Lefteris home dates back to the 18th century. During the German Occupation the house was a hideout for the Cretan rebels. Today it has been restored with respect to tradition and transformed into two adjacent, yet independent villas; Lefteris Villa and Joanna Villa. Great care has been taken to keep the beauty and aura of its original architecture.

The villas are notable for their impressive stone archways and architectural elements of the time hidden in corners and unexpected areas. Each villa has its own high walled courtyard providing privacy. The villas are located in the area of Metochi, 1km away from the historic village Maleme and 10min walk away from the beach.

Joanna villa is 200sq.m, surrounded by a beautiful garden, of which a big part is covered with grass, where a private pool with an integral children’s area and a barbecue are found. The villa has two shaded entrances, both of them under stone arches, where you can relax away from the hot sun of the summer midday.

The villa has three floors. At the ground floor there are the living room with the stone walls and the fireplace, the kitchen and a wc. The first floor consists of a bathroom, a twin bedroom with a private balcony overlooking the pool, a double bedroom with a four-poster bed and an en suite bathroom with jacuzzi and a common bathroom. The entire second floor is a bedroom with a four-poster bed and a private balcony with sea view.
