“Location impeccable, que ce soit pour la maison, l'accueil ou la situation géographique. La maison est isolée et très au calme. Vue mer sur falaise et coucher de soleil! Maison très bien équipée. Très grande terrasse avec piscine. Plages variées et nombreux restaurants à proximité ( trois minutes de voiture). Pour avoir pas mal visité la Crète, je peux vous conseiller cette destination, c'est vraiment, vraiment un excellent point de chute.”

“We are three families used to travel around together as a group of 12 people, 6 of which are teenagers; we had a very nice 10 days stay in the villas and really enjoyed the site and the beautiful landscape, the pretty large swimming pools and quietness of the location. It was very nice to have a peaceful dinner in the outside veranda with a wonderful view after a day spent at the seaside! Housekeeping and maintenance status were generally good. The location definitely requires to have a car for moving and is recommended for families or groups seeking a quiet environment in the country and self catering facilities. ”

“Villa and Grounds were of a very high standard with lots of space for our familly of 5 with differing age groups. Cleanliness was spotless and had all the amenities to ensure a very comfortable stay. The rooms within the Villa were spacious with plenty of storage facilities.The owners could not be any more helpful and friendly on arrival at the villa. During our stay, the electric power supply tripped very late at night and after a call to request help the owner appeared within the hour to remedy. Excellent service. The benefit of both sunny and shady areas of the garden made staying around the villa a very pleasant experience with the added bonus of the most stunning views accross the bay. Pool was just the right size and temperature and again spotlessly clean. The village itself had local supermarkets which had adequate supplies . The local tavernas were situated in the village centre which were a 3 minute walk, and served local as well as well as pizzas and pasta dishes all at reasonable prices with staff very friendly. As stated in the accomodation details a car is essential for exploring the area beyond the village. Chania City centre and harbour area well worth the visit as well as the many beaches commercialised and quiet dotted along the coastline. Almyrida the closest beach village is reallly pleasant and we particularly enjoyed the spaciousness of the beach, the facilities of sunbeds and parasols, the sandy beach with gradual sea depth made it a perfect beach resort for families. We particulary enjoyed the shoreline restuarants with sunset views which were stunning. We are the type of family that rarely returns to the same accomodation but will seriously consider returning to this Villa in future years and will recommend highly to our friends and family.”

“We realy appreciate your house, pool ans localisation The place is relay calm for a family, the view is beautiful. We were pleased to see that house keeping was donne 2 time a week includind washing to pool and the house I recommend this adress and I m sure to come back with family or friend to rent 1 or 2 villas Thank you for these 10 days in Crete J'Achard ”

“We stayed in Markos Villa for a week with our 13-years old daughter and our 78-years old mum. The villa was really spacious, finished to a good standard and suitable for our needs.The pool is stunning, nice size. We were dining out most of evenings in Almirida, but when we did eat at the villa, we enjoyed the terrace on the first floor as this gives you a lovely view of the Souda Bay. We watched the stars from the top of the house - the terrace is 360 degrees, so you can see the mountain tops as well as the sea. On the day of the arrival we were greeted with warm moussaka in the oven and a tray of small parcels filled with dill and feta cheese! It was simply delicious . What a lovely touch!”

“I would thoroughly recommend this villa. Upon arriving we were greeted within five minutes even though we arrived over an hour early than we were expected. The owners were extremely friendly, welcoming and helpful. The villa itself could not have been better. It is situated upon quite a steep hill but is not too difficult to get to. It easily accommodated all 10 people within our group without feeling crowded. I would thoroughly recommend going to this villa and would go back there myself, the neighbours were second to none and we're hospitable to a group of 21 year olds. Definitely a good place to go.”

“This villa was an ideal choice for our first visit to Crete. It ticks all the boxes for us: peaceful location, fabulous pool and outside space for our 2 young boys, (with toys), well equipped kitchen, bathroom and internet. What made our stay truly special and memorable however was the little extras providing by the owner, who was a great host! This included a welcoming basket of fresh fruit, wine and olive oil and eggs, toys and bikes for the kids, and helpful and friendly advice. You will certainly need a car to visit some lovely sandy beaches and sites. We would also recommend a walk down the road to the fabulous local taverna, which serves the most amazing food! ”

“First,let me honestly thank to Mr. Vlahkis Artemis,Chania-rentals for his proffesional on-line service dealing with our resrvation.That made everything easy. By mr Artemis recomandation,we rented Anthos Villa in Gavalochory village. The Villa is simply lovely.located above the village with a magnificent vew . 3 minuets by car to the village center.excellent 2 tavernas in gavalochory village.Good bakery. The villa is new ,designed and tastefully decorated .Very clean and well maintained.Stella,the owner, was very very kind ,surprised us with some food for the first morning and a bottle of olive oil when we left-thank you Stella!!! great swimming pool-for the happiness of our kids. We would be more then happy to come again and recomend to our frinds and relatives.Chania-rentals and Anthos villa deserve it!!! ”

“The house was very comfortable, quite recent. The view was impressive. The comfort inside was really good ( washing machine, Satellite, ...) We saw a lot of time the owner who give us good advices on things to see. Recommended without any hesitation”
