our E-bikes it was a hard way up. The owners are really nice and courteous - we got olive oil and apple pie for free and also some vegetables fresh from the garden. We hope to come again!! ”

“Euphoria Villa is well named! It truly is wonderful and we enjoyed every minute.<br><br> We were greeted by owner Manolis who made us feel so welcome whilst showing us around his beautiful villa and grounds which are all lovingly maintained to a high standard by his family . During our stay he was always friendly, helpful and generous, providing some provisions on arrival as well as thoughtful Cretan gifts. <br><br> The villa is nice and comfortable, clean and very well equipped, making it more like a home from home. With plenty of space throughout, the two double bedrooms and shower rooms were ideal for us as two couples. The third bedroom is also a decent size. One safe is included for valuables.<br><br> The setting is magnificent with amazing views out across Souda Bay, and the villa and gardens cleverly designed to enjoy these from all areas. The tempting pool is a generous size and depth with lovely tiled surround making it a perfect place to swim and laze in the sun or shade. The adjacent BBQ area had everything provided with the comfortable canopied seating area right beside it. On the first floor of the villa is another sun terrace which was our favourite place for a cool evening beer whilst watching the spectacular sunsets. Perfect!<br><br> Euphoria is set in a peaceful location on the edge of Plaka, just a ten minute stroll to a selection of very hospitable tavernas and a couple of local supermarkets selling lovely fresh produce. Almyrida is only a 20 minute downhill walk away, with Taxis back being easy and good value. Worth doing on an evening for the wider selection of places to eat and drink right beside the beach. Like Almyrida, nearby Kalyves also has a great small beach, safe bathing, and choice of places to eat. <br><br> The booking of the villa and car hire with Chania Rentals was a breeze, and Vlahakis was great to deal with every step of the way. Very professional, prompt and reliable.<br> The car pick up/drop off at the airport went smoothly and enabled us to explore more of this gem of an island from Spinalonga to Elafonisi! Fabulous! <br><br> We are so glad we chose to stay in this villa, and highly recommend it in every way.”

“Das waren wunderbare 2 Wochen zwischen den Olivenbäumen. Das Haus ist sehr schön, die Aussicht ein Traum, der Pool ist super. Mit Grill, den wir auch oft benutzt haben. Der nächste Strand liegt aber ca. 1.5km zu Fuß entfernt und hat grobe Kiesel. Man benötigt also unbedingt ein Mietwagen um an Sandstrände zu gelangen. Wir haben den Vormittag immer am Pool verbracht und sind mittags ans Meer (Balos 1h Fahrt, Elafonisi 1.5h Fahrt, Ravdoucha....) oder ins Inland (Tageswanderung Samariaschlucht, Wasserfälle,...) In der Nähe gibt es den Deutschen Soldatenfriedhof. Eine Fahrt nach Chania dauert 20 Minuten und haben wir zum Essen öfter gemacht. Knossos, Heraklion, Psychro dauerte und die einfache Fahrt über 2,5h zu lange und haben wir nicht gemacht. Alles in Allem: zu empfehlen!”

“Really nice, new Villa just a few minutes away from Maleme Center where you can find really good Restaurants. Beach is ok in Maleme - you better hire a car and go around the western part of the Island. There are so many nice beaches! The Hosts were very friendly and helpful in every way - they were cleaning the house twice during our stay which we didn't expect...Thanks a lot for your hospitality & we'll Keep in touch!”

“We have just returned from a lovely 3 week stay at Villa Victoria.<br> Everything was wonderful especially Gianni and his generous hospitality and thoughtful gifts.<br> The views are magnificent and the house and the pool and the peaceful location provide a truly luxurious experience.<br> The wildlife around the villa is remarkable. We enjoyed watching the hawks and the variety of lovely birds. Very convenient for great tavernas, especially Athitis in Kavalos just a kilometre down the hill,. The amazing beach and many quality restaurants at Georgioupolis are a short ten minute drive away. Aposperida in the village, Blue Boat Beach Bar and Poseidon Beach Taverna are well worth a visit. The nearby Grillo stables provided truly memorable horseriding along the long sandy beach at Georgioupolis.<br> This is an enchanting place which caters for a very relaxing holiday.”
