“We had an excellent time in the Lithos villa. This is really a quiet place and the views from the villa are wonderful. The villa is fully equiped. Providing you have a car, you can visit the nice villages all around and be at the beach within 5 to 10 minutes. Chania is 20 minutes drive. We strongly recommend this location”

“The villa is very clean, comfortable and spacious. The building is old, but inside the villa is completely renovated. The atmosphere of the time, of the old construction and interior design within the villa is saved. The interior is simple but racy. Stone walls are thick and wooden ceilings are very high, so it is not too hot and a lot of air. We do not even need to use air-conditioning in the bedrooms not looking for the hot weather. Our bedroom on the second floor has four windows with shutters! Mattresses are comfortable, bed linen is high quality. The high stone fence around the territory of the villa, along which are planted plants, gives a feeling of complete privacy. The owners of the villa are very friendly. Clean swimming pool. It is recommended to have a car for trips to the beach, shops and taverns, because the weather was too hot for the long work.”

“We spend a nice time there. The house was very easy to find, but anyway the agency sent us (even!) pictures with the locations. The images in the web are absolutely real pictures!!! Everything was like that. TV in every single room, fantastic swimming pool, the green was perfect and the view from the house, really nice. ”

“This is our second holiday in this villa and we can thoroughly recommend it! It's private, well equipped and comfortable and we will certainly return. The friendly family of cats is still there and did visit every day. The owner is very pleasant and helpful but he will also value your privacy. We have stayed in many villas in the past and this is one of the best locations we've had. A car is a must as there is quite a long driveway through the olive groves and a bit of a climb back from the beach. Maleme is on a decent bus route though.”

“The villa is excellently positioned towards the Mediterranean sea tha opens up from the living room really nicely. The premises are nicely functioning for family needs and the same goes with the kitchen. The pool area is very nice for relaxation. All in all we had extremely nice week in Crete.”

“This villa exceeded our expectations - its is beautiful! Tucked in a quiet wee valley about 2km from Georgepolis, it is quite secluded, with amazing views and a lovely outlook of the bay. On top of this it has the most wonderful pool area where we spent a lot of time in and around. The garden is lovely and so are the beautiful cats which we fed while there. Hopefully mother cat and kitty are still doing well. A car is definitely required, the driveway requires caution to the unitiated. The facilities are excellent and you couldn't ask for anything more, The little township of Gerogepolis has everything you need to stock the larder, with wonderful people in the tavernas and shops. You must take the paddle boats up the river to see the turtles, they are fantastic and also introduce yourself to Christina the pelican! Thank you so much for the use of this wonderful villa. ”

“We had the most amazing week at Neriana Villa. The accomodation was very comfortable, with everything we needed to hand. The setting is very quiet and the gardens and pool are beautiful. Our two young daughters, (4 and 2), had a lovely time jumping in and out of the pool and running around the large gardens and orange trees. Neriana's host was very welcoming and helpful, and we were able to produce our first meal with the generous gifts of fresh fruit, vegetables and olive oil he had left us. We loved Crete and the Western coast in particular and will definately return one day.”

“We have just had our best ever family holiday at the old olive mill. First class accomodation, setting, welcome, everyone and everything was absolutely brilliant. Manousos and his family are absolute stars. We didn\'t make it out the week we were supposed to as our youngest was taken into hospital 5 hours before take off and the family and Vlahakis at Chania Rentals saved the holiday by moving the dates at very short notice at no extra cost. We will definately be coming back! As others have mentioned the hospitality of the family not to mention the Cretians generally was exceptional and UK \'holiday providers\' could learn a thing or two from them!”

“We are two families with small kids and stayed for a week in this beautiful villa. The surroundings are perfect for those who want to escape the touristy masses but want all the amenities to be within reach. The villa is very prettily furnished and has all you need, from dish-washer, iron, and other appliences to thread and needles and even safety plug protectors, therefore, it is very well prepaired for families with kids. The garden is just the right size with a nice bbq and pool. We have to give a special thanks to the owner Manos, who was a perfect host and ready to help us in any enquiry. In conclusion, a wonderful stay in a lovely villa, I recommend it with no reservations!”
